Chapter 365 Silent Smoke
"See you at the start of school, Aphrodite."
Afro was held tightly in his arms. She could feel their heartbeats gradually becoming synchronized, and she could feel his warmth where their cheeks were touching.
"Have a nice holiday, Harry."
Harry kissed her forehead lovingly. Dumbledore told him the night before returning to school that only staying at the Dursleys' house could keep him safe.
This was the last protection his mother Lily left him.
On the platform, Sirius stood out among the parents in short-sleeved shirts in his fur coat.
Fred and George looked like two frogs in their new green jackets.
"Honey--"
Molly glared at Fred, who added slowly.
"Aphrodite, how are you?"
Afro stared at their new clothes curiously, "What are these made of?"
"High-grade dragon skin." Percy smiled slightly, took a step forward and hugged Aphrodite with his arms.
Molly noticed the three brothers taking turns hugging Afro, and an absurd and shocking thought came to her mind.
The Dursleys stood far away and did not dare to come forward.
Two years ago, a phone call from a blonde girl nearly cost Vernon his job, and two red-haired boys nearly tore down their home, before they were even able to get the legendary agency to serve them.
Vernon glared at them angrily, but he dared not do anything but stare.
"If we get any clues that Harry was abused, you'll be in trouble!" Sirius still looked at them with a smile.
Penny looked frightened and angry, and kept looking around.
"You're threatening me!" Vernon's voice was so loud that it attracted the attention of passers-by.
Sirius was pleased that Vernon had grasped reality so quickly, and he nodded calmly.
"Goodbye, Harry." Sirius squeezed Harry's shoulders twice with his bony hands.
"Keep in touch, Harry." Mr. and Mrs. Weasley hugged him separately.
Afro held Harry's hand reluctantly and said earnestly and tenderly, "We will meet soon."
They waved goodbye on the sunlit street.
Different from the station full of warmth and love is the foggy Knott Manor.
Voldemort's asymmetrical eyes stared sinisterly at Bella, who was sweating profusely on the ground.
"You have let me down too much."
Bella endured the pain in her soul and crawled on the ground, but her humble posture did not bring back any sympathy from her master.
"Master, please give me another chance."
Rodolphus lowered his head and dared not plead for his wife.
Voldemort stroked the head of the python coiled at his feet and said coldly, "You know I don't like failure."
Bella stared at her twitching fingers in fear, sweat soaking her robes.
Silence spread in the room, and Nott, whose injury had not yet healed, was allowed to sit in a chair.
He watched coldly as his partner was punished by his master, and from time to time he showed an attitude that said "I can obviously complete the task, but my body is too weak."
The sound of footsteps, neither fast nor slow, echoed in the empty corridor, and a dark figure floated in like a shadow.
"You're looking for me?"
Snape looked at Bella who was lying on the ground with confusion, then stared straight at the man on the high seat.
In fact, he can't be called a man.
Voldemort now is like a man whose parts were incorrectly installed at the factory, with no part being the same size.
"Severus, my dear friend." Voldemort's voice crawled up his spine like a cold, poisonous snake.
"I need you to check on Nott."
Snape looked towards Nott's position. The owner of the manor was sitting there with a weak look on his face, as if he was going to die in the next second.
"He was attacked by several powerful spells and his bones were hit by heavy objects." Snape pretended to check him twice and deliberately described his illness as serious.
Even if it's not serious, he can make it serious.
"Just take a few potions."
Snape put Nott's arm down and slammed it down as if he didn't see the table underneath.
Nott, who didn't feel any pain at all, glared at him with bared teeth.
Voldemort pondered for a long time, then opened his half-closed eyelids and looked at the shivering Bella and her husband.
"I'll give you one chance to make amends. Invite Ollivander from Diagon Alley."
Voldemort deliberately emphasized some of the words, and Rodolphus helped Bella up and retreated respectfully.
After everyone in the hall had left, Voldemort turned his attention to the most talented potion maker.
"I know there are legends of several lost dark arts that can cause wizards to change their physical form."
Snape knew what Voldemort wanted to ask and answered it before he could say it.
"Has Lucius Malfoy been found?" Voldemort did not praise Snape's intelligence, nor was he annoyed by his speculation. He only mentioned an unrelated matter.
"Not yet, his son Draco is still at Hogwarts." Snape answered sternly.
Voldemort patted the python at his feet, and Nagini raised the snake's head and twisted its body to crawl down the stairs to the basement.
After a while, a scream was heard from underground.
Snape lowered his eyes with lingering fear, afraid that Voldemort would see something, "Dumbledore is here at Hogwarts, there is no way to harm his students."
"Find a student to open the door of Hogwarts, or let him kill Dumbledore." Voldemort straightened his robes and said nonchalantly.
"The Ministry of Magic has arrested quite a few pure-blood wizards this time."
The moonlight gently covers the earth like a fine gauze.
Molly, who was worried, knocked on both doors.
"Mom, can we talk about it tomorrow?" Fred was sleepy and sat lazily in the chair.
Molly looked at his three children with worry, and her indirect question turned into a direct one.
"How long have you been?"
Percy, Fred and George looked at their mother blankly.
"How long?" Percy asked.
Molly sighed and continued earnestly, "Although I'm not against it, you have to consider the little girl."
Having said that, the three of them finally knew why their mother didn't sleep in the middle of the night.
"We like her, Mother," said George sincerely.
Fred and Percy nodded in agreement.
Molly likes Afro very much and also hopes that she can become closer to her family.
"Have you ever thought about getting married?"
Fred put his feet on the table nonchalantly. "We're not getting married—"
"How could I have an irresponsible ungrateful person like you!" Molly waved her wand in frustration, and countless kitchen utensils hit Fred's head.
The clanging and banging sounds finally woke up their brains.
"Mom, I'm not done yet!" Fred complained unhappily, "I mean there's no way we can marry Afro together, so we have no plans to get married."
Even in the wizarding world there are no laws allowing for multi-person weddings.
"you……"
"Mom, we did this willingly." Percy said to her seriously, "We will take responsibility and bear the consequences. You don't have to worry about us."
"But this will bring you a lot of controversy and discrimination."
"We don't mind," said George.
"Ron wouldn't care," Fred muttered.
"Neither will Harry," Percy added with a smile.
Molly was already confused, why was there something about Ron and Harry here? !
