People in Hogwarts, holding scripts and systems

Chapter 345 Harry's Old Friend

The next morning, Umbridge appeared in the staff seats in the Great Hall on time, as if nothing had happened yesterday.

"We should do this again, George," Fred mumbled between his potato chunks.

Afro smiled and bit off the pudding on George's fork. "I suggest you try a different prank."

She pointed to Filch in the hallway, who was holding a cat, and Fred and George smiled at each other.

"Then let's add some spice to her office!"

"I agree, Fred!" George took out a few small balls and weighed them in his hands.

Parvati grumbled at them while holding a glass of pumpkin juice.

"It's been a while since we've had Divination class, and I chose to take this exam."

Ever since Umbridge asked Trelawney to stay, Divination class was suspended because there was no professor.

"Dumbledore, I need to remind you that when I appoint a new Divination professor, Trelawney's rooms will be needed."

Dumbledore laughed pleasantly, "Oh, that is not a problem, Madam Umbridge."

Umbridge sat there, staring at Dumbledore, who was still smiling kindly.

The students who heard the noise turned their heads to look at the faculty seats. Dumbledore tapped his goblet and spoke loudly to the students.

"Since the Divination class has been suspended for a long time, I found a new Divination professor."

Umbridge immediately screamed sharply, "Have you found it? I remind you that according to Educational Order No. 22--"

Dumbledore waved his hand and interrupted her, "The Ministry of Magic only has the right to appoint professors when the headmaster cannot find a suitable candidate."

He turned his head towards the door, through which the mist drifted.

“I am very happy to announce our new professor and he is very willing to live in the basement level.”

Afro squinted his eyes and looked into the fog, and a handsome and charming face appeared in the fog.

Harry knew him, he had seen him before in the dark night, with pale blond hair and a human head and limbs on a brown horse.

Dumbledore stood up and welcomed the newcomer with open arms, "Firenze, our new professor."

"I think you'll find him suitable," he said, smiling at the stunned Umbridge.

The arrival of the centaurs caused quite a stir in the auditorium.

Parvati didn't even want the pumpkin juice, and kept muttering, "He is so handsome."

"But he's a centaur," said Hermione flatly.

Parvati said proudly while curling her eyelashes with her wand, "That's because you gave up the Divination class."

Lavender held her hands to her chest with infatuation in her eyes. "Even though he has four legs, he is already handsome and charming."

Afro turned a page of the newspaper, glanced at the new column, and listened to their conversation.

I couldn't help but sigh in my heart, as long as you are handsome, nothing is difficult.

"What will be the first class of Firenze?" Parvati and Lavender gathered together and began to mutter and speculate about what the new Divination class would be like.

Hermione looked at Firenze and Umbridge in the staff seats and sighed sadly, "I have a feeling that Umbridge won't let it go so easily."

"Why? She's bad enough." Ron was wolfing down his omelette.

"Umbridge doesn't like half-humans. She will take revenge." Afro closed the newspaper and said seriously, "Look at her expression."

After breakfast, Afro, Harry and Ron walked towards classroom 11 together.

Classroom No. 11 was the famous abandoned classroom in the school, but when they walked in, Afro wondered if Firenze had moved his entire family in.

The classroom floor turned to moss and trees grew out of it, with lush branches poking through the ceiling and windows, pouring dappled green light into the room.

"Harry, Afro." Firenze stood in the open space and stretched out a hand to them.

Avro and Harry shook his hand in turn.

"Nice to meet you, Professor Firenze." Afro smiled sweetly and looked at him without blinking.

"Me too." Firenze nodded. "We are destined to meet again."

The students in the room were all amazed at Avro and Harry's familiarity with the centaurs, and they leaned against the tree trunks nervously.

Firenze gestured towards them, "Thank you Dumbledore for your consideration in simulating such a realistic forest for us."

"I'm sorry, I can't go back."

Parvati was puzzled. "Why, Professor?"

"My people have expelled me."

The room was silent for a moment, and Ron slowly raised his hand.

"Why did they expel you?"

"Because I work for Dumbledore, and they think I've betrayed my fellow men, because centaurs are not servants, nor pets."

Firenze calmly told them what had happened.

Ten minutes later, he flicked his silver tail and said, “Let’s start the class.

Firenze's divination class was more interesting than Trilawney's. Afro had never taken such a strange class.

They lit sage and sweet mallow in the middle of the classroom, and Firenze asked them to watch the smoke.

Firenze would not get angry with students who could not see it, but would just comfort them by saying that humans were not very good at these things.

Neville enjoyed today's class very much, and for the first time ever, he found the homework not too difficult to do.

The OWL exam is getting closer, and all the students in the fifth grade are under more or less pressure.

Hannah Abbott from Hufflepuff burst into tears during Herbology class and said she was unworthy of taking the exam.

She then received a tranquilizer from Madam Pomfrey.

Afro was obviously more anxious than them because of the task hanging over his head.

Although exam tasks can be selected and accumulated, no one wants to give up the points that are easily accessible.

It was an Italian cannon after all.

"Why did we invent exams?" Afro lay dizzy on the messy table, with a feather pen across her nose.

Cedric kindly lent them his notes and even made a few papers suitable for them to test themselves.

Harry and Ron were pissed off.

"If it weren't for the Alliance motivating me, I really wouldn't want to learn at all!" Ron angrily opened his notebook, wrote today's date at the top, and started chatting.

Hermione gave him a disdainful look as she helped them mark the papers.

"Harry might kick you out if you don't get an A in Defense Against the Dark Arts."

Ron looked at Harry in disbelief, and nodded with difficulty under the threatening gazes of Afro and Hermione.

Ron sighed to the sky.

In fact, Harry also felt proud when he thought about the weekly training. These students made progress because of him, which really made him very happy.

He really wanted to see Umbridge's face when she saw everyone got A's.

It must be hilarious.
