People in Hogwarts, holding scripts and systems
Chapter 335 Christmas Vacation
The morning light shines on the corridor, and some early rising students on campus are already starting their new day.
"Harry, you should clear your mind before going to bed every day. This will make your mind calmer." Afro supported his arm carefully.
Most of Harry's weight was on her, and every step he took felt like walking on cotton.
"I'll try." He paused for a few seconds and continued, "Afro, how did you overcome it?"
Afro touched her nose guiltily. It was because of the system plug-in that Voldemort, not to mention Dumbledore, could not read her thoughts.
Unless she wants the other person to see it.
"Well...try to empty your mind...don't think about anything, just like falling asleep."
Aphrodite tried to describe how to relax the mind, hoping that this would help Harry.
"That sounds simple enough," Harry said with a smile.
They climbed the moving stairs and turned a corner to the Gryffindor common room.
"I just discovered something." Harry pulled Afro's sleeve, pulled her into a secret corner, and spoke to her in a low and mysterious voice.
"Do you remember the gate I always dream about?"
Afro nodded.
"Just now I saw the words on the door."
There was the sound of shoes tapping in the corridor, and Harry and Avro moved closer to the corner.
"It says Department of Mysteries."
"So what Voldemort is looking for is in the Ministry of Magic, the Department of Mysteries?" Avro whispered, pretending to have deduced it herself.
"This name sounds familiar, I think I've seen it somewhere before?"
Harry touched his scar thoughtfully. The scar was particularly painful today. He wondered if it had anything to do with the training in Occlumency.
"Of course. The Daily Prophet just reported that Podmore attempted to break into a door at the Ministry of Magic."
Harry suddenly realized something. He clenched his right fist and smashed it into the palm of his left hand. "This can't be a coincidence. What is the Department of Mysteries?"
Afro shrugged and answered honestly, "I don't know, maybe Ron's dad knows--"
"Let's go ask him."
In the common room, Ron and Hermione had just gotten up and were sorting out the homework that was scattered everywhere the night before.
Afro and Harry found them and told them what they had just discussed.
"I don't know either, but you can ask him in person during the holidays." Ron scratched his head embarrassedly. He had never paid attention to the various departments of the Ministry of Magic.
He had never liked this kind of work; it sounded boring.
This incident did not bother Harry for long, because the third day was the Christmas holiday.
On the first day of the holiday, the Weasley family, including Harry, began to put up Christmas decorations.
Although Mr. Weasley was not hurt at all, Molly still ordered him to sit quietly in his chair.
Sirius happily sang Christmas songs while hanging the magic ball on the Christmas tree.
"Merlin's beer, can you please stop singing!" Molly said to Sirius impatiently, "Not a word is in tune!"
"I'm happy because Harry is spending the holiday with me!"
The sky outside the window was getting whiter and whiter, and the snowflakes gradually covered the first stone steps in front of the house.
The doorbell rang while Molly was busy in the kitchen preparing Christmas dinner. Unable to get out of the room, she shouted upstairs.
"There are guests coming. Who will open the door?"
Harry thought they were other members of the Order of the Phoenix. After opening the door, he was stunned when he saw Afro's smiling face.
There were snowflakes on her head and her little face was red.
"come on in!"
Harry quickly pulled her into the warm room, shook off the snow for her, and helped her take off her hat and scarf...
Not diligent enough.
"Ahem." Mr. Campbell coughed twice unconsciously as he watched Harry touching his little cotton jacket.
"Merry Christmas, Harry." Mrs. Campbell was much gentler and she smiled and hugged the boy.
Mr. Weasley heard the noise and walked into the hallway to see the Campbells standing there.
"Hey, old man, how are you?" Mr. Campbell opened his arms with a smile on his face.
"It couldn't be better."
After a while of greeting, the adults went to the living room to chat, and the children were sent upstairs.
"Why are you here?" Harry asked the question in his heart only after he left his elder's sight.
"I told my dad that I was worried about Uncle Arthur. He might have been seriously injured."
Harry rubbed his hands together with a dumb smile, and when his palms were warm, he gently placed them on her face.
"Uncle believes it?"
"My dad has no say at home."
With a bang, Fred and George appeared in their room.
"I just said it was the baby's voice." Fred pushed Harry away, hugged Aphrodite enthusiastically, and ran around on the ground.
"Open the door!" Ron, Ginny and Noah were banging on the door, as if they were a construction team doing demolition work.
As soon as Noah entered the room, he saw Afro being hugged by two identical boys. Their close appearance made him feel a bitterness in his heart that no one could know.
He lowered his eyelids and sat on the chair as if nothing had happened.
"Tell me about the door you saw." Ginny ignored the young couples in the room and spoke first.
Harry glared at her, but Ginny didn't seem to be embarrassed at all.
"There's nothing much to say, there's only one line of small words on it—"
"Department of Mysteries?"
Percy suddenly appeared in the room, startling everyone.
"Merry Christmas, Aphrodite." Percy dug the girl out of his brother's hands and held her tightly in his arms.
They did not see each other for four months, although they kept in touch during that time.
Percy thought that he could ease his longing by just hugging her, but he didn't expect that once he touched her, he wanted more.
"What exactly is the Department of Mysteries?" Ron asked sincerely. "Dad can't tell you anything."
"The Department of Mysteries is the ninth floor at the bottom of the Ministry of Magic. Their work is top secret and no one knows what they are doing."
Percy thought back to when he worked at the Ministry of Magic and had worked with several colleagues in the Department of Mysteries.
This group of people have strange temperaments and are taciturn.
"It makes me even more curious!" Fred stood up on the bed excitedly, waving the pillowcase as a flag, "I want to go and see."
"Are you crazy? Can you not take us with you?" Ginny said with disgust.
"Honestly, I can't think of anything there that would interest You-Know-Who," Percy frowned in annoyance, but his fingers were entwined around Aphrodite's pinky.
Afro shook his head and said, "There is always some truth."
Harry began to pace, thinking, trying to find more clues in the dream.
In the dream, the voice just kept controlling him and asking him to open the door.
What's behind the door?
I'm not the weapon, Harry thought.
