Harry Potter: Miss Malfoy
Chapter 19: The unexpected part of the Halloween chapter (Hanging the bell!)
Compared with the washing space near the dormitory, Draco was slightly surprised by the simplicity of the women's restroom on the first floor.
In the huge stone chamber, there are washbasins on the left and a spacious bathroom on the right.
The toilet doors of each room were all locked except for the one on the deepest wall, and faint sobbing sounds could be heard.
Draco walked gently to the door and pursed his lips, unsure how to start.
We have been ingrained in our education since childhood that crying in a private space is an extremely private behavior and should not be pried into or disturbed.
After hesitating for a while and pausing, he decided to give up the idea of talking to Granger.
He wanted to turn around and leave, but hearing Granger's rapid breathing while crying, he couldn't help but feel reluctant.
"I'm...I'm sorry, are you okay?"
He tapped his knuckles lightly and knocked on the bathroom door, hearing Granger exclaim and a few sniffles.
"Ma...Malfoy?"
Granger's choking sound was heard, sounding particularly weak in the lingering echo.
Draco paused for a moment, pondering his words, before finally speaking again.
"You're amazing, don't worry about what those stupid boys say."
"Thank you...thank you."
After a few words, silence returned.
Draco stood there at a loss. Inside the toilet, Granger's sniffing frequency gradually slowed down.
I don't know how long it was before Granger pushed open the door with a slight click.
A few strands of hair stuck to her wet cheeks and she walked out with a red nose.
Eyes swollen from crying cannot hide intelligence.
"Why are you here?"
Hermione asked with a choked voice, and Draco turned his head quietly.
"Actually... there are some things I want to ask you."
"only......"
"What... uh sorry... what's the problem?"
Hermione spoke slowly, occasionally apologizing for crying too long and coughing dryly.
The proper etiquette made Draco even more curious.
"You really have no wizard blood at all?"
The question left his mouth, and he saw Granger raise half an eyebrow before he realized that he might have offended her.
Although the reason is unknown.
"No and...so what?"
Seeing Hermione's angry question, Draco was unexpectedly shocked.
My father's education since childhood has always made me believe that wizards are a better race than Muggles.
This is not just about magic, of course, but also about words and actions - the more wizards come into contact with Muggles, the more rude they tend to become.
After meeting Harry Potter and Weasley, this idea was confirmed and became even more profound.
As a result, his attitude towards Granger, who had pure Muggle ancestry, gradually changed from simple rejection to curiosity.
I don't understand why she has such a high talent for magic.
I was also curious why. From her brief response just now, it was obvious that she was well-educated.
What he never expected was that he, who came from a wealthy magical family, would actually verbally offend the descendants of Muggles.
Seeing her righteous look, he didn't know how to react for a moment, so he could only listen to Hermione speak again.
"I know that many wizards from Slytherin have been against and discriminated against Muggles in the past and even now."
"You don't share such superficial thoughts, Miss Malfoy?"
Granger's sadness was replaced by anger, and he asked sarcastically with wide eyes.
These words made Draco frown and take a step forward without showing any weakness.
"How can it be considered discrimination to oppose Muggle-born children receiving wizard education?"
"Wizards have historically been viewed by Muggles—"
"bump-"
The two men glared at each other, and before they finished speaking, they turned their heads and looked at the door on the other side of the toilet.
Outside the gate, there seemed to be a few slow and heavy hums.
The stone walls of the toilet would always scatter dust as they shook slightly with a "bang" sound.
"bump-"
There was another muffled sound, and the two looked at each other, subconsciously walked closer to each other, and drew out their wands.
The candlelight outside the toilet door cast a tall, dark human-shaped shadow inside the door.
Then, the shadow slowly moved forward, attracting the entity.
It was a monster that was twelve meters tall, with rough and dark skin like horn rock, dense muscles all over its body, but with a head that was too small.
The monster exuded stale body odor, and Draco hurriedly covered his mouth and nose, almost fainting from the odor.
He looked into Hermione's eyes again, seeing his own pale face in each other's pupils, and they slowly retreated to the wall together.
I don't know when, they have already held each other's hands.
Then, the door behind the monster slammed shut, and a crisp lock sounded.
The two of them saw themselves pale with fright in each other's eyes again.
It seems that someone has locked himself and the monster in the same space.
Then, they all heard a high-pitched scream coming out of their own mouths, which was enough to make their hearts stop.
In extreme horror, he watched the monster turn its head towards him.
The ugly big mouth opened its mouth excitedly when it saw its prey.
-
“Why why!”
"The troll's leather armor can block less destructive spells—"
"I don't need this kind of explanation right now!!!"
Draco and Hermione cried and waved their wands helplessly.
Watching the spells bounce off the giant monster, and watching it dragging a stick as thick as a small tree root,
As it continued to move forward, it enthusiastically destroyed the sinks and toilet doors on both sides.
Neither of them noticed that each other's screams and curses of fear only stimulated the troll, making it even more excited.
As the troll got closer and closer, the stench became overwhelming. Draco and Hermione held each other tightly with deathly pale faces, their lips and teeth trembling so much that they could no longer speak.
Then, in contrast to the night of the duel, Draco fell to the ground with a thud, his lower body weak.
The force of the fall was so strong that Hermione also fell down in pain.
"'Hermione!!!'"
From the other side of the toilet door, two male voices rushed in, shouting "Hermione" in unison.
Then, the black-haired figure stopped in surprise.
"Malfoy?"
"Don't be in a daze, Harry! Change its target first!"
Ron shouted loudly, raised the knocked-down faucet, and threw it hard at the back of the troll's head.
The troll simply stopped, scratched the part that was hit, and walked forward again as if nothing had happened.
It was not until Harry went crazy and hit the metal water pipes against each other, making a clanging sound, that he attracted the troll's attention.
"Run! Come here! Hurry up!"
Ron took advantage of the troll's move toward Harry and ducked past its feet, waving at Hermione.
Hermione stood up with difficulty, only to find that Draco was still slumped there, unable to move.
"Damn it!"
Ron cursed and kicked the broken water pipe.
Just as he was about to rush to the wall and pull up Hermione and Draco, water suddenly burst out of the pipe.
The water column pierced the troll's hind legs, causing the troll to turn his attention back and notice Ron who had just taken two steps.
The sound of water made the shouts and screams in the toilet echo even louder, and also stimulated the monster even more.
The troll raised the stick angrily and was about to hit Ron with it, but Harry suddenly rushed forward and climbed up from behind the troll.
With a great effort, the magic wand pierced straight into the troll's nostrils.
The troll roared in pain and angrily threw Harry on its back up and down and left and right.
Hermione was so frightened by the troll's sudden madness that she collapsed to the ground, and the wand in her hand fell to the ground with a clang.
Draco bit his lip tightly, and before he could make up his mind, he heard Ron's roar.
"Wingardim Leviosa!"
The wooden stick suddenly flew into the air, and after climbing up for a while,
It fell suddenly and hit the troll on the head with a disgusting sound of a shattering skull.
The unconscious troll shook violently, and Harry was thrown into the air.
The troll's strength before he fainted was incredible, and Harry was about to hit the stone wall and be seriously injured.
Ron opened his mouth, Hermione screamed, and Draco found that he finally had a little strength.
"Upside down...upside down fuchsia!"
