A mournful sound came from behind. You should know that Kumārajīva was not alone. He also had disciples and had close ties with the royal family of Turpan.

But now that Kumārajīva is dead, naturally some people are heartbroken.

"You wicked monk, prepare to die!"

Several monks rushed forward to kill Li Xiuyuan, but their efforts were in vain. Even Kumārajīva had been killed, let alone these people.

call!

Li Xiuyuan drew a semicircle with his left hand and pushed out with his right palm. The palm force burst forth, and the golden dragon phantom swept several feet away, causing dozens of people to fall to the ground.

…………

Half an hour later, Li Xiuyuan looked at the several secret manuals in his hand, which were the Dragon Elephant Prajna Skill, the Supreme Yoga Tantra, and the Flame Blade.

These are the secret manuals that he finds acceptable within the Nyingma school.

Unfortunately, Li Xiuyuan was naturally not lacking in cultivation skills, after all, the Great Sun Tathagata Sutra was the most profound Dharma in Buddhism.

Therefore, the Dragon Elephant Prajna Skill and the Highest Yoga Tantra are not of much use to him; only the Flaming Blade is of any use.

As for the Nyingma sect members, almost all of them were killed by Li Xiuyuan. The ordinary people, upon seeing the two sides fighting, had long since fled and disappeared.

Li Xiuyuan lived up to his title of "evil monk," directly destroying the temple and gaining a considerable number of sin points, totaling nearly a thousand.

In addition, Li Xiuyuan has accumulated quite a few sin points since leaving the Valley of Eternal Spring, and now has a total of 1250 points.

However, although Li Xiuyuan has committed many crimes, it would be better for him to change his identity if he were to do such things in the future.

Furthermore, Li Xiuyuan needs to exchange for their sharp sword techniques, otherwise the Divine Demon Sword will be useless.

Got it!

After thinking for a long time, Li Xiuyuan suddenly slapped his forehead and finally selected the Thirteen Deadly Swords from the Sinful Shop.

Thirteen Deadly Swords: This is a pure killing sword technique, with each sword strike capable of killing, each one stronger and more terrifying than the last.

In this chaotic world of martial arts figures, there is an even more famous swordsman who created the fifteenth sword that represents death. This person is Yan Shisan.

Although he revived his demonic sword, the imperfect fifteenth sword technique made it impossible to control perfectly. Since it required taking lives, Yan Shisan chose to end his own life, thus making this death sword technique disappear.

However, Li Xiuyuan was naturally no less capable than others, and he was confident that he could comprehend his own fifteenth or even sixteenth sword from the Thirteen Deadly Swords. Moreover, with his cultivation level, he could naturally control it perfectly.

Thirteen Deadly Swords:

The Demon Lord, residing in Li Xiuyuan's lower dantian, sat atop the Black Lotus of Annihilation, his fingers constantly manipulating the sword. After a long while, he finally gained control of it.

However, Li Xiuyuan still lacks some training before he can create his own fourteenth sword technique; it's only a matter of time.

Chapter 18 Accepting Bodhidharma as a Disciple

Under the blazing sun, the sand radiates heat, and looking up, it seems as if the yellow sand beneath your feet is shrouded in a faint, lingering heat wave. Camel footprints leave their marks in the desert.

Li Xiuyuan rode that white horse. If he hadn't taken out enough water and resources from the system space, the white horse would probably have died long ago!

In addition, Li Xiuyuan would occasionally inject his true energy into the horse, thereby changing its physique, which enabled it to survive in the desert.

Li Xiuyuan had already been deep in the desert for three days and should be able to come out soon.

This world is complex; ahead lies a country, behind lies a desert, and we have no idea where it leads. Fortunately, we haven't encountered any crises along the way.

Li Xiuyuan was also walking aimlessly, taking one step at a time.

Tread!

Footsteps approached, and a monk in a gray robe was seen walking slowly ahead.

what!

Upon seeing this person, Li Xiuyuan was surprised. This person was actually a master of the Great Perfection of the Acquired Realm, even surpassing Kumārajīva.

His monk's robe was tattered and torn, clearly indicating that he had not bathed for many days.

This man was of medium build, with bronze skin and dry lips, indicating that he had not eaten for many days and looked quite wretched.

The monk was even more surprised than Li Xiuyuan when he heard the sound of horses' hooves coming from behind. He knew that there were probably very few people riding horses in the desert!

Because horses are not as easy to raise as camels in the desert, people usually ride camels.

The monk spoke up, "Amitabha! This humble monk is Bodhidharma. Our meeting is predestined. May I ask what your Dharma name is, Master?"

what!

Bodhidharma?

Li Xiuyuan was shocked. Could it really be that person?

Li Xiuyuan pondered for a moment and said, "Indeed, meeting is fate. Since the monk sees a connection between us, why not become my disciple and I will teach you Mahayana Buddhism?"

As he spoke, his face was dignified, and his whole being exuded the aura of a high monk, like a spring breeze in summer, making people feel very comfortable.

Although Bodhidharma was an ascetic monk, unlike Kumārajīva who had spent many years in the secular world, he was unwilling when others told him on their first meeting that they wanted to take him as a disciple and teach him the Dharma.

