Harry Potter: Miss Malfoy

Chapter 65 Lover Chapter

The second semester was unusually peaceful.

It wasn't until one night two weeks into term that Harry heard the strange tone again.

"Tear... kill..."?

Harry ignored the looks from the people at the long dinner table and ran out of the hall like a flash.

Suddenly I remembered that Draco did not appear at the Slytherin table tonight.

After turning a few corners, I was always worried that what I would see would be another petrified body.

But saw nothing.

The eerie tone was long gone, and there was no sign of Draco.

That night, Harry was still worried about Draco and couldn't fall asleep.

Suddenly I extremely wished I had a way to contact Draco directly.

The next day, Ron and I were about to leave for the Potions classroom.

I heard the sound of splashing water and the noisy sound of Weeping Myrtles coming from the women's restroom at the end of the second floor.

Filch ran around in a rage, while Ron was nervously worried about another attack.

Harry understood in his heart that this was Draco's signal that he wanted to hand the diary over to him.

A week later than expected.

Maybe she wanted to try it one more time before transferring.

And it seems to have been successful, which is why we heard the sound yesterday.

But why was there no attack?

Did Draco successfully take back himself who was controlled by the diary?

He held on to a glimmer of hope that he could talk to Draco, but he also knew that with people returning to campus, it would be difficult for him to have a chance to talk to Draco alone.

Stepping into the splashing bathroom, Ron asked Crying Myrtle what had happened.

Harry, however, went straight into the compartment where the Transfiguration Potion had been hidden.

When I opened the door, I saw the diary lying on the ground.

After listening to Ron's warning not to pick up magic books of unknown origin,

Harry smiled and put the diary into the pocket of his robes.

During the Potions class, I secretly observed Draco and found that she still looked a little tired.

As soon as the class was over, Draco passed by him before leaving the classroom.

Ron had already muttered "I'll go back to the dormitory first!" and fled.

Ever since the Transfiguration Potion incident, Ron seemed to be a little more afraid of Draco.

As Draco passed by him, he held his hand very subtly.

Harry was surprised and delighted, and also felt Draco's knuckles trembling slightly.

It was released in less than three seconds, and Harry felt a piece of paper stuffed into his hand.

He patiently ran back to the dormitory and only released his hand when Ron wasn't paying attention.

He clenched his fists from time to time along the way, and the gentle touch of Draco's fingers seemed to still press on his palms.

The information on the paper is simple, but there are many traces of smudges.

Use a diary after a while.

thank you.

Harry threw the paper over the candlelight and looked at it carefully. He could vaguely see,

After "Thank you", the tip of the pen pressed out the words "Har..."

Did she want to be called by her first name?

-

On the first night after Hermione was finally discharged from the hospital, Harry couldn't help but take out the diary and share it with Ron and Hermione.

"You kept this diary and only told me now!?"

Ron looked at Harry with a hurt expression.

"Don't argue. Harry probably just thinks I can better uncover the secrets of the diary."

Hermione said with great interest, and Ron looked as if he had been hit by an uppercut in the stomach.

But it's not without reason.

A few minutes ago, Hermione had quickly deduced that Riddle might be involved with the Chamber of Secrets.

Ron could only watch as Hermione picked up her wand and cast a spell on the diary. The title page remained blank.

Hermione hurried back to the dormitory. Harry used the free time to apologize to Ron.

"Sorry bro, but you're mostly in the ward."

"That's right..."

Before I could say anything more, Hermione came running back like a storm.

Take an eraser and rub it hard.

Still nothing happened. Just like the calm start of the semester.

There have been no attacks in the past two or three months, and the students have quickly regained their vitality.

Whispers began to spread, perhaps the cycle of attacks had ended, perhaps the Heir of Slytherin was sated.

This seemed to convince Lockhart that now was a good time to boost morale through celebration.

He burst into Professor McGonagall's classroom before the Transfiguration class and announced that he had prepared a surprise for everyone.

The result was that Harry, Ron and Hermione all thought that Professor McGonagall in this class was Snape in disguise after drinking the Transfiguration Potion.

Of course Ron kept complaining, and even Hermione had some complaints about Professor McGonagall's bad temper.

But Harry was in a good mood during class these days.

Draco had looked much better since Harry had taken over the care of the diary.

When the two of them occasionally exchanged glances during Potions class, Draco would even wink at him playfully.

----

But this mood was completely destroyed on the morning of Valentine's Day.

Harry walked into the hall with sleepy eyes, and suddenly felt desperate that he didn't want to eat breakfast again in his life.

The walls were covered with gaudy pink and purple florals, and heart-shaped paper cutouts kept falling from the ceiling.

Beside the long table of each college, there were groups of three, dwarves with extremely ugly faces and funny costumes.

The students in the hall were whispering noisily, and Harry saw Ron waving at him excitedly.

"How is this going?"

He looked with disgust at the shredded paper decoration on the plate that was soaked with lard.

Ron said gloatingly, pointing to the high table where the professors were sitting.

"Lockhart did it. Something about a Valentine's Day special and then he said those dwarves were his Cupids."

Harry saw Snape glaring at Dumbledore at the dinner table.

I was worried that one day in the future, Snape might kill Dumbledore just for hiring Lockhart.

Ron elbowed Harry, motioning him to look towards the Slytherin table.

Only then did he notice that Draco's face was extremely pale, and he was biting his lower lip tightly, as if he was enduring some unusual pain.

"I guess I'm worried that I won't receive a confession."

Ron said with some pride.

"It is said that Snape also ordered that if anyone dared to express love to a Slytherin,

"He'll force that person to drink only bone spirit for the next few weeks."

Then he declared proudly.

"He must have felt it was too embarrassing for Malfoy to receive nothing, so he used this trick."

Harry was a little worried that Ron's brain had not yet fully recovered from the Transfiguration Potion.

He wanted to get some support from Hermione, but found that Hermione was just staring at Lockhart with admiration.

Noticing that Draco hadn't even had breakfast, he walked out, bent over, supported by Pansy and Daphne.

His face was still pale.

Harry was even more certain that Draco must have encountered some difficulties, so he didn't even eat a few bites of breakfast, stood up, and followed him out of the hall.
