This is true.

Gretchen's mind was even more confused.

How the hell did it turn out like this?

Whistler, the mole, was taken out not long ago!

Now look what's happened, I've become the mole myself?

“How are you going to get Sera? That’s not going to be easy,” Gretchen asked after a moment of silence, taking a deep breath.

“I have my own plans, don’t worry, Sera won’t escape,” Ding Ze said with a smile. Then, after thinking for a moment, he added, “In fact, now that things have come to this point, I can tell you something.”

Gretchen immediately perked up her ears upon hearing this, "Go on, tell me."

"Remember that bird atlas? The lines and text on it, when put together, form the blueprints for the room in the company's basement where Sera was kept, and the surrounding buildings."

Gretchen: "!!!!"

Damn it, Whistler, that traitor, even managed to get his hands on the blueprints for that kind of place.

"So?" Gretchen had been shocked countless times and was almost numb with exhaustion before asking.

“You can think of the room with Sera as a very small prison,” Ding Ze replied. “Michael is a construction engineer and a genius at escaping prisons. He will steal Sera for me.”

"Of course, if he fails to steal it, it would be even simpler for the company to move Sera. I could just take some men and rob Sera on the way."

"In fact, this is the main reason I kept you in the company. If the company needs to transfer Sera, you just need to tell me the timeline, and then I'll handle Sera." (End of Chapter)

Chapter 226 Deadline

Gretchen was speechless.

What can be said?

Ding Ze, this murderer, had planned everything.

What can I do?

First, fool Ding Ze so he can leave Panama alive, then report Ding Ze's plan to General Kranz.

That won't work.

Given General Kranz's character, let's not even talk about what will happen later; just consider the possibility that the lost card might not be retrieved...

Ha ha.

Gretchen gave a wry smile. "It seems I have no other choice?"

Ding Ze smiled and did not answer the question. Instead, he said, "Going with the flow is the smart thing to do. You don't have much loyalty to the company anyway, so why bother with these things?"

"In fact, even if you are very loyal to the company, so what?"

"It would be easy for me to destroy the company, it wouldn't take much effort at all, but the company has value, and what I want is to take it under my wing, not destroy it, so I'm willing to go through all that trouble."

"What I mean is, the company's fate was sealed long ago. I think you're a smart person, so think about it carefully."

Having said that in one breath, Ding Ze stood up and started to leave. "I suggest you stay here for a while. Of course, if you want to leave, my men won't stop you."

"What should I tell Kranz?" Gretchen asked hurriedly as Ding Ze was about to leave.

"You're so smart, you'll know what to say." Ding Ze walked away without looking back.

After leaving the cruise ship, Ding Ze got into his car and returned to the hotel.

Panama is still in chaos, and for now, it's not a good day for him to cause any more trouble. He should just go back to the hotel and get a good night's sleep.

By tomorrow, Panama will probably calm down, and then we can start working on getting Comrade Michael out.

Once that's done, I can leave this awful place.

Time passes slowly.

On a cruise ship.

Gretchen finally made up her mind and called General Cranz, lying that Whistler was injured and unconscious, but not in mortal danger. She said she would take Whistler with her and hide there for the time being, and would leave Panama as soon as possible.

Gretchen was a long-time employee of the company and knew Kranz very well, so it wasn't difficult for her to fool him.

General Kranz currently has no reason to doubt Gretchen.

And so, the matter of Whistler's death was temporarily settled.

After hanging up the phone, Gretchen sighed helplessly, still unable to understand how things had turned out this way.

Before you know it, a new day has begun.

Of the prisoners who escaped from Sona prison, all but Whistler were either killed or recaptured and returned to Sona prison.

As for the mysterious sniper, and Gretchen, who killed many soldiers along the way and rescued Whistler... there is still no news.

The Panamanian military is still searching, but the effort has been much less intense, and there is no longer a city-wide manhunt like yesterday.

Ding Ze woke up naturally after a good night's sleep, washed up, and then found the Will Anderson mask he had used before. He put it on, transformed back into Will Anderson, lit a cigarette, and walked out while calling Lincoln.

The call goes through in seconds.

"Lincoln, have you been to Sona Prison? What's the situation there now?" Ding Ze asked directly without wasting any words.

After such a major incident yesterday, Lincoln's mind was buzzing all day. He was extremely worried about Michael's safety, and this morning he naturally went to Sona Prison as soon as possible to find out if Michael was dead or alive.

Sona prison has undergone tremendous changes; the previous staff all died, so visits are not allowed today.

However, Lincoln learned from the new management that Michael had not escaped yesterday and was still alive and well.

Lincoln did not hide anything and explained the situation in detail.

After listening, Ding Ze exhaled a puff of smoke, and instead of speaking immediately, he began to think.

Has Sona Prison temporarily suspended visits?

While I can understand why the new warden made this decision, it's taking up a lot of time.

When can we visit?

Ding Ze wants to go back to Miami. Panama is a hellish place; he's fed up with it.

So, what should we do?

Tonight, let's storm in, get Michael out, and then quickly leave?

Should we wait until visitation resumes?

“Lincoln, I’m going home. It’s too boring here. I’ll wait another day and see what happens tomorrow,” Ding Ze said after thinking for a while. “If I still can’t visit tomorrow, I’ll have to take action.”

Geddon.

Lincoln was still terrified by what happened yesterday and couldn't imagine the scene of countless deaths and injuries in Panama if Ding Ze were to take action.

“Mr. Ding…” Lincoln tried to persuade him.

Ding Ze didn't want to listen to Lincoln's rambling, so he hung up the phone directly.

Toot toot~~~

Lincoln was helpless, but there was nothing he could do.

Ding Ze put away his phone and walked out of the hotel.

Since we can't visit or take a stroll through Sona prison, there's nothing special to do today.

In other words, they have a lot of free time.

Since he had plenty of free time, Ding Ze decided to go on a cruise ship to see Gretchen and kill some time.

On a cruise ship.

After a good night's sleep, Gretchen, who is known for her strong mental fortitude, has largely returned to her usual calm and composed self.

Having already made the decision to join Dongfeng Security and work for Ding Ze, Gretchen would no longer think about anything meaningless.

When Gretchen saw Ding Ze appear in front of her so casually, she didn't recognize him at first glance.

But Gretchen immediately recognized it and couldn't help but be surprised, "Whose face is this?"

“I’m Will Anderson, nice to meet you, Gretchen,” Ding Ze said jokingly, since he had nothing better to do.

Gretchen's eyebrows twitched slightly, her eyes widened, and she looked closely at Ding Ze's face. After a short while, she was even more surprised, "How did he do that? It's really hard to find any flaws."

“This is my secret method,” Ding Ze smiled. “Sorry, I can’t tell you.”

“It’s truly an amazing method,” Gretchen said, unconcerned. “No wonder the FBI can’t catch you.”

The two chatted for a while.

"What's the latest date you need to complete that transaction you arranged?" Ding Ze asked.

Gretchen raised an eyebrow. "You didn't know? I thought you knew everything."

"I don't like remembering these details," Ding Ze casually made up.

Gretchen wasn't sure if Ding Ze was telling the truth. After a moment's thought, she decided not to argue and replied, "At the latest, five days later, otherwise the other party will cancel the deal."

“Five days? That’s plenty of time. We’ll leave as early as tomorrow and as late as the day after tomorrow,” Ding Ze said.

Upon hearing this, Gretchen immediately guessed the reason: "Michael was taken back to Sona Prison?"
