Harry Potter: Miss Malfoy
Chapter 56 The Crying Trio
After the Bloody Baron's attack, Draco never opened his diary again, and the campus returned to peace.
After the last Potions class before the Christmas holidays, Snape pulled Draco aside.
"Lucius said you're not going home for Christmas this year?"
Snape said this, his eyes narrowed into lines, looking carefully.
It was confirmed that during this period, Draco was not further corrupted by the diary.
I felt relieved, then I remembered Lucius's anxious look.
He seemed to be in a hurry to find out whether there was any scoundrel that had captured his daughter's attention.
Snape smiled rarely.
There are indeed some scumbags, but Lucius can't afford to offend them.
At least, when he was the Dark Lord's favored pawn.
"I want to study...some things while no one is at school."
Draco spoke carefully, not wanting to let anything slip.
She didn't know what was going on in her mind.
As early as she was thinking about how to choose words, the pictures were displayed one by one in front of Snape.
The head with long black hair nodded and spoke softly.
"Don't work too hard during the Christmas holidays. When school starts, come to my office the night after Potions class."
"We can start some exercises, maybe, it will help you a little."
As Snape spoke, Draco's eyes lit up.
"Will you teach me a new magic?"
Looking at Draco's handsome face full of expectation, Snape smiled gently.
"Don't worry, you'll know when school starts."
"Now, you have more important things to do."
There was silence for a moment, and Draco tilted his head slightly, looking a little confused.
"Go to the hospital ward quickly, they are waiting for you."
As soon as he finished speaking, Draco's eyes widened, and his crystal eyes were filled with clear tears.
-
"Miss Malfoy! No running allowed in the ward!"
The long platinum hair flashed into the hospital ward, and the rapid pace that was almost like a run provoked the rebuke of Madam Pomfrey.
Draco ignored him, and Madam Pomfrey could only sigh deeply, and her usually stern expression softened a lot.
Of course she understood why Draco was running around the castle in an inappropriate manner, disregarding his proper manners.
In the eyes of the head nurse, there is nothing more comforting and happy than watching the long-ill students recover and wake up, and reunite with their anxious friends.
"Swish!" With a loud noise, the curtains of two beds were drawn open in the corners of two floor-to-ceiling windows deep in the hospital ward.
Three anxious and nervous gazes crossed each other, each of their charming eyes stared open for a moment, and the trembling of their eyelashes reflected the heartbeat that could not be hidden even with their tightly closed lips.
Time froze for a moment, and then, suddenly, a tearing pain in the chest came, forcing Draco to bend down, gripping the edge of the bed with both hands, choking and coughing.
The shock of being suddenly still after running so fast just now was mixed with the excitement and complex emotions of reuniting with Pansy and Daphne.
Draco lowered his head, gasping for breath, and felt dizzy.
Until two pairs of gentle hands supported me.
Daphne held Draco's hands, which were originally tightly grasping the end of the bed. Pansy held the water glass in her left hand and gently patted his back with her right hand.
"Draco..."
Daphne called her name softly, and her voice changed her expression, showing only worry and reluctance.
Draco couldn't help but notice that although Pansy's hands showed concern, she was still looking at him without saying a word.
A feeling of pain as if something had scratched me flashed through my heart again, and my throat choked with sobs.
She pursed her lips and blinked her sore eyes before speaking.
"I'm sorry... ahem..."
Even the long-overdue apology could not be expressed because of excessive panting.
Draco's eyes became hotter and redder, as if something was ironing him.
Still feeling annoyed with herself, the cup of water gently touched her slightly open lips.
"Drink some water first."
Pansy finally spoke, her tone stiff and unnatural.
Draco took the cup of water, and somehow, even though he had held it tightly with both hands, the cup was still shaking, causing the clear water to splash onto her cheeks, which were still flushed from the intense exercise.
As he sipped, his eyes never left Pansy's expression.
Finally, she burst out laughing.
"Well, it's worth it for me to be angry when I see Miss Malfoy lose her composure like this."
Pansy said this with a forced smile on her face, and her eyes were already full of red circles.
Draco bit his lip tightly, and the two of them looked at each other with stubborn expressions and stiff limbs. Daphne, who was holding their hands tightly, had already shed tears.
The situation remained deadlocked until Draco tentatively moved his forehead a few inches towards Pansy.
The originally uncomfortable atmosphere seemed to become natural in the blink of an eye.
He lowered his head and took a few steps. From the corner of his eye, he saw Pansy extending her hand, and also saw Daphne approaching.
When I came to my senses, I found myself clinging to each other.
Draco and Pansy hugged each other gently, tilted their heads and buried their faces in each other's necks.
They each stretched out their hands and gently placed them on each other's shoulders, which were trembling slightly due to sobbing.
They let Daphne hold their free hands and she moved closer, keeping her arms close to Pansy and Draco, but she didn't want to disturb her best friends who had finally reconciled.
Amid the friction of clothes, gentle warmth and the familiar fragrance enveloped each other.
The whisper next to my ear brought out warm air, evaporating the tears that had just fallen from the corners of my eyes.
"Hello...long time no see..."
"I miss you so much..."
"You two... woo..."
"Really...really..."
The three of them snuggled up together, hugging each other, and while crying and laughing, they all recalled their childhood.
The arrogant Draco and the extroverted Pansy, two people with strong personalities, are always bound to have friction and conflicts. It is always Daphne who runs around for them, slowly smoothing out their edges and perfecting their friendship.
"Why are you the one crying the most?"
"Don't... don't cry anymore. This will also make me... uh... super annoyed."
"I'm sorry...but...because..."
"I'm sorry to have made you worry again, Daphne..."
“Woo…hahaha…”
"No, we have to suspend the apology meeting."
"You look like a lunatic when you cry and laugh at the same time..."
"I can't help it. I just want to cry. It was you who started it..."
"Then, the thought of crying like this makes me feel stupid and makes me want to laugh."
"You can't...talk like that."
"Oooooh...can't stop..."
Crying and laughing were intertwined. The three people hugged each other tightly, took off their flat shoes, and sat cross-legged on the neatly arranged hospital beds.
