Sirius's joy was contagious, and by Christmas evening the Black house was full of people.

A pile of gifts were placed under the largest Christmas tree in the room, and a name was written on each gift.

"Kids, let's eat first and then open our presents." Molly clapped her hands at the door of the restaurant and invited everyone to have dinner.

"Merry Christmas!" Sirius came out from the kitchen with a big turkey. "Has anyone seen Lupin? The kitchen is almost busy."

Sirius was walking in and out of the kitchen and dining room, muttering about how Lupin disappeared whenever he got to work.

"Dad, can you please tell me why you are not hurt?" Ron sat at the edge of the long table and secretly took a chicken leg and stuffed it into his mouth.

Mr. Weasley counted the people and bent down to take out a few goblets from the cupboard. "Oh, this matter... was helped by Aphrodite..."

Everyone's eyes turned to Afro who was sitting upright on the chair. Facing their puzzled looks, the girl smiled awkwardly.

"Uncle Weasley likes Muggle items, so I told him about the security equipment used by Muggle detectives."

"I think it's more than just popular science," Noah joked with his eyes squinted.

"Well, I gave him a set, with an explosion-proof helmet--"

Before Afro could finish, Mr. Campbell raised his hand to interrupt her, "It just so happened that Arthur wore this suit on the day he was on duty, so he escaped the disaster?"

"You could say that." Arthur raised his glass to salute the Campbell family. "Also, Afro wrote to tell me that the Ministry of Magic will not be very safe recently and asked me to be more careful."

"What's with all that blood?" Lupin popped out from nowhere, just in time to hear Weasley telling a story.

Mr. Weasley looked meaningfully at Fred and George who were talking in a low voice. His resentful eyes could not be ignored.

"It's them!" Mr. Weasley said in an aggrieved tone, "I found the remaining raw materials from the experiment in their room -"

"Dad, you actually brought it with you!" Fred shouted in surprise.

"How is that possible? I was afraid your mother would find out!" Mr. Weasley lowered his voice and whispered to them, "I wanted to take it to the Ministry of Magic to destroy it, but I didn't expect to be attacked. While dodging, it actually leaked!"

Mr. Weasley was describing the scene vividly when Molly came over with the last dish.

"What did I just hear that I can't discover?"

"No, no!" The three Weasleys shook their heads in denial, in unison.

For a moment, the only sounds in the restaurant were the sounds of knives and forks hitting porcelain plates, interspersed with occasional conversations among adults.

"So what is that prop used for?" Harry was full of questions. He moved towards the twins while no one was paying attention.

"It should be the failed nosebleed nougat." George thought for two seconds and answered tentatively.

"This is such a funny and sad story." Afro sighed.

Fred's arm passed over Afro's head and forked the lamb chops on her plate. "I heard that Dad was covered in blood, which scared Fudge and the others."

"After checking it out at St. Gorman's, the healer thought it was a prank by the Ministry of Magic."

Fred, George and Ron laughed, but Hermione looked at them like they were stupid.

Dessert was Christmas pudding and jelly cake.

Afro liked Molly's pudding very much. After she finished her portion, she naturally used a spoon to dig into the pudding in Harry's bowl.

When Mrs. Campbell saw this, the corners of her mouth rose a little, and a hint of ridicule and gossip flashed in her eyes.

Percy saw that Aphrodite really enjoyed the pudding, so he put his portion in front of her.

Lupin was looking at Sirius with a strange look, and Sirius was looking at his godson.

[Sirius: Look, your kindness has been taken away by others!]

[Harry: Huh? Can't eat pudding?]

Sirius, who was very disappointed with his godson, hinted at Harry in various ways, but his godson remained indifferent. Sirius was so angry that he wanted to take the bowl of pudding back for Harry.

The rusty chandelier in the living room was hung with holly and gold and silver ribbons, and magical snowflakes floated in the air.

"What a great harvest this year!" Ron found the pile of wrapping papers with his name on it. He accurately found the gift that Afro gave him.

It was the custom perfume I had promised him a long time ago.

Ron couldn't let it go and looked at it again and again under the light, showing off to the people around him from time to time.

Harry also chose to be the first to open the gift that Aphrodite had given him, which was a beautiful copy of "Practical Defensive Magic" with colorful animated illustrations of the spells.

Harry liked it very much and couldn't wait to turn to the first page and read it.

"Thank you for the magic device set, darling." Fred whispered in her ear. "But I would rather give myself to you."

Afro blushed, then elbowed him in the chest and ran away.

She gave the twins a set of exquisite magic equipment, which included a crucible, a stirring rod, a grinder...

With these they could stop yelling at Avro's cauldron.

Percy found a dark tie in a long box.

"It can be paired with a suit or a shirt." Afro picked up the tie and tried it on Percy. The color suited him very well, making Percy look more mature and stable.

The gifts these boys gave to Afro always made her wonder whether they were discussed by everyone.

All of them together make up a complete outfit, from long skirts to shoes, headdresses to anklets...

"Hermione, thank you for the planner." Afro held up a small notebook, which was constantly speaking.

Today’s things are done today!

Sirius found a calendar from a pile of scattered wrapping papers, and it was signed by Aphrodite.

"Calendar? What does that mean?"

Aphrodite stared at the beautiful calendar, each month was a different magical animal.

“A new year, a new beginning.”

Sirius hung the calendar on the wall thoughtfully with his wand.

Molly distributed Christmas sweaters to everyone and everyone put on new sweaters.

"Where's Kreacher?"

Ron pouted and said reluctantly, "You're not going to prepare a gift for it, are you? It better not be clothes."

"Of course not." Aphrodite and Hermione pulled out a small blanket from under the sofa cushions, "We want to make his room brighter."

Sirius looked around and said to them, "It might be in its lair. Today is Christmas Day..."

He didn't finish his words, but everyone understood what he meant.

Today is Christmas, and Kreacher is alone missing his most loyal mistress and little master Regulus.
