Chapter 387 Competition and Christmas

Ron didn't lose his temper with him. Instead, he was like a deflated ball and completely lost his fighting spirit.

"I quit."

He said it calmly, and then flew to the edge of the field on his broom and went into the locker room.

Harry was at a loss for a moment as he watched Ron abandon his teammates and leave.

"I'll go take a look, you guys continue training." Afro sighed in his heart and said to the team members who were standing in the middle looking at each other in confusion.

Afro walked into the locker room and saw Ron sitting on the bench with his head down, his elbows on his knees, looking extremely depressed.

"Ron?" She sat next to the boy, put one hand on his back and stroked it up and down, "It's okay, you're just not in good shape, let's take a break."

"You don't have to comfort me, Afro." Ron grabbed her hand with his backhand and rubbed the back of her hand with his thumb. "I know you don't have time to find another goalkeeper. I will participate tomorrow."

"No, Ron." Afro saw his frustration and said quickly, "You are not in trouble, but you are not allowed to quit the team!"

Ron, however, refused to listen to Afro and insisted that he would leave the team.

No matter what Afro said, it was of no avail, he insisted on leaving the team.

"He hasn't recovered yet?" While eating, Harry looked at the empty seat and stirred the mashed potatoes on his plate dejectedly.

Afro shook his head. Tomorrow was Ron's first match, and emotions were very important. But he was now full of despair and despair.

"Let's think of a way to help him." Hermione frowned. She was really fed up with the low pressure of the past few days. "Harry, don't you have the Felicity Potion?"

"You're right!" Harry suddenly regained his spirits with a flash of inspiration, "I can use Felicis Felicis!"

"My advice is not to really use it. We just need to give it a hint and don't let Ron become dependent on it," Hermione continued.

"Leave it to me!" Afro patted his chest and said confidently.

The next morning, Ron barely showed his little face and sat at the long table.

"Coffee, pumpkin juice, tea?" Afro asked, holding up a glass teapot.

Ron took two bites of bread and said with a sad face, "Whatever."

Afro poured a glass of milk and handed it to Ron. When he was about to take a sip, Hermione suddenly shouted.

"Don't drink it! I saw you add something!" She pointed at Afulo's left hand and looked at the girl blankly.

"What? I don't have it!" Afro hurriedly put the small bottle into his pocket under Ron's nose.

"You'll get them expelled!" Hermione shouted at Harry in all seriousness. "I can't believe it. Why didn't you keep this?"

Harry lowered his voice and said cheerfully, "But no one saw it."

Ron raised his glass and drank it all in one gulp, then smacked his lips as if to savor the taste.

"It's time, let's go!" Afro stood up briskly and called everyone to walk towards the Quidditch field.

Behind Ron's happy back, Avro, Harry and Hermione high-fived each other and winked.

Half an hour into the game, Ron performed very well and blocked many of the opponent's balls.

The Gryffindor audience cheered, Neville waved the flag quickly, and Hermione screamed loudly.

A streak of golden light flashed across the clear sky.

Harry put down his clapping hands and stared at the Golden Snitch as it leaped up.

Afro swung the bat a few times and hit the Quaffle back hard. The brown ball flew back along the same path it came from with a "ding" sound.

"Gryffindor, ten points!"

There was a roar of applause from their own audience, and Harry turned and sprinted towards them, the Snitch held high in his hand.

The stadium immediately erupted into deafening applause and screams.

Ron controlled the broom and flew to Afro, hugging her warmly, "I did it!"

"Great, little Ronnie!"

"Don't call me that name, Afro." Ron blushed and let her go. He avoided Afro's gaze and greeted Harry instead.

Harry was pushed to the commentary stand by the surrounding players. He broke away from the players with a laugh and rushed over to hug Afro.

"We're having a celebration tonight!"

"Of course, I'll go find the kitchen elves and save some delicious food for us."

After Ron changed his clothes, he clutched his scarf with one hand, looking upset.

"Afro, I want to talk to you." He took a deep breath, as if he had made a great decision. "This morning, you put the Felixir in my cup. This is..."

Afro looked at him with a smug expression on her face, with her hands behind her back and her head tilted to look at him, "What are you talking about? I didn't do that."

"What?! But Slytherin had terrible luck today. They didn't score a single goal!" Ron's eyes widened, trying to find excuses in disbelief.

"I didn't, Ron." A smile spread across Afro's face as she took out the small bottle Harry had given her for safekeeping. It was full of golden liquid and the bottle mouth was still sealed tightly.

"Ron, you can block every ball. It's not only your luck, but also your ability."

Ron stared at her blankly, then suddenly jumped up on the spot, "I don't need any help!"

"Yes, Ron Warrior."

Ron suddenly hugged Afro and gave her a kiss on the mouth that could not be any lighter.

"In addition to your competition skills, you also need to improve other things." Afro patted his arm and joked with a smile.

Snowflakes were flying outside the window, and Hagrid was walking around the castle carrying a Christmas tree covered with snowflakes.

The banisters were decorated with holly and the ceiling was hung with mistletoe. Whenever Harry passed below, he always wanted to take Aphrodite out of class.

So he always chose to use secret passages to bypass the mistletoe.

"Have you decided who to invite?"

Harry was concentrating on the notes that the Half-Blood Prince had written in his textbook. At this moment, he saw a spell - the Upside-Down Bell.

The spell gave him a very familiar feeling, as if he had seen it somewhere.

"I plan to invite Ron." Afro pulled the parchment and continued writing the paper for the ancient runes class.

Harry looked at her writing hands, his mind wandering. They all had invitations to the dinner, and he had no friends he wanted to bring.

If he had to take one he would choose Neville.

"I'll take Luna," Hermione drawled.

"So we'll all be at Slughorn's party?" Ron roughly counted their number and found that his girlfriend, partner and sister would all be there.

"But Harry, you have to be careful recently." Hermione reminded casually, "After the game, a lot of girls have been eyeing you."

"But I have a girlfriend!" Harry shouted loudly, then looked at Afro eagerly.
