Harry Potter: Miss Malfoy

Chapter 40 The Worst Start of School

"Is Diggory that scary?"

Draco muttered in confusion, but suddenly turned to Pansy and Daphne as if he wanted to say something.

"Am I that scary? Why do they all look like they're afraid I'll be angry?"

Draco asked slowly, then looked at Pansy's eyes widened and Daphne tilted her head, both of them with expressions of disbelief.

"what happened?"

Draco felt uncomfortable being stared at by the two and frowned on his handsome face.

"Draco are you... okay?"

Daphne took a few steps forward, with some concern in her eyes.

Pansy covered her mouth, but couldn't stop her laughter.

"It's okay! Why do you act like there's something wrong with me..."

Draco was confused about what to do with the two people's reactions and complained with a hint of dissatisfaction.

Daphne stood there somewhat at a loss, and Pansy turned away, ignoring Draco.

She stood on tiptoe, took a small leather bag from the luggage rack, and handed it to Draco with a smile.

"It should be eyes...eyes. Your eyes are too small. It feels like you are angry."

Pansy tried to hold back her laughter as she explained to Draco, she laughed out loud several times between sentences.

Draco pouted and wrinkled his nose at Pansy, making a face.

But she still took it curiously, untied the bag, and put her slender right hand into it.

The mirror and bracket were cold. Draco took them out curiously.

I was surprised to find that Pansy handed me a pair of silver-rimmed round glasses with a green hue.

He looked at Pansy in confusion and found that she was looking at him with a smirk on her face.

Looking at Daphne again, her innocent face was wide open with her lively frosty eyes, full of anticipation.

"It's beautiful, isn't it? You'll see when you put it on. It makes your eyes look bigger."

"Although, maybe, what you want to become bigger is..."

"Pansy!"

"Parkinson...!"

Pansy slowed down her tone, and the words she almost said touched the sensitive nerves of the girls. Daphne blushed and protested loudly, and Draco was also embarrassed and warned with gritted teeth.

Pansy stuck out her tongue, tilted her head slightly, and asked in an innocent tone.

"It's a chance to win the Quidditch Cup."

"What's wrong? What did you two well-mannered ladies think of?"

He looked smugly at Daphne, whose face was flushed and speechless, and Draco, who had a delicate face but puffed up cheeks.

"Humph."

Draco snorted coldly and glared at Pansy awkwardly, but he couldn't resist his curiosity and slowly opened his glasses and lightly hung them on the tip of his nose.

I also want to know what I would look like if I wore glasses.

But at the same time, Pansy's hint also reminded him that he was still getting used to the discomfort of being tied up.

He couldn't help but recall the summer vacation when he walked into his mother's room nervously and shyly, asking evasively about the things inside, and Narcissa's slightly mocking and pitying hug and look.

The cheeks with glasses on suddenly turned rosy, and Daphne's surprised moan and Pansy's laughter, a mixture of satisfaction and success, were heard.

“Wow~~~!”

"It's really possible! You can be a couple!!!"

Hearing the two people's continuous praise, Draco curiously took out the small round mirror he carried with him from the inner pocket of his robe. He was looking at his unique and intellectual appearance in the mirror with satisfaction when Pansy's teasing suddenly flashed through his mind.

His face suddenly turned red again, and he closed the round mirror in his right palm with a click.

His eyes were tightly narrowed behind his round-framed glasses, and there was a hint of danger of displeasure in his tone.

"What did you just say that can make a pair?"

Although Draco was unable to get angry, the two best friends were already familiar with the Malfoy daughter's temper.

Everyone knew that at this moment she was just pretending to be annoyed because she was teased.

Sure enough, Draco ran forward with a pout and pinched Pansy's cheeks with both hands.

"Explain it to me clearly!"

"I know...I know..."

Daphne held back her smile and walked forward to hug Draco. Pansy struggled helplessly and kept fighting back.

The three were laughing and joking when the sliding door of the box was suddenly opened with a click.

-

Daphne and Draco quickly let go of each other and stood away from each other, calming their expressions and breathing, not wanting to be seen by the newcomers playing inappropriately.

Pansy still stood there straight, with a smile on her face and breathing lightly.

Looking at the rude man who opened the door of the box, before seeing his face, I recognized his frizzy brown curly hair.

"Granger?"

Draco asked slightly confused, his face tilted slightly to the side.

"Eh...huh? Malfoy???"

Hermione looked a little anxious at first, but when she recognized Draco she was stunned for a moment, then revealed a mysterious expression.

"Can we be of service?"

Hermione's half-smile made Draco a little anxious, and he asked hurriedly.

Hermione frowned again after being awakened by Draco's question.

"Nothing. I was just looking for Harry and Ron."

"It seems they didn't get on the train. I've searched every carriage, and you're the only ones left."

After hearing Hermione's words, Draco also frowned. He hesitated for a moment before speaking suspiciously.

"If students miss the express train, the school should have a solution...?"

"At least, after the express arrived and the prefects took attendance and found that some students were absent."

"Professor Dumbledore and the others should investigate why some students are absent, right?"

Hermione nodded hastily and spoke out Draco's doubts impatiently.

"Yeah, I guess so. Remember those weird back-to-school owl letters that always get delivered?"

"What I don't understand is that they obviously have some way of knowing where we are."

"Why do we suddenly not know that someone didn't get on the bus now?"

After Hermione finished speaking, Draco couldn't help biting his lip, doubts rising in his heart.

Somehow, I remembered the various notes that pushed me into adventures last year.

I always feel that maybe someone is secretly pushing something forward.

There was also a growing sense of uneasiness about Harry's absence.

"Forget it. I think Professor Dumbledore will send someone to look for them soon once he finds out."

"I just wanted to make sure they weren't on the express."

"Sorry to bother you, Malfoy."

Hermione's words broke his thoughts, and Draco raised his head and watched her leave the box.

Just as she was about to close the door of the box, Hermione finally couldn't help laughing.

"If you want it so badly, you'll have to get another scar on your forehead."

As soon as he finished speaking, he slammed the sliding door of the box.

Leaving behind Pansy who was bent over with laughter and Daphne who was trying hard not to laugh out loud,

There was also Draco, whose snow-white neck was flushed and who was so angry that he didn't know what to do.
