Chapter 406 The Deathly Hallows
"We need to find a place to change," Hermione said.
She and Afro were wearing long dresses, and Ron was wearing a dress robe, looking like an actor who had escaped from the theater.
"I should have brought my Invisibility Cloak." Harry said regretfully as he looked at the passers-by on the street turning their heads to look at them.
"I'll carry it for you." Afro carried them into an alley, where a large thing covered with a waterproof cloth was blocking the intersection.
Ron frowned, looked at the barrier blocking the exit, and said with a whimpering face, "What do we do now?"
Without even looking at him, Afro lifted the grey cloth and a bright red Rolls-Royce Phantom pulled up in the dark alley.
"Cool!" Ron excitedly reached out to touch the rearview mirror, but before Afro could stop him, a silver light flashed, leaving deep scratches on the wall of the alley.
"Don't touch it, Ron."
The window on the driver's side slowly moved down, revealing a young man with gray-black hair sitting inside.
"Good evening, Harry, Ron, and Hermione." Cedric put one hand on the steering wheel, wearing a pair of black sunglasses on his face: "Get in the car first, everyone is waiting for you."
"Digory, when did you learn to drive?" Hermione sat in the back seat and looked at them with a puzzled look.
"After graduation, Afro said this thing was very useful."
Hermione looked blankly at Cedric, who was reversing skillfully and driving back into the traffic, and felt that she was not attending a magic school.
"Where are we going?" Harry looked at the street lights receding outside the car window, and his heart was particularly calm.
"Godric's Hollow, it's an hour's drive from London."
Ron pulled out a candy bottle with a cork from under the back seat. He took out a square candy and looked at it. "What will happen to the people at the party?"
"Don't worry, I've already arranged it." Afro snatched the candy from his hand and put it back under the seat: "If you don't want your head to explode, don't move."
"Fred and George should have already moved everyone away. No one will be hurt."
"They're after me," said Harry.
"So we can't go back." Hermione took out the pearl bag she carried with her, pulled out a few clothes from it and threw them in their faces: "We'll just wear them for now."
"Invisible Extension Charm." Cedric smiled and said, "Hermione, you are really smart."
Under the cover of night, a red car was speeding along a country road. In the thick darkness, there seemed to be several ghostly shadows hidden.
A crooked two-story building appeared in their field of vision. Harry stared at the building and suddenly cried out in pain.
Something flashed across his mind, like a bright light across the lake.
Then he felt a rage he had never felt before.
"Harry?" Afro leaned out from the front seat and stroked his forehead which was covered with cold sweat: "Let's go in first!"
Cedric opened the car door and helped the trembling Harry into the room.
The old-fashioned gas lamps emitted a dim light in the long and narrow corridor, and at the end of the corridor stood a tall young man.
"Merlin's Goblet! Were you attacked?" Wood hurried over and helped Cedric support Harry to the living room.
He helped him sit on a fabric sofa and took out a few ice cubes from the iron bucket on the coffee table.
"What do you see?" Aphrodite walked towards Harry, holding a crystal bottle filled with emerald green liquid. She uncorked the bottle and shook it under Harry's nose.
Harry immediately felt his headache and the stinging in his scar improve.
"I saw him searching for something, someone, on an open plain."
"You have to learn to turn off your brain!" Hermione shrieked. "Do you remember..."
"I remember. Thanks for reminding me." Harry turned his back and pretended to look at the decoration of the room.
Wood, who hadn't seen his girlfriend for a long time, was telling Afro how much he missed her. Cedric took Ron and Hermione to his room to change clothes.
"Why do I feel like I've been here before?" Harry walked to the corner of the living room, looked at a table lamp covered with lace cloth, and said to himself.
Afro leaned over and grabbed his arm, placing a key in his palm: "Of course it will be familiar. You were born here, Harry."
For a moment, Harry seemed to see again his father who was firmly protecting his family and his mother who was bravely standing in front of him.
He felt that was his only memory from childhood.
"Afro, how could you..."
"Remember Dumbledore's will? This place used to belong to Dumbledore, and later to your parents."
"But Cedric and Wood don't look like they just arrived." Harry looked at the two people who were more familiar with the room than he, the former owner, and smiled.
"There's more than one key."
After changing out of their formal wear, they returned to the living room. Cedric had already lit the fireplace in the living room, making the whole room warm.
"I have to tell you this before we make any plans." Hermione sat on a single sofa and took out a piece of parchment from her pearl bag.
There is an inverted triangle pattern painted on it.
She described to them what Krum had said about Grindelwald, and the room fell silent.
"Krum wants to say that Luna's father Lovegood is a dark wizard?" Ron repeated loudly in his hoarse voice.
"Grindelwald was defeated by Dumbledore." Harry held his teacup and stared at the pattern on the parchment thoughtfully: "But what does this have to do with Voldemort?"
"I don't know. If I hadn't stopped him, Krum would have rushed up with his wand." Hermione shrugged. This was the first time she saw this pattern today. She had never read these in the book.
This is simply her loss!
"Wand! I remember Krum's wand was made by Gregorovitch!" Harry excitedly punched the pillow, and his raised arm hit Wood's wrist.
The hot tea spilled all over him.
"Yes, Krum was one of the last people to buy Gregorovitch's wand." Wood knew his future opponent very well, including the wand he used.
Harry excitedly grabbed Afro's arm and shook it up and down a few times: "Afro, remember what I told you, he is looking for someone!"
"He's looking for Gregorovitch, a wand maker?" Cedric tilted his head in confusion, thinking about what was so special about this man. "But he retired a few years ago, and no one knows where he went."
The room was silent once again, save for the crackling of the log fire in the fireplace.
Suddenly, there was a bell at the door.
"Our guests have arrived." Afro calmly leaned back into the sofa and tapped his knees casually with his fingers.
