Chapter 47 The Male Wizard's Hairy Heart
Harry and Ron returned to the entrance of the common room, looking dejected.

Since the portrait of the fat woman had disappeared, and no one opened the door for them, the two of them could only lean against the doorway and talk in extremely low voices.

"Hey Harry, do you think what she said is true?"

"what?"

"That one! Is it really possible for someone to study magic for seven years straight? The professor's experience sounds a bit like a story to me—good heavens, I got goosebumps all over."

"What is it, Ron? Don't scare me like this in the middle of the night!"

Harry couldn't help but glance at the dark corridor, and suddenly felt a little uneasy.

This book is quite famous in the magical world; my mother used to read it to us often as a bedtime story.

"What are you trying to say? What does Professor Levy have to do with fairy tales?"

"The Hairy Heart of the Wizard! Harry, Professor Levy is very likely the wizard in that story!"

"The hairy heart of a male wizard?"

For some reason, Harry's heart skipped a beat just hearing the title.

Faced with Harry's question, Ron gave him a look that suggested he wanted to eat a child, and began to tell the story in a low voice.

Once upon a time, there was a wizard who was eccentric and arrogant.

When his friends all fell in love, he was dismissive of it, thinking that his friends had become foolish because of love.

So he vowed to remain single for life, and to prevent himself from being swayed by others, he used dark magic to place his heart in the cellar of his castle, locking it in a large box.

Many years passed, and he grew increasingly cold-hearted. Even the death of his parents failed to break his spirit.

But one day—he fell in love with a girl.

The girl said to the wizard, "Please let me see your heart. If your heart is smooth and bright, I will agree to marry you."

The wizard then led the girl to the cellar, but as soon as he opened the box, the girl screamed!

It turns out that the wizard's heart, having been in the cold cellar for so long, unable to hear beautiful music, feel the love of his family, or receive the caresses of his lover, had become shrunken and even covered with long black hair!
The girl begged the wizard to put her heart back into her body, and the wizard did so.

She said she wanted to let this heart feel loved again.

But the wizard's heart had become completely vicious, brutal, and dark.

It dominates and controls the wizard's body, causing him to lose his mind.

When the wizard heard the girl's warm heartbeat and felt her smooth, delicate skin, he did something crazy!
He pierced the girl's chest with a dagger, ripped out her bright red, smooth heart, and tried to use magic to replace his own hairy heart, but he was controlled by his heart and couldn't do it.

Finally, the wizard cut open his own chest with a knife, ripped out his heart, and died a tragic death.

"Don't you think the wizard in this story is very similar to Professor Levi?"

The only difference is that one of them pursues magic, while the other pursues love.
Merlin's trousers! No wonder I felt something was off about Professor Levi the first time I met him! He's a heartless, cold-blooded monster!

"How...how could that be? It's just a story."

Harry was also a little scared by what he said. If that were really the case, then when this monster learned all the magic in the world and returned to Hogwarts, wouldn't it be equivalent to the wizard putting his heart back into his body?

"Now it all makes sense! It all makes sense! Professor Levi closed himself off during his time at Hogwarts to learn magic. But after leaving Hogwarts, he wanted to find his heart again, so he returned!"
But his heart had already grown wild; putting his own heart back in would only drive him completely mad!

Ron's teeth were chattering as he spoke.

"We need to tell Hermione right away. She can't go to Professor Levi's study group anymore; it's too dangerous!"

Harry's expression was also filled with terror. Just as he was about to speak, a voluptuous voice suddenly rang out behind them.

Who is speaking here?

"what!!!"

Harry and Ron were completely unprepared for the sound and screamed simultaneously.

The portrait of the fat woman also screamed.

Then, she saw Harry and Ron appear out of nowhere.

They had to get back to their dorms before Filch arrived!

Fortunately, the plump woman, who had just returned from visiting a friend, seemed to be in a good mood and didn't hold it against the two of them. She just hummed and asked:
"This is a one-time exception! What's the password?"

"Banana fried dough".

Seeing the door finally open, the two who had been waiting anxiously rushed inside. Before leaving, Harry turned his head one last time to look at the dark corridor. Filch was nowhere to be seen, and even his loyal pet, Mrs. Lorris, had not arrived. Oh, Mrs. Lorris had been petrified.

Recalling Filch's terrified reaction to Professor Levy that evening, and Ron's story just now, Harry's heart began to pound again.
For some reason, he had a feeling that Filch probably wouldn't be patrolling as diligently as before for quite some time to come.

That night, Harry had a nightmare.

He dreamt that he came to Li Wei's office, and everyone else was gone, just the two of them.

Professor Levi stood with his back to him in front of a huge yellow treasure chest, speaking in that unchanging, emotionless tone, but Harry couldn't hear him.

Just as he instinctively tried to get closer, Professor Levi suddenly turned around, and Harry was horrified to see that his chest was a hollow hole, pitch black inside, with nothing at all!

"Password, Potter, password."

Professor Li Wei's mouth didn't move, but his voice still rang out—from the hollow of his chest!
Harry tried to run away, but found himself unable to move.

At that moment, the huge yellow treasure chest began to shake violently, the chains rattled and came off on their own, and the lid suddenly popped open!

There was no heart inside, only a huge, bright green snake that slowly raised its head and stared intently at Harry with its deadly yellow eyes!
"Wow!!!"

Harry jumped out of bed, his heart pounding wildly in his chest as if it would burst out!
He instinctively gripped the bedsheet tightly, but his gaze drifted to the window—the sky was already bright, and sunlight streamed through the window onto the dormitory floor, looking very warm.

His roommate, Simo, grumbled in dissatisfaction, turned over, and went back to sleep. The others were completely undisturbed by his noise.

Everything seemed so peaceful and harmonious.

But it did nothing to dispel the chill in Harry's body.
