Chapter 364 Noah's Strangeness
When Noah found Aphrodite, she was staring blankly at the wall.
"Why are you not happy during the holidays?" Noah saw a lost and found list pinned to the bulletin board on the wall, with a request for its return written on it.
The signature is Luna.
Afro didn't answer, she was still thinking about what Blaise said.
Ever since Brace told her what happened that night in Austria, Afro has been surrounded by a feeling of confusion and helplessness.
She never knew that the boys had reached such an agreement privately.
Compared to them, what I like is so little, so little.
Noah's blue, misty eyes looked at Aphrodite, as if he could never see enough.
"If, I mean if." Afro took a deep breath and emphasized it many times before continuing.
"If there is someone who likes you very much, and even gives up a lot of things for you. Compared with him, would you think that your love is insignificant?"
Noah suddenly smiled, with a curved arc at the corner of his mouth.
He wondered if Afro had discovered something and if he could take this opportunity to say something.
"I don't think so." Noah leaned against the wall, standing face to face with Afro, "Everyone has a different understanding of love."
"It's like there's a rope tied between the two of you, and he chooses to keep pulling on the rope and walk towards you, and it feels wonderful."
The fog in Afro's mind seemed to be dispelled by Noah in an instant.
There was a bright light in her eyes, the smile on her face became particularly bright, and her mood was visibly relaxed.
"Thank you, uncle!" Afro cheered and tiptoed twice, her high ponytail swaying in the sun.
It seemed to have entered Noah's heart.
Noah stood up straight. He was a little taller than the girl, so looking at her like that gave him a sense of superiority.
He placed his hand on Aphrodite and snapped his fingers.
"You're welcome, as long as you——"
Suddenly Luna came out from the corner of the corridor with her arms full of books and clothes.
"Why didn't you go to the station?"
"You haven't finished packing yet." Afro looked at the things in her hands and stepped forward to help her share some of the burden. "Have you found everything?"
Luna walked towards the stairs with them, a faint smile on her face, "It's almost there, they will appear eventually."
As they were talking, they had reached the marble staircase leading to the basement and Hufflepuff House.
Luna said goodbye to them as she was going back to the Hufflepuff common room.
"Have a nice holiday, Afro, Devinshi."
"Have a nice day to you too," Aphrodite and Noah said in unison.
Luna looked at them with a strange look, then finally smiled and turned away.
Noah saw that Afro was about to leave, so he quickly called out to her.
"Don't you have anything you want to tell me?"
Afro was completely confused by the question and shook her head subconsciously.
Noah was also completely confused, and he asked his doubts directly.
"So what did you mean by what you said before?"
Afro coughed embarrassedly. She never thought that there would be a day when she would complain for no reason.
Being sentimental is not like his style.
"I suddenly realized that my boyfriends seemed to like me more than I thought."
Although it's a bit embarrassing to say this, the girl's eyes are still exceptionally bright with smile, and you can see at a glance that happiness and love surround her.
Noah's enthusiasm seemed to be extinguished by the water in the black lake, and a bitter taste surged into his heart.
An invisible hand seemed to grasp his heart.
Afro saw that Noah suddenly frowned uncomfortably and thought he was sick.
"I feel like you need to see Madam Pomfrey." She put her hand on the boy's shoulder worriedly, wanting to take him to the infirmary.
Noah pulled his arm out of the girl's hand without leaving a trace and clenched his other hand tightly.
He took a deep breath, trying his best to hide the bitterness in his eyes, and when he spoke, he returned to his usual lazy and casual tone.
"I suddenly remembered that I left some books in the library. I'll leave first."
Afro looked at Noah who didn't even turn around and tilted his head in confusion.
Why did she feel that Noah was strange today?
Noah ran far away to escape, running around the corridor aimlessly, and he didn't know where he was going.
He covered his chest and leaned against the window, breathing heavily.
At that moment, I felt like a fish stranded on the beach, as if I had lost everything.
Noah smiled bitterly and his eyes unconsciously fell to the window. He could always find the girl he was dreaming about at a glance.
But there were already many people around her.
He remembered what his mother said last Christmas.
His mother told him why he was the only one with magical gifts among all her and his father's children.
That's because he is the child of his mother and a wizard, not a real child of the Devins family.
He wondered if his mother told him this because she saw something.
But Noah finally had a legitimate reason to stand by her side.
But how could he tell her how much he loved her?
That day, Noah wrote in his diary, "The person I love is not my lover. Her heart belongs to someone else completely. She is so happy. She is so happy that I love and hate her at the same time. Whenever I see them, it's like I hear the eternal mockery of love..."
On the way home, Afro's thoughts were completely occupied by Noah's final departure.
He looked like he had run into something he couldn't solve.
Could it be that Voldemort has extended an olive branch to him?
Or maybe he won’t find an aunt for himself!
The more Afro thought about it, the more possible it seemed to her. She began to wonder what the chances of success would be if she asked indirectly.
Draco covered his ears and shouted at Hermione in dissatisfaction, "Stop reading!"
Hermione rolled her eyes at him and noticed that Avro was lost in thought. She folded up the newspaper and said, "The Ministry of Magic has begun appointing a new minister. What do you think of Minister Scrimgeour?"
Theodore snorted, "He's a Death Eater."
"How do you know?" Ron glanced at the corridor outside the glass window and whispered.
"When I was a kid, he often came to our house to talk to my father about things."
"Why do they follow Voldemort?" Hermione took out her quill and began to answer the quiz on The Quibbler.
, while casually saying, "For a purely ridiculous theory?"
Blaise, who had just succeeded in taking the position, sat attentively beside Afro and said, shaking his head, "They are indeed a bunch of fools."
Draco was so angry when he saw his smug look on his face that his teeth were itching!
As the train began to slow down near King's Cross Station, Harry felt more reluctant than ever to get off.
He even had a ridiculous idea that if he didn't get off the bus, he could stay with Afro until school started.
