"What?!" Theresa was stunned.

"Look, I finally got to chat with Mom, and you suddenly interrupted me. Can't I even complain a little?" Kiana said, then shrank back.

"You, you, you!" Theresa's hand trembled as she pointed at Kiana.

"Alright, Kiana, stop upsetting the headmistress." Mei gently patted Kiana's head.

Kiana, searching for the key, arrives at a room resembling a prison cell. On the dirty and messy bedding, she finds a diary. The diary records a child being separated from his mother and taken to the Tower of Babel to be used as a human experiment. Several pages in the middle have been torn out, but the last page is missing.

“Ich☆liebe☆dich,” Kiana murmured.

This is the magic spell recorded in the diary that can grant all wishes and allow me to see my mother again.

Kiana realized what was happening and was incredibly surprised. She clearly couldn't understand the sentence at all, but she inexplicably read it aloud.

"Kiana, have you found anything here?" Cecilia walked over at that moment.

Kiana handed the diary she had found to Cecilia.

"This is Sirin's diary?" Kiana recognized it.

"That wretched paramecium, how dare she say my handwriting is ugly!" Sirin gritted her teeth and asked Bella, "Bella, is my handwriting really that ugly?"

Bella shook her head vigorously and said, "It's not ugly, it's just that there are some things I don't understand."

Sirin turned to stone.

"Pfft." Ling, who was sitting next to Bella, couldn't help but laugh.

“You smiled.” Celine stared at him.

"I didn't." Ling suddenly became serious.

“You were just laughing at me!” Sirin exclaimed.

In the back row, May leaned on Kevin's shoulder and analyzed, "This virtual space is probably not just something that Bishop Otto is causing trouble for, after all, he doesn't know the phrase 'Ich liebe dich'."

"Mei, you mean, Sirin?" Kevin wasn't stupid; with Mei's explicit suggestion, he naturally connected it to the Second Herrscher, Sirin.

“Yes, that’s right. Perhaps Bishop Otto is plotting something, and Sirin probably hasn’t been idle either, which is why he said things have developed beyond his expectations.” Mei frowned.

"You still firmly believe that the core of the Herrscher of the Void is inside Kiana?" Mebius has also sensed something is wrong, but given her personality, how could she possibly admit to Mei that her analysis was wrong?

"Professor Möbius, we'll see."

After reading the diary, Cecilia frowned slightly. She had never heard of the Tower of Babylon being a medical institution.

Kiana became curious about the identity and experiences of the diary's owner. Suddenly, her head felt like it was about to explode, and she experienced a sharp pain. The surrounding scenery kept changing within the Tower of Babel and the imaginary space.

Then, the screen went black.

When the lights came on again, Kiana was lying on Cecilia's lap. The camera was from Kiana's perspective, showing Cecilia's worried expression as she gently stroked Kiana's forehead.

"Are you awake, Kiana?" Cecilia looked at Kiana with concern.

Cecilia told Kiana that she had fainted after reading the diary.

Kiana looked dejected. This diary reminded her of her past; she too had been separated from her mother at a young age, so she could understand the diary's author's feelings—a sense of emptiness and helplessness...

Cecilia gently embraced Kiana, her voice tender: "Poor child, don't be shy, Kiana, rest in my arms for a while."

Kiana hugged Cecilia, experiencing the warmth of a mother for the first time.

"The deeper you get into this bubble, the more you'll be hurt when it bursts," Su shook his head.

"It's over, Kiana has completely come to believe that the virtual world is the real world."

“Mom…” Yaqing stared blankly at the movie. His memories of his mother were very few, and he couldn’t recall her face, but he felt that his mother should look like his sister.

"If you want to cry, I can lend you a shoulder to lean on." Shi Yu Qi Luo patted Ya Qing.

"Are you kidding me?" Yaqing pushed Shiyu Qiluo away in annoyance.

"Hmph, ungrateful wretch." Shi Yu Qi Luo turned her head away.

Snake, sitting in the back, tore off another headband.

This aroused the curiosity of a certain pink fairy.

After Kiana rested for a while, she started searching for the electronic key again. When she found a room that looked like a guard's room, she found the electronic key on the table, along with a piece of paper that had been torn from the diary.

"My body was getting increasingly painful, and the doctor said I needed to do some tests. He took me to a room with lots of TVs."

"I love watching TV, especially being held by my mom and lying on the comfortable sofa while watching it."

"But the TV here only shows weird numbers, it's so boring, and...it hurts so much...Mom..."

Kiana felt deep sympathy for the diarist's plight. At the same time, she remembered that she had never watched television with her mother. Her thoughts wandered, and she even wondered if there was a television inside the Tower of Babel.

“Ich☆liebe☆dich”

Kiana instinctively uttered the incantation, but quickly shook her head. She really wanted to lie on the soft sofa with her mother and watch TV, and she also wanted to play games with her.

