Chapter 355: Examination in Progress
For the next week, everyone talked about Fred and George's flight to freedom.
Avro concluded that it would soon become a Hogwarts classic.
Fred and George wanted to make sure they weren't forgotten any time soon so they left no instructions, including what to do with the bog in the hallway.
Umbridge and Filch tried many methods to no avail, and they were forced to rope off the place.
As for the students who have to take classes? Filch said he never wanted to row in his life.
But although the Weasleys left, they left behind a lot of troublemakers.
Umbridge's troubles were far from over. Peeves took the twins' parting instructions to heart and kept making trouble.
But Filch couldn't catch Peeves, nor could he catch the mischievous students.
Ron began to worry about receiving a howler letter from Mrs. Weasley, in which he would be blamed for not stopping them.
"It's all my fault anyway." Ron tapped his wand on the small teacup unhappily. "It's strange. How come they have so much gold to rent a shop?"
Harry hesitated for a moment, but finally told the truth, "Because I gave them the prize money from the Triwizard Tournament, and Aphrodite's share as well."
There was a stunned silence.
"I don't need that gold, it's perfect for a joke shop," Afro said calmly.
Ron clapped his hands excitedly, not even caring about the teacup falling to the ground. "Great! Now Mom can't blame me. Can I tell her?"
Avro and Harry nodded indifferently, and it was for the best, otherwise Aunt Molly would suspect that they had stolen the cauldron.
Hermione thought about how Fred and George would often mention going to Diagon Alley during the Easter holidays, and they were probably busy decorating the shop at that time.
Because of Fred and George's sudden departure, Angelina had to start looking for replacement players.
"We won't have any more games this year." Ron missed the chance to block the ball again, but now he found a reason to be optimistic. Anyway, it couldn't get any worse.
"Umbridge has banned all matches, I know! I know!" Angelina threw the Quaffle back angrily and walked around the court.
This year is her last time to participate in Quidditch game, but she meets Umbridge. She will never touch the trophy before leaving school again!
Lee Jordan was not in a good mood either. He stopped explaining the game and just sat aside with his eyes wide open. Harry and Hermione sat in the audience and watched the training below.
Afro was riding on her broom and saw Hagrid hurried over. She lowered her head to say a few words to Harry, then hurried away with Harry and Hermione.
It was not until the end of the training that Hermione ran back with tears on her face.
"So Hagrid has a younger brother?" Afro pretended to be surprised after hearing Hermione's words.
Ron was in complete disbelief. "He's hiding a giant in the Forbidden Forest?"
Hermione hissed, then continued in a low voice, "His name is Grawp, and Hagrid wants us to teach him to talk."
Afro turned a page in the book in her hand and sighed, "If Dumbledore was here, he would definitely keep Grawp. It's a pity that it's Umbridge now. She will directly fire Hagrid."
"So Hagrid wanted us to take care of him if he's gone," Hermione nodded in agreement, frowning in no uncertain terms.
"Is he crazy?" Ron raised his voice unconsciously, causing the students who were reviewing around him to look at him frequently.
Hermione gave him a wistful look. "I think so, but he forced Harry and I to make a promise. We have to go."
"The exam is coming up soon, we can't let you do such a dangerous thing." Ron smoothed his hair, looking worried.
Harry said nothing, just smiled at them.
The exams are finally approaching and the teachers no longer assign homework to the students. The fifth and seventh grade students are extremely busy, with their minds full of exam content.
Afro opened his notebook and wondered sadly more than once why he chose that mission.
Especially the underground trade in schools, it's all about staying awake, refreshing things. However, most of them are fake and the effects they show are very weak.
Fred and George asked Avro to help them sell a lot of potions in this area. Of course, they had ways to avoid Umbridge's inspection.
Their medicine was immediately popular as soon as it entered the market because it was very effective.
"I asked Fred for one and told him to pay half the price up front and the other half after graduation. He actually raised the price!" Ron angrily picked up Eddie's potion and poured it into the toilet.
This thing doesn't work at all!
"Ron, I have more here." Avro took out a few bottles of potion and handed them to him. They were the ones that Fred and George had left for them long ago. "Just the cost price."
Ron looked at her in shock, his eyes wide, "Are you a black marketeer, Afro?"
He felt that at least he and Afro had a close relationship.
"Thank you for the compliment. If you don't want it, forget it." Afro pretended to take back the potion, but Ron grabbed her wrist.
"No~Aphrodite."
In the end, Ron paid the money and got the latest model of refreshing potion.
In the afternoon, Professor McGonagall told the whole class about the exam time and specific requirements.
"The exam lasts for two weeks, with theory in the morning and practical in the afternoon, and astronomy at night."
Exam results will be delivered to students via Owl in July.
For some reason, Afro remembered the most important exam that everyone would take in their previous life, an exam that carried countless youth and dreams.
The Charms theory exam was scheduled for Monday morning, so Harry and Ron spent the weekend cramming, reading their notes and textbooks late into the night.
Hermione was holding a thick copy of "Standard Book of Spells, Level 5" and mumbling to herself while reciting it.
"Aren't you going to read tonight?" Ron was surprised to see Afro packing up early and preparing to go back to the dormitory to sleep.
"I need to get enough sleep before the exam, and I have reviewed it many times."
Afro left the desk without looking back. Hermione thought about it, put down her book and started packing up.
"Are you ready too?" Ron raised his groggy head from his densely packed notebook.
"Go to bed, gentlemen." Afro returned to the desk, yawned, and continued, "I can guarantee that you will have no problems with the exam tomorrow."
Harry and Ron unconfidently opened their textbooks and decided to read for a while.
As they left the Great Hall, they happened to meet the examiner arriving at the school. Professor Marchbank, whom Harry knew, was exchanging impatient pleasantries with Umbridge.
