Ron, the last to run out, was first tripped by Percy, then bumped into Fred, and finally rolled into the mud, yelling angrily, "Damn it! What the hell is going on?"

"Where did this mud puddle come from?" Percy yelled angrily. "I'm putting you all in solitary confinement!"

"He escaped! Wade... Oh, you caught him?" Fred exclaimed in surprise.

"Really?" George struggled to lift his head from under his brother's bottom, shouting, "Be careful, this guy's as clever as a prankster!"

Ginny was the last one to fall into the mud pit. She peered through the doorway and watched her brothers' unfortunate state, giggling with laughter.

"What happened?" Harry asked, puzzled.

Ginny then noticed him, screamed, and darted back inside, disappearing from sight.

Wade had already dealt with the rats. He stuffed the jar into his bag, looked at the Weasleys tangled up on the ground, unable to get up, and covered in mud, and sighed deeply.

Okay... this is Gryffindor...

Vader cleared the mud puddle and used a cleansing spell to remove the mud from several Weasleys, who were finally free from each other and got up from the ground.

Percy pulled his robe back, his hair practically steaming with rage. He glared at the group and said coldly, "You'd better give me a reasonable explanation!"

"Never mind that! Where's Scabbers? Where did you put it?" Ron demanded.

Harry and Hermione looked at each other, completely bewildered.

Fred and George exchanged glances with Wade: "Are you sure it's that guy?"

"Correct."

Wade nodded, then said to the others, "This isn't the place to talk. Let's go to the Umbrella House to explain."

“Okay.” Harry and Hermione were the first to respond, being the onlookers.

In fact, there were already students watching the spectacle.

Percy stood still with a cold face, being pushed forward by the twins.

“After hearing the whole story, if you think we really did something wrong, then go tell Mom,” Fred said smugly. “But I promise you… and little Ronnie, you’ll thank us.”

That mouse was originally Percy's pet. He gave it to Ron after Ron started school.

Percy had originally intended to give the mouse to his youngest sister, Ginny, but the girl couldn't accept keeping a nearly dying mouse as a pet, so he gave it to Ron instead.

Thinking about this, Fred and George couldn't help but feel a chill of fear.

The Ministry of Magic maintains strict control over Animagus and requires all Animagus shapeshifters to register with the Ministry.

They classify concealing one's Animagus identity and living in animal form with other wizards as serious offenses because of many similar heinous incidents that have occurred in the past.

The group of people shoved and jostled each other as they headed towards the umbrella house. On the way, Ron was still angrily saying, "No matter what you want to say, give me back Scabbers first!"

“No, Ronnie,” Fred refused decisively. “It will run away.”

“If you hadn’t chased it, it wouldn’t have run away!” Ron yelled. “You scared it!”

“We’re the ones who are terrified by it, you know?” George said impatiently. “Listen to our reasons before you argue, okay? Stop yelling like a little kid.”

Ron was so angry that his face turned white.

Suddenly, a sharp meow came from the side, and the Weasley twins instinctively cried out, "Filch!"

Immediately after, Filch burst out, panting and glaring at them. He first gave the students a cold look, finding no contraband, then said, "Fighting?"

“No!” Fred put his arm around Percy’s neck and ruffled Ron’s hair with his other hand. “It’s just friendly banter between brothers!”

The two Weasleys, still angry, turned their heads away without saying a word.

“Good afternoon, Mr. Filch,” Wade said. “As you can see, we have not broken any school rules.”

Everyone looked at him.

Good students can lie so convincingly that it sounds like the truth.

If Filch saw the mud pit from before, he'd be so angry he'd put Wade in solitary confinement for a semester, right?

Of course, none of them tried to sabotage Wade in front of Filch.

Wade was the only student who would greet Filch and show him no contempt or disgust.

Although Filch's paranoia made him constantly suspect, for example, whether Wade was trying to lull him into a false sense of security so he could do something bad, his attitude softened somewhat when he saw Wade.

