Chapter 356: The Changing Boggart

The next day the hall had been rearranged, the four college tables removed and replaced with many single desks.

Afro opened her paper, glanced at the questions, picked up her quill and started typing quickly.

After finishing the test paper, Afro looked up at the hourglass and saw that there was still about half an hour left.

After checking it over, she made eye contact with the idle Hermione, and they stared at each other in a daze until Professor McGonagall glared at them.

After lunch, the students were divided into several groups and lined up to enter a small room next to the auditorium.

There was a practical exam in the afternoon.

Afro was lucky to be assigned to a relatively advanced group. When passing by Slytherin House, Draco and Theodore encouraged her in a low voice.

Only Blaise made a heart sign to her without any reservation, and was then beaten up by Draco and Theodore.

The examiner, Tofty, was a little old man wearing glasses. He first asked Avro to cast a levitation spell, and then asked her to turn the mouse purple.

All in all, she felt that she had done a good job, and Professor Tofty thought so too.

"Very good, very good." Professor Tofty looked at his notes and then looked at Afro through his glasses.

Ron accidentally turned a plate into a mushroom, Draco accidentally broke a cup when casting a levitation spell, and Harry confused the color change spell with the growth spell, causing the mouse to swell up dramatically.

But they had no time to correct it as they had to review the exam content for the next day.

The next day was the Transfiguration exam, and the third day was the Herbology exam. Except for Harry and Ron who made a small mistake during the exam, everyone did well.

Thursday was the Defense Against the Dark Arts exam, and when expelling the Boggart, Afro no longer saw a cloud of fog this time.

It has a concrete shape.

Simply put, it turned into a cemetery with the names of Dumbledore, Sirius, Fred... written on it, and several scarred teenagers standing next to them.

For a moment, Afro's heart ached as if it were stabbed by needles and she could hardly breathe.

The next second, the Boggart turned into the appearance of Frederic. He was wearing a white shirt with his sleeves rolled up, revealing his arm with the Death Eater mark. He was looking at himself in the mirror crying.

Afro couldn't bear to watch any longer. She quickly raised her wand and shouted in a trembling and hoarse voice, "Funny!"

The Boggart transformed into a kitten with wings and flew out of the window.

Professor Tofty happened to be Avro's examiner. He clapped his hands and shouted, "Very good indeed! Can you cast more advanced spells? This can be used as a bonus."

Aphrodite thought for a moment and cast a perfect Patronus Charm.

Professor Tofty ticked the notes twice and nodded with satisfaction. "I believe you will be able to learn the silent spell soon. You can go, Campbell."

On Friday, Aphrodite and Hermione were going to take an Ancient Runes test, while Ron and Harry stayed in the common room to play chess.

After leaving the examination room, Hermione grabbed Aphrodite and asked her anxiously, "What does ehwaz mean?"

"Cooperation." Afro opened the notebook outside the classroom and pointed out its meaning to Hermione.

Hermione slapped her forehead in regret, "I translated it as defense!"

"It's okay, it's just one mistake." Afro comforted her. Hermione was an excellent student and this would not affect her grades.

“But it’s about passing or failing.”

Ron, who came to take Aphrodite back to the common room, didn't understand Hermione's feelings. He even thought Hermione was making a fuss over nothing.

The second week of exams was much tougher, with Potions, Care of Magical Creatures, Astronomy and Divination all in this week.

What Afro was most worried about was the divination class. Perhaps it was because she didn't really believe in these things from the bottom of her heart, so she didn't have any talent for them.

"Please describe what you see in the crystal ball and give your interpretation." Professor Marchbank said to her in a formal manner, holding up the cardboard.

Afro looked at the blank crystal ball in front of him, hesitated for a long time, and described a scene that did not exist.

Professor Marchbank frowned and listened to her nonsense throughout the whole process. "Don't worry about the child."

"Prophecy is not suitable for everyone, and most of them are inaccurate." She began to comfort Afro, who was obviously getting nervous.

However, Afro really hopes that Professor Marchbank can give her a high score.

A big incident happened during the astronomy practical exam in the evening. Umbridge and several Ministry of Magic officials wanted to take Hagrid away.

Hagrid struggled desperately on the grass and even physically attacked several wizards. Professor McGonagall wanted to help Hagrid, but was hit by several wizards' stunning spells and fell to the ground on her back.

Marchbank and Tofty angrily condemned Umbridge's behavior.

Finally, Hagrid and Fang ran at full speed towards the gate and disappeared into the night.

Every student stared at what was happening below in amazement, and Professor Tofty had to remind them that there were only five minutes left in the exam.

After the exam, the students were still discussing what had just happened. Professor Flitwick called a few students to carry Professor McGonagall into the castle, and Snape hurried over with a few bottles of potions.

Hermione sat down on the armchair trembling, tears about to fall, "Poor Professor McGonagall..."

They were awake until four in the morning, and Aphrodite and Harry sat together listening to their angry condemnation of Umbridge.

Suddenly, Colin runs in with his camera, "You have to see this!"

he shouted, pointing to a picture in his camera.

When everyone gathered around, all they saw was a pitch-black picture with nothing on it.

Everyone laughed at Colin for playing a prank on them, but Afro knew that what Colin said was true.

Because she saw the message Dumbledore left for her in the photo.

"The sun has risen over the dome of Nurmengard."

Nurmengard?

Dumbledore and Grindelwald living together?

However, Afro had no time to pay attention to the old principal's love life. This nonsensical message told her to meet them in Nurmengard at noon.

As for which day?

Afro turned on the magic radio, which was playing the weather forecast.

"Tomorrow will be sunny, 12 to 19 degrees Celsius..."

After the last exam was over at two o'clock in the afternoon, Ron excitedly tore up all the notes he had been reviewing for many days. He jumped up and down in the lounge, imagining his holiday life.

"Did you forget that there will be report cards in July?"

A bucket of cold water poured down Ron's enthusiasm. He thought about his uncertain Potions, Divination, and Transfiguration classes...

I suddenly felt that it would be safer for him to stay in school.