Seeing Bodhidharma deep in thought, Li Xiuyuan knew he was considering something. But Bodhidharma was indeed an outstanding person. Although he was currently at the acquired level, if he could be taken under his wing, he would surely play a great role in the future.

After thinking of this, Li Xiuyuan waved his hand and a golden lotus platform flew out from his body. He sat on the lotus platform and began to circulate the Great Sun Tathagata Sutra. The image of Shakyamuni appeared on his back.

Moreover, this is a Dharma image formed from Li Xiuyuan's own template. After the golden Buddha statue appeared, it was accompanied by the chanting of Buddhist sounds, illuminating the entire world.

The golden light was so intense that one dared not look directly at it; golden petals drifted down, a scene of beauty otherworldly beauty.

Li Xiuyuan said, "This humble monk is Daoji, the reincarnation of the Dragon-Subduing Venerable. Would you be willing to become his disciple?"

As he spoke, he put his palms together in a gesture.

Bodhidharma stared blankly at the monk on the golden lotus platform, and finally said respectfully, "Disciple is willing to become your disciple!"

As he spoke, he bent down and knelt on the ground, kowtowing three times.

Upon seeing this, Li Xiuyuan pondered for a moment and then said, "Get up!"

As he spoke, he put away the golden lotus platform and let out a long sigh of relief; this whole display of bravado was exhausting.

That golden lotus platform was actually a disguise of the Black Lotus of Annihilation. Li Xiuyuan used the Great Sun Tathagata Sutra to activate it, barely managing to deceive the Bodhidharma in front of him.

Of course, if it had taken any longer, Li Xiuyuan would have been exposed. But he didn't expect that the identity of the Dragon-Subduing Venerable would be so useful. He would have a way to deal with ordinary monks in the future.

Once the identity of the Dragon-Subduing Venerable is revealed, these people will probably kneel and worship him as if he were Buddha.

Li Xiuyuan's acceptance of Bodhidharma as his disciple was sincere. The path of cultivation requires competing for destiny, and Bodhidharma would naturally have a great reputation in the secular world in the future.

With Li Xiuyuan's guidance, becoming an Arhat wouldn't be difficult; he just needed to build his own team.

Li Xiuyuan said calmly, "I will pass on the Great Sun Tathagata True Scripture to you. If you can meet my requirements in the future, you can become my true disciple."

As he spoke, he pointed his index finger out, and a beam of golden light entered Bodhidharma's mind.

After a while, Bodhidharma finally opened his eyes. A new memory appeared in his mind, which was the method of operating the Mahavairocana Sutra.

This is a visualization of Shakyamuni by Li Xiuyuan. If one has great perseverance and great opportunity, becoming a Buddha is by no means difficult.

However, its power is greatly reduced compared to the cultivation method practiced by Li Xiuyuan.

Moreover, this technique involves visualizing Li Xiuyuan, and Bodhidharma appears to be his follower, utterly loyal to him.

Bodhidharma replied, "Yes, Master!"

He clasped his hands together and bowed respectfully, not daring to show any dissatisfaction, after all, the other party had given him a path to heaven.

Li Xiuyuan nodded, thinking to himself that if it really was that Bodhidharma, he would have hit the jackpot.

In the future, it will also greatly enhance the fortune of Buddhism. After all, Bodhidharma belongs to his lineage.

Chapter 19 Yi Jin Xi Sui

Li Xiuyuan pondered for a moment and said, "Bodhidharma, I see that you are full of energy, it seems that you have practiced martial arts!"

As he spoke, he stared intently at him, as if trying to see right through him.

Bodhidharma felt as if all his secrets had been exposed, and then, thinking of Daoji's identity, he replied, "Master, you are wise. This disciple has indeed practiced some rudimentary methods."

As he spoke, he clasped his hands in a gesture of respect.

Li Xiuyuan said calmly, "Oh, may I ask what it is?"

At this time, Bodhidharma was not like later generations, who were proficient in the seventy-two unique skills of Shaolin Temple. His martial arts skills were not weak, but compared with the Great Sun Tathagata Sutra, they were naturally rudimentary.

Bodhidharma replied, "Yes, Master!"

The method I practice is called Yi Jin Jing or Xi Sui Jing, which I derived from Buddhist scriptures.

I noticed that monks often sit in meditation for long periods of time, resulting in an imbalance in their health. Therefore, I created a set of exercises to help monks maintain their physical and mental well-being.

......"

As he spoke, he explained the cultivation methods of the Yi Jin Jing and Xi Sui Jing.

As for whether Li Xiuyuan would try to learn his techniques, Bodhidharma didn't think it was possible. After all, with the Great Sun Tathagata Sutra, the Yi Jin Jing and Xi Sui Jing were practically dispensable.

Moreover, the Venerable Dragon Subduer is the head of the Eighteen Arhats, so why would he need to do this?

…………

After seeing Bodhidharma recite the mental cultivation manual, Li Xiuyuan thought to himself, "As expected, this person is Bodhidharma, the founder of Shaolin Temple. The Yi Jin Jing and Xi Sui Jing he practiced are quite powerful even in the martial arts world."

However, compared to cultivators, this is merely the beginning. Yet, this person was able to comprehend this cultivation method solely from Buddhist scriptures through great perseverance, demonstrating exceptional talent.