“Every time I see what these researchers are doing, I get so angry.” Pado clenched her fists.

"Oh no, I feel a knife!"

"Kevin, you're only just realizing it?" Mei was speechless.

"I feel so sorry for Kiana. All she can think of is playing games with her mother," Alicia said with heartache.

At that moment, it seemed as if all the moviegoers around the world could see Ya Qing, who was squatting on the ground, sharpening a long knife until it gleamed, smiling at them, waiting for them to offer their necks to the sharp blade.

Kiana, having found the electronic key and returned to the elevator, did not see Cecilia. In order to get Cecilia's praise, she decided to open the elevator without permission.

When Kiana inserted the card-shaped electronic key, the computer operated normally at first, but when it detected a lack of core permissions, an alarm sounded.

The countdown began, and the entire system was about to be locked down. At this moment, Kiana panicked and frantically pressed buttons on the computer.

I don't know what button Kiana pressed, but the computer detected core permissions, and a game launch screen appeared on the computer screen.

"This is... a game?" Kiana was bewildered.

Just then, Cecilia returned, saw the game screen on the computer, and began to introduce the game to Kiana.

The game is called *Kallen Fantasy III*, a role-playing game about three characters: Kallen, the Valkyrie of Light; Otto, Kallen's lover; and their pet Houmu, as they adventure across the world, defeating an Eastern fox spirit who uses dark forces to dominate the continent. Ultimately, Kallen and Otto achieve a happy ending.

"Ugh... such an old-fashioned game," Kiana remarked. "Just looking at the story makes me lose all desire to continue playing."

"It feels like only President Otto could really enjoy this game."

"Eastern Fox Spirit..." Sakura didn't know why she always felt that the Eastern Fox Spirit was referring to her, but then she shook her head, indicating that it was impossible, as she and Karen were best friends.

“Wait a minute.” Su suddenly spoke up: “Have you noticed? Every time Kiana recites that spell, what she thinks will come true.”

"Really? We didn't really notice."

"Kiana first recited the spell when she saw the diary's owner wanting to see her mother, so Cecilia came to her side after she finished reciting the spell."

"Kiana chanted the spell a second time because she wanted Cecilia to hug her, and that happened very quickly. She chanted the spell a third time because she wanted to play a game with Cecilia. But now the elevator's control computer has become a game that needs to be completed to start. Doesn't that seem a bit out of place?"

"Brother Su, now that you mention it, it's true." Pado thought about it carefully, then suddenly seemed to remember something: "If I say it again, can my wish be granted?"

"I don't know, let's give it a try," Su Hong said.

Cecilia wasn't surprised at all that Otto used games as a way to control the computer; she accepted it easily and confidently stated, "By the way, I'm ranked number one."

Previously, Bishop Otto was always at the top of the leaderboard, but Cecilia was permanently banned shortly after surpassing him.

"Your Excellency is so narrow-minded!" Kiana said, defending her mother.

Cecilia suggested that Kiana try the game as well.

Surprisingly, Kiana is incredibly easy to play. I cleared the level very quickly, and the elevator even restarted.

Chapter Ninety-Eight: The Real Destiny Foundation

After the elevator started moving, Kiana was still in a daze about everything that was happening, but she quickly remembered the magic incantation and couldn't believe it was actually true.

The two arrived at the control room. Cecilia told Kiana to stay put while she went to open the path to the upper level. Kiana's only thought was to stay with Cecilia, no matter how long it took.

After Cecilia left, Kiana took out the diary again, and she was overjoyed, thinking that since the magic spell was so impressive, what wish should she make next?

Driven by a strange impulse, Kiana, curious about what would happen to the diary's owner, turned on the computer in the control room to investigate the data. She unexpectedly discovered a lot of cruel experimental data, with each living human life treated like a cold number.

"Furthermore, Subject 51 has shown good adaptability and has been transferred to a safe house for observation. Based on the observation results, she will be transferred to another laboratory for further experiments."

"{A forged death notice has been issued to the family of Subject 51, and the family has not yet suspected anything. Maintain surveillance on them, and if necessary, take strong measures."}

"Are you crazy?!"

The script that Shigure Kira saw did not include this scene. It only described Kiana seeing Destiny's past actions on the computer. Even in the first movie, it did not dare to explicitly state what the Tower of Babel had done.

But what Yaqing wrote now is that he treats human life as worthless, and in order to cover up his crimes, he burned the bodies of the deceased on the spot to forge death certificates. If he is discovered, he will take strong measures against the family members.

This can no longer be considered as smearing fate; it's downright defamation.

"I'm not crazy." Ya Qing's voice was calm as she glanced at the agitated Shi Yu Qi Luo. "Shi Yu Qi Luo, how can you be so sure that the researchers from Destiny didn't do these things?"

"what?!"

“I don’t really want to shatter your beautiful illusions about destiny, but that’s just how it is.”

Yaqing explained in a cold tone.
