Wade stopped in his tracks as he was about to return to the lounge.

Two in one.

There's only one chapter today.

Chapter 144 Catching the Insect Tail

1

Wade doesn't usually pay much attention to the names above other people's heads, because it gives him a sense of disconnect, as if he's in a game world.

Therefore, he has become accustomed to treating his name as part of his hair, and thus ignoring it.

But at that moment, he still glanced at the top of the girl's head.

[Luna Lovegood].

Sure enough it was her.

This girl is quite different from the elfin beauty in the movie. Her appearance is not particularly outstanding, but her unique temperament is very eye-catching.

Luna, wrapped in a blanket, sat up in a daze, looked at Wade, and didn't say anything.

Wade walked over and asked, "Are you a first-year student? It's so late, why aren't you sleeping in your dorm?"

The blonde girl stared at Wade with her bulging eyes for a long time without blinking, giving off a very strange feeling.

After a while, she slowly said, "I lost my book. I came to look for it, but I couldn't find it... The dormitory door is locked."

"Didn't you knock? Or did your roommate not let you in?" Wade asked, frowning.

"What does it matter?"

Luna lay back down and pulled the blanket under her eyes, saying in a very Zen-like manner, "Anyway, the door will still be open tomorrow morning."

With her so open and honest, it would seem like Wade would be meddling in her affairs if he were to intervene.

He then asked, "What's your name? What book did you lose?"

The little girl's gaze pierced through the darkness as she looked at him and asked, "Will you help me find it?"

"If it's not too much trouble."

She seemed lost in thought for a moment before saying, "My name is Luna Lovegood, but some people call me Crazy Girl. I can't find my copy of 'History of Magic'."

Vader waved his wand and said clearly, "Luna's History of Magic, fly here!"

A book suddenly flew out from between the sofa cushions and landed directly in Wade's hands, which he then placed next to the little girl.

"Wow--"

Luna let out a soft gasp, and after a few seconds of silence, as if she had just remembered, she said, "Thank you."

“If you need help, you can ask me for help… I’m Wade Gray, a second-year student.”

After finishing his sentence, Wade picked up his backpack and returned to his dormitory.

Although Luna slept alone in the lounge at night, Wade was not worried about her safety.

The house-elves who clean the house usually work in the lounge at night, and the portraits hanging on the wall and the ghosts that wander around the lounge are not just for show.

……

The next morning, when Wade got up, Luna was no longer on the sofa.

The torrential rain lasted all night and didn't stop until morning. The raindrops pounded against the window, and streams of water flowed down the glass.

The playground was flooded to a depth of a foot, and Hagrid's animals were huddled inside the shed.

Students couldn't play survival games, and many peered out the windows, gazing longingly at the sky, hoping the rain would stop soon.

But it rained for several days in a row.

"If only I knew the weather spell," Michael said dejectedly, engrossed in the game. "I could make the rain stop whenever I wanted."

The weekend had finally arrived, but the heavy rain forced them to stay in the castle, which was incredibly cruel for the young wizards who were addicted to playing games.

Michael was still focused on making a wish, while Harry and Hermione had already gone to the library to look up the spellbook on weather charms.

In the past few days, Wade's truth serum has finally been prepared.

The clear, transparent liquid in the crystal bottle looked just like water.

He took out the Marauder's Map and confirmed Peter Pedirou's location again.

The mouse remained in Ron's dormitory as usual.

He would sometimes go for walks, wandering around the various corners of the castle. When he first couldn't find him on the map, Wade was worried for a while, thinking that Peter was going to cause some big trouble.

Later he discovered that the person was just bored in the dormitory and wanted to go outside for a run.

Even after turning into a mouse, Peter was always hiding from people, students' pet cats, and owls, and he had to sneak around even when taking a walk.

Recently, Ron went to participate in an escape game, and Peter often followed him around. I heard that once Peter even helped Ron scratch his opponent.

At dinner, Ron lavished praise on his mouse at the long table, calling it a "meritorious servant."

Vader had considered trading his new wand or Galon for the rat with Ron. But after much deliberation, he abandoned the idea.

Ron's wand wasn't broken, and although the unicorn's fur was showing, it was still functional. He was indeed short of money, but that didn't necessarily mean he'd be willing to sell the rat for cash.

He was a person with many flaws, but also stubborn and affectionate. Perhaps he regarded the rats as his family and would not easily let them go.

That would only alert Peter Pediru. If that guy escaped from the school and hid in an ordinary city or the mountains, Wade really wouldn't know how to find him.

The operation to capture Peter Pedirou must be flawless.

Perhaps because of the rain, the students stayed in their dormitories and lounges all day, and Peter Pediru hadn't sneaked out for several days either.

Wade put away the map and truth serum, took out the Book of Friends, and sent messages to several people to discuss the next steps before leaving the Room of Requirement.

The corridor was deserted. He went all the way down to the fifth floor before he saw the Weasley twins, whom he had arranged to meet in advance.

Upon seeing him approach, the twins immediately covered their ears with their hands and shouted, "Look, Wade!"

They covered their hands for a while, then suddenly released them, sending a large cloud of white smoke drifting towards the ceiling.

George also cleverly used his fingers to contract and release, creating irregularly shaped round smoke rings that rose up in clusters, like bubbles in water.

Even with the recent torrential rains, the Gryffindor Quidditch team has not stopped training.

To avoid catching a cold, they would drink a small sip of energy drink after training, at the cost of having their ears burning for a while afterward.

Harry was quite embarrassed by this, as Colin Creevey took several photos of him looking like a steam locomotive. But the twins were having a blast, even developing new smoke ring tricks.

"Look, we can do this too!"

Fred covered his ears for a while, then released a large cloud of white smoke, blew a breath from the middle, and turned it into a hollow smoke ring.

George waved his wand, conjuring a bubble, filled it with a smoke ring, and placed it on his head, asking, "Doesn't it look like a pope's coronation?"

"It's so similar, it's exactly like it, hahaha..."

Fred burst into laughter.

Wade was also caught up in their relaxed and cheerful atmosphere and couldn't help but laugh.

After a few jokes, Wade asked, "Fred, George, have you looked at Ron's dorm room with the Marauder's Map?"

Chapter 145 Catching the Insect Tail

"Huh?" Fred paused for a moment. "Why are we looking at Ron's dorm room? Mom didn't tell us to cover him with a blanket at night!"

“Do you know Peter Pediru?” Vader asked again.

George thought for a moment and asked, "Who is that?"

“Come with me,” Wade said.

The group moved to an empty classroom, where Wade spread out the Marauder's Map and said, "You can take a look for yourselves."

The twins exchanged a glance, and George tapped the parchment with his wand, saying, "I solemnly swear that I will not do anything good!"

As the map unfolded layer by layer, the Weasleys immediately focused their attention on the Gryffindor common room, carefully examining the tiny letters on it.

This is something they would never have paid attention to before.

The two quickly found their younger siblings—Ron and Ginny were in the common room, along with several familiar names.

Then we arrived at the dormitory.

Neville Longbottom was in his dorm room, and then there was Peter Pediru…

Fred frowned and asked, "Who is this guy? What's he doing in Ron's dorm?"

“It wasn’t just in Ron’s dorm,” Wade added. “At night, their dark spots were very close together, and I think he was probably in Ron’s bed.”

The twins' pupils dilated in shock as they stared at each other, speechless for a long time.

“Peter Pediru…that sounds like a man’s name?” George said, his face pale.

"Haha... Little Ronnie found a boyfriend?" Fred said dryly.