The castle caretaker snorted, "That had to be."

He called to his cat, and Mrs. Lorris darted out from the corner. The two, equally emaciated, continued to wander in the corridor.

Soon after, everyone heard Filch's shouts: "Stop right there, Ward! You've defiled the castle and made a mess of the ground! I'll teach you a lesson..."

“I can’t believe he just let us go like that,” George said incredulously.

"Let's go!" Percy said, suppressing his temper. "I'd like to hear what kind of ridiculous reason you have! Bullying a mouse... you two are getting more and more outrageous!"

“Wade and Hermione are with us too!” Fred argued. “Do they look like the kind of people who would bully mice?”

This is why Percy was willing to patiently go with them; otherwise, the twins' credit score would have been negative in Percy's eyes long ago, and he wouldn't have listened to anything they said and would have just dragged them to complain to the professor.

But Percy wouldn't say that. He reprimanded her with a stern face, "Mr. Gray, Mr. Potter, and Miss Granger, I think you should spend more time studying instead of messing around with certain people!"

The twins were so angry they were spitting fire and tried to kill him with their eyes.

Ron asked Harry in a low voice, "What exactly happened?"

Harry shook his head: "I was just called here by Wade, and I don't know anything."

“I think only Fred and George are with Wade,” Ron said, frowning. “But what do my freckles have to do with them?”

“Yeah…” Harry chimed in, puzzled. “Isn’t it just a mouse?”

……

"This is no ordinary mouse."

Upon arriving at the Umbrella House, Wade looked at the twins and said, "Actually, we suspect he is an Animagus."

Animagus?

Ron certainly knew what Animagus was; Professor McGonagall had just explained it in class a few days ago.

He scoffed, "That's ridiculous. Banban has been living in our house for eleven years. You're saying he's an Animagus?"

He paused, then asked seriously, "Are you mentally ill?"

Harry didn't say anything, but he also found Wade's statement absurd.

Percy frowned at the Weasley twins: "Is this your newest prank? You're using lies to fool Wade, and to fool all of us?"

Wade wasn't a Gryffindor student, and he'd never even seen Scabbers. How could he come up with such an absurd idea?

Percy believed that his brothers must have somehow deceived him.

Percy was furious. He said angrily, "Just you wait! I'm going to tell Mom everything!"

Fred rolled his eyes, and George explained, "We have evidence!"

"What evidence?" Percy pressed.

George: "..."

He knew his brother well; if Percy found out about the Marauder's Map, he would definitely confiscate it and hand it over to the Professor.

This is something George absolutely does not want to see.

George looked at Fred and Wade.

Fred said in a deep voice, “It’s been in our house for eleven years, Percy. No mouse can live that long.”

"Just because of that?" Percy waved his arms and said, "You think you're the only smart one? You think your parents didn't think of that? We give it tonics every year; the potions extend its lifespan!"

“But that’s just a regular tonic, not an elixir of immortality!” Fred said in an even louder voice. “We’ve been saying it’s dying of old age, but it’s still eating just as much and shows no signs of aging at all!”

"That's because... I've been taking very good care of it!" Ron roared. "You guys don't understand! Scabbers is a good mouse!"

“You’re the one who doesn’t understand!” Fred retorted angrily. “We’re not looking for trouble for no reason. This mouse has a name…”

“Yes, its name is Scabbers,” Ron said sarcastically.

“No!” Fred said, “Its name is Peter Pedirou!”

Percy paused, then turned pale: "What did you say?"

Wade waved his hand, interrupting the brothers' argument.

"Arguing is pointless; facts will prove everything."

He waved his wand, and the doors and windows of the Umbrella House slammed shut and locked, leaving not a single crack.

Then Wade took out the jar and poured out the unconscious mouse.

"Banban!"

Ron wanted to bring his mouse back, but Percy grabbed his shoulder.

“Percy?” Ron said.
