Chapter 410: Plan Leaked
"I've been waiting for you a long time, dear," Bathilda said hoarsely.
Bathilda, wrapped tightly in a blanket, did not wait for their response but turned around and walked back the way she came.
Afro frowned and looked at Bathilda with a strange expression. She had come to Godric's Hollow two or three months earlier to prevent Bathilda from being used by Voldemort and Nagini.
Is she late?
Afro grabbed Harry's sleeve and said to him nervously, "I feel something is wrong. She looks like she is being controlled."
Harry patted her hand soothingly, shook his head and said, "Let's go and see. She is friends with Dumbledore and may have something to give us."
For example, the Sword of Gryffindor that they have never found.
Harry followed Bathilda into a dusty, messy room.
The stale musty smell filled his nose, and for a moment Harry felt a cold sense of surveillance from behind.
His scar began to hurt again, and he saw before his eyes an old man hanging, with a pale, bony hand holding a wand pointed at him.
Then he heard himself saying: "Tell me, where is it? Gregorovitch!"
"I didn't know it was stolen years ago!"
"Who stole it?"
"A young man!"
"Don't lie to Lord Voldemort. He knows everything!"
Harry saw another golden-haired boy sitting in front of the window, his handsome face full of joy.
This face looked familiar, he seemed to have seen it somewhere.
"Harry? Harry?"
Aphrodite's shaking movement startled him, and Harry's eyes came back into focus.
"Aphrodite, I'm—"
"Hush!" Afro quietly pointed at Bathilda who was walking next door: "She is calling you, be careful."
Next door was a tiny living room cluttered with books and a paint-chipped wooden cabinet filled with picture frames.
In a silver photo frame, a spirited blond boy was smiling lazily at him.
It was the boy who stole Gregorovitch's things.
"Who is he?" Harry asked, pointing at the photo.
Bathilda glanced at the last photo and said nonchalantly, "My nephew is dead."
She trudged around the books and stood in front of a window. Harry stuffed the photo in his coat pocket and took a few steps in her direction.
"Do you have anything to give me, Ms. Bathilda?"
Bathilda pointed at the ceiling, then at Harry, and shook her head vigorously.
Her eyes moved to a pile of debris behind the curtains, and a hoarse voice slowly came.
"Ignotus is a third brother. What you are looking for is in the Abyss. Albus once tried to take the Invisibility Cloak!"
There was a lot of information contained in this short sentence. Bathilda seemed to be afraid that she would never be able to say it again, so she repeated it several times.
"Remember what I said, Potter." Bathilda stared at him with meaningful eyes: "I'm sorry, child."
Before Harry could figure out what Bathilda meant, a giant python descended from the sky, and its tail struck Harry hard in the abdomen before he could react.
The sound of fighting next door attracted four people who were waiting in the living room.
Avro ran into the room and saw Harry trying to push away the giant snake wrapped around him with both hands.
She immediately raised her wand and shouted, "Thunder Explosion!"
The spell bounced around the room, destroying the dressing mirror and the dressing table. Wood and Cedric also picked up their wands to join the battle, while Hermione and Ron stood in front of Bathilda.
"What's going on? How come a snake appeared?" Ron screamed, while casting spells at the giant snake.
"All petrified!"
"The flames are blazing!"
"Armor protection!"
The giant snake Nagini had released Harry, but their spells did no harm to it.
"He's coming! Aphrodite, he's coming!" Harry woke up in a damp, sour darkness, and his scar exploded with pain.
He knew Voldemort was already there, at the door.
Nagini stood up, hissing wildly, and all the porcelain and decorations in the room were swept to the ground by its tail.
Afro reached out and grabbed Harry beside her, shouting, "Everyone come closer to me and grab each other."
As soon as he finished speaking, everything in the room stopped.
Half a minute later, the world was back to normal. Nagini had somehow managed to wrap herself up in a bow, and Voldemort seemed to have left.
As Wood grabbed Avro's other hand, they disappeared into the void.
A sharp roar suddenly rang in Harry's ears, and his pain was Harry's pain.
Voldemort suddenly appeared in front of the window. The room was empty. He seemed to see the experience of that night again, the pain of death, the taste of death...
"Harry, wake up, wake up!"
I felt a wet touch on my cheek and the soft bed beneath me.
He opened his eyes and saw Afro holding a wet towel in her hand. She had just wiped his face.
"Don't worry, we are safe now."
Harry sat up and saw familiar faces gathered around his bed.
"Sirius? Why are you here too?"
Molly wiped her wet cheeks and choked up as she said, "After the last party went haywire, we all moved here."
"It's safe here." Draco put on a sour face, with one hand behind his back as if hiding something: "Sandringham Palace is in the countryside and is temporarily regarded as a base."
"Sandringham House? Isn't that the royal family's private residence?" Hermione, who came from a wealthy family, had once studied in a private school, and had some classmates who were related to the royal family.
They would come here every Christmas to meet the king.
"I have temporarily requisitioned this place from the royal family." Afro's tone was casual, as simple as explaining what to eat tomorrow morning.
"Is it so easy to requisition the palace?" Hermione was a little surprised.
"That's nothing. According to the law, I am also the heir to the throne, although I am ranked after seven or eight hundred." Afro shrugged and said nonchalantly.
Ron said enviously, "What's wrong with me being one more rich person in the world?"
"Isn't the point that there are more than 800 heirs?" It was the first time Blaise heard of a family with so many heirs. Compared with this, the wizarding world can't be said to be prosperous.
It was sparsely populated, to say the least.
Harry lay back on the pillows, looking a little haggard as he said, "Isn't the point what happened to Bathilda?"
After his reminder, everyone finally remembered to talk about business.
"We checked and Bathilda is believed to have been under the Imperius Curse." Moody limped in, holding his silver hip flask. "That's why she's behaving strangely."
"But what she said to me didn't sound like she was being controlled." Harry remembered the strange words Bathilda said to him last, and he couldn't believe that Bathilda was being controlled.
"Maybe she broke free from the spell at the last moment, or the mysterious man relaxed his control over her." Lupin looked a little sad, and Tonks leaned on him with a tired look on her face.
Molly sighed and said, "Poor Bathilda, she's so old..."
After a moment's silence, Sirius tugged on Avro's arm and led her to the corner of the room.
"There's no connection over there."
(This chapter contains a lot of personal ideas, so don’t take it seriously! Don’t take it seriously! A little science: Due to the complexity of the succession to the British throne, according to statistics, there are more than 900 royal family members in Europe who have the right of succession.)
