Chapter 346 The Chosen Snitch
An hour before the training session, Firenze stopped Afro and Harry in the corridor. His face looked very conflicted, and he looked at them with sad eyes.
"Please warn Hagrid for me that his efforts are useless."
"It's no use trying?" Harry repeated blankly.
"He'd better give it up." Firenze nodded, but Harry was still confused and didn't understand what he meant at all.
"Hagrid did me a huge favor recently, and I shouldn't have to, but he needs to come to his senses."
After Firenze finished speaking, he raised his two front hooves and walked away.
Harry looked after him and scratched his head in confusion, "What does he mean?"
He looked at Afro anxiously, and the latter let out a long sigh of melancholy.
"Do you remember Madame Maxime?"
Harry raised half an eyebrow and nodded, "Remember, the headmistress of Beauxbatons, Hagrid liked her a lot."
"True, but Hagrid gave up Madam Maxime for his family."
Harry walked towards the Room of Requirement with Aphrodite, and was stunned for a few minutes when he heard "Hagrid's family".
"Family? Didn't Hagrid's mother already..."
"And other family members."
"Flo, how did you know?"
Afro looked at him with a playful and teasing look in his eyes, "Shh, it's a secret."
Harry calmed down and followed her silently.
Didn't she always have a secret?
He always ignored these things before, but as their relationship became closer, Harry secretly hoped that Afro could open her heart to him.
At least tell him she's not leaving.
A new round of training has begun to practice the Patronus Charm. Afro has to remind everyone again and again that they are in a classroom, and if they encounter something like Dementors, it will be a different matter.
"Don't be a spoilsport, little one." Fred was looking at the silver magpie Patronus flying around Aphrodite. "Look at it, it's really beautiful."
George's patronus is exactly the same as Fred's, with two magpies sticking clinging to a chubby panda, making everything look so cute.
"It doesn't need to be beautiful, as long as it can protect you." Afro stared at the magpie flying up and down and said seriously.
"We need some Boggarts."
Hermione was leaning against a bookshelf, holding a thick copy of The Complete Collection of Spells.
Her patronus was dancing all around her.
Neville was concentrating on his wand, only a thin stream of silver gas emanated from the tip of his wand.
"That's too scary!"
"Neville, try your happiest memory," Avro reminded him.
Neville thought desperately, beads of sweat appearing on his forehead, "I'm thinking."
Cedric and Theodore walked around the room holding parchment, and they confirmed several times that there was one person missing in the room.
"Little Afro." Cedric waved at her quietly, and Afro responded by walking up to him.
"There's one person missing from the room," Theodore said simply.
Afro looked up at the students waving their wands around the room and realized that a Hufflepuff girl was missing.
This was her and Dumbledore's plan to allow Umbridge to discover their secret smoothly.
This would give Dumbledore the opportunity to leave Hogwarts, contact members of the Order of the Phoenix outside, and better fight back against Fudge's conspiracy.
"We need to finish training."
"Why?" Harry and Ron asked in unison.
Before Theodore could say anything, the door to the room was opened and closed.
Dobby tugged at Harry's robes and pulled them out.
"Harry, go! She found out... found out about this..." Dobby said as he pushed the little wizards around him.
Afro picked up Dobby and placed him outside the crowd, "Listen Dobby, you need to get out of here right now and go back to the kitchen."
"No! Dobby, don't go!"
"Dobby, this is an order!" Harry shouted at Dobby sternly, "You're going to say you've never seen us!"
Draco and Blaise stood at the door to maintain order so that the students could leave the room safely.
"Ravenclaw students go out and walk left, then turn right in front of a portrait holding a book..."
George and Fred took the fire point map and quickly screened out the safest and fastest route back to each college.
"Hufflepuff students, turn right and take the stairs in front of the boys' bathroom..."
With their help, the students of the Alliance successfully evacuated the Room of Requirement, and it was their turn next.
"Let's split up and run!" Afuluo suggested first.
Fred and George dragged Ron and Ginny to the left, while Avro pushed Harry to hide in an abandoned classroom on the seventh floor.
"Professor, there's a sound over here!" Harry could tell it was Crabbe's voice, and they seemed to be on this floor as well.
Then there was a series of clacking footsteps, which passed by their door and disappeared.
"They're right here." Filch watched his cat stop in front of a classroom, then turn back and stare at the oak door.
Umbridge walked over happily, raised her wand with a smile on her face and chanted a spell at the wooden door.
The oak door and the wall were blown open, and Avro and Harry saw a triumphant Umbridge in the thick smoke.
"Please explain, Mr. Potter, Miss Campbell." Her arms grasped Harry like a vice, a pleased smile on her face.
"We are studying, you are disturbing us."
Afro calmly pointed at the two books on the table and lied expressionlessly.
She took these two books out of the Room of Requirement.
"Don't lie." Umbridge added in the gentlest tone, "I suspect you are related to a student organization."
"Where's the evidence?" Harry stared back at her calmly.
"In the principal's office."
Umbridge ordered several other Slytherin students to check other places, and she took Aphrodite and Harry to the stone monster in front of the headmaster's office.
The office was crowded with people. Snape had a stern face and was holding a girl with tear marks and pustules on her face.
The densely packed pustules outline the word "snitch".
She could tell from her robes that she was a Hufflepuff.
Minister Fudge stood by the fire, obviously pleased with the scene.
"Don't worry, dear. Just speak out." Umbridge pulled the girl's sleeve from covering her face and pushed her impatiently.
Harry knew this girl, Cedric's classmate - Marietta Edgemore.
She is the informant.
Hermione cast a spell on the list so that the informant could no longer wipe off the pustules.
Marietta wailed, refusing to utter a word, sobbing with her hands covering her mouth.
Snape took the opportunity to give her a bottle of potion, and Marietta fell asleep. But Umbridge didn't care at all, because she had been masterminded.
