Chapter 409: People Who Rest Here

"What happened?"

"Wood discovered something about the Deathly Hallows." Afro glanced at the messy room and asked, "What are you doing?"

Harry held up his mother's letter and Afro took it and read it.

Perhaps they did not choose to go to Black House, and this half-content letter happened to be the second half in Sirius's hand.

Afro was even more convinced that something must have happened to Lily when she sent the letter, causing her to forget to put the second piece of parchment in.

"I'm looking for the missing stationery," said Harry. "Mother also mentioned Bathilda. I think she has something to do with these things. Let's go visit her later, okay?"

Harry tried hard not to reveal his thoughts. On the one hand, he wanted to ask about his parents, but on the other hand, his mother seemed to distrust Dumbledore in the letter.

Why is this happening?

What did Dumbledore take from his father?

"I understand why you want to talk to her about your parents." Afro stepped forward, put the folded letter in his pocket, and gently pulled his wrist.

"Let's go see the place Wood mentioned first, and then go to Bathilda's house."

Harry agreed and followed Avro to the stairs where he saw Ron, Cedric and Wood standing in the hallway holding three bouquets of flowers.

This was the first time he had walked out of his room. Harry looked out at the morning sun, the cold air blowing on his face.

Since Harry came to Godric's Hollow, he has been avoiding it. It seems that as long as he doesn't go out, nothing here will happen.

But every night, he would ask himself if he remembered anything. Although he knew it was impossible, after all, he was only a little over a year old when he left here.

Harry cleared his mind and followed them through a few houses until they came to a building that looked like a war memorial.

As they passed, the monument changed. The stone tablet with the names inscribed on it became a statue of three people.

A man wearing glasses, a beautiful woman, and a baby sitting in his mother's arms.

Harry walked forward slowly. He had never thought that he would see his parents' faces on a statue, and himself...himself without scars...

Afro handed the flowers in her hand to Harry. After the boy took it, he looked at it for a while before bending down and placing the flowers under the statue.

The sunlight shines on the stained glass of the church, reflecting the light of the gems.

Five people tiptoed and pushed open the church door. The choir was performing their daily singing accompanied by the organ.

As they got closer, the singing grew louder, reminding Aphrodite and Harry of Hogwarts.

Wood carefully pushed open the small door leading to the church cemetery, and five people went in one after another.

Rows of tombstones stand on the colorful carpet, which are projections of stained glass on the ground.

"How did you find this place?" Ron bent over and carefully read every name on the tombstone, occasionally looking around: "Don't tell me you were jogging in the cemetery in the morning."

Wood walked at the front of the group, leading them to the place he had found: "I was really just passing by and happened to find it."

He hadn't said half a sentence yet, he also saw the tombstone of Harry's parents here.

Wood glanced at Harry with a hint of sympathy and continued, "I just discovered there is a monument here today, and I came in out of curiosity."

They walked a few more meters and stopped in front of a moss-covered, weathered tombstone.

"You mean the Deathly Hallows is related to a tombstone?" Ron looked at the extremely ancient tombstone in front of him. He could hardly see the name on it and said uncertainly.

The only value of this tombstone is that it may be a cultural relic.

Aphrodite lit up her wand and pointed at the symbol under her name, "It's the same symbol as the Deathly Hallows."

Harry, Cedric and Hermione looked carefully. The tombstone was so badly weathered that they had to look at it for a long time before they could barely make out the name and symbol.

"It is very similar." Harry squinted his eyes to make out the words on it. "Ig-Ignotus--"

"Who is this person? Why is there the symbol of the Deathly Hallows engraved on his tombstone?" Cedric's light grey eyes were full of inquiry. He felt that a person would not engrave this symbol here for no reason.

Harry looked at Hermione, who was known as "Miss Know-It-All", and Hermione shook her head at them.

At this moment, Ron's sharp and clear voice came from a few meters away.

"Harry! This way..."

Harry walked towards him, and for some reason he felt as if there was something heavy pressing on his chest.

In front of the white marble tomb stands a granite tablet engraved with Kendra Dumbledore and his daughter Ariana.

There is also a saying: Where the treasure is, there the heart is also.

Two rows away from it, Harry didn't have to kneel or get very close.

He clearly saw the two names engraved on it - James Potter and Lily Potter.

There is also a famous quote below: The last enemy to be destroyed is death.

A kind of grief that oppressed my heart and lungs suddenly surged up, and tears flowed down my cheeks, burning hot.

Harry let the tears blur his eyes, biting his lips tightly with his teeth, and looked down at the ground under his feet, where his parents lay.

The heart that is beating in him at this moment is the one they paid for with their lives.

Afro and Harry placed the flowers in front of the Potters' gravestone, and she took Harry's hand and held it tightly.

Harry shook his hand back vigorously, taking deep gulps of the cold air and trying to calm himself.

He slowly read the words on the tombstone, and a terrible thought came into his mind: "...death...isn't this what Death Eaters think of?"

"I think the meaning of this sentence is not like the Death Eaters wanting to defeat death." Afro hugged his waist and buried his tear-stained cheek in his arms: "It means to live in death and live towards death."

Harry put his arm around her shoulders and said softly, "Let's go..."

If he stayed any longer, he wouldn't be able to bear it.

Wood and Cedric placed the last bouquet of flowers in front of Ariana's tombstone, and the five people turned around and left silently, just as they came.

"Which house does Bathilda live in?"

"Shall we go to the pub and ask?" Ron suggested.

"Don't forget that Harry is still in danger. We'd better go back quickly." Hermione once again regretted not reminding Harry to bring his invisibility cloak, but now they looked like ordinary Muggles.

They turned into a flower-filled alley, at the end of which stood an old man wrapped tightly.

She waved to Harry and the others, as if she had been waiting on this road for a long time.
