Humans in the primordial world, inscribing the Way of Heaven!

Chapter 13 [The Mind Platform, the Ancient Moon Ape]

Chapter 13 [The Mind Platform, the Ancient Moon Ape]

Xuan Yin doesn't really care much about opportunities right now. If he gets one, it's his good fortune; if he loses one, it's his fate. What he cares about is the sage's predictions about the future.

The sage's primordial spirit, entrusted to the Heavenly Dao, could theoretically foresee future trends. However, the great calamity of the Lich King and the great calamity of the Investiture of the Gods had not yet ended, and the karmic consequences of the great calamity of the Investiture of the Gods had not yet erupted. Yet, this senior uncle of his was deducing the Journey to the West countless eons later within the Great Luo Heaven he had created...

That's really outrageous!

"If the will of Heaven is truly unchanging, then what is the point of the future? Did I transmigrate to this world just to conform to this trend?"

Xuan Yin's heart was instantly filled with turbulent waves, his Dao heart was like a lone boat on the sea, rising and falling uncertainly, and his teeth clenched involuntarily.

The world of Journey to the West was created by Laozi, and Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism coexisted. This means that the Sage Taiqing deduced at least the great rise of Buddhism and the emergence of Confucianism.

In the primordial world, the human race is still in a primitive stage, and the two sages of the West have no intention of establishing a Buddhist sect.

He had thought that his greatest advantage was his foresight into the future, but now it seems that he is definitely not the only one with such foresight.

If the Sage of Taiqing could accomplish this, then what about the Primordial Heavenly Venerable and his own teacher?
Xuan Yin suddenly remembered that he had never seen any disciples of the Chan Sect after arriving at Kunlun Mountain. Was it because his teacher had foreseen the future and knew everything, and therefore did not want to communicate with Yuanshi Tianzun?
Probably!

Of course, this is just Xuan Yin's guess!
He wanted to use his Celestial Immortal Dao Fruit to explore this world, but he discovered that a mysterious power directly suppressed his Celestial Immortal Dao Fruit.

However, he can still use his magic power and the supernatural abilities he has mastered!

"Does this world reject other Dao fruits, or does it only cultivate magical power and Dao cultivation? Or am I currently just in an illusion?"

If his guess is correct, he is now a Six-Eared Macaque with the body of a Golden Immortal. As long as he improves his cultivation, he will become a powerful demon king in this world.

They are truly blessed!
even……

Looking at the newly born stone monkey, a dark thought arose in his mind. Since the two were both derived from the origin of the Chaos Demon Ape, if he devoured and refined it, would his foundation be elevated to a higher level?

However, he quickly dismissed the idea. In the world of Journey to the West, the other party was the absolute protagonist. If he put his idea into practice, who knows, the next second, the Taiqing Divine Thunder would descend to cleanse the world.

"Let's observe for a while first!"

At this moment, he was also very curious: since this was the world of Journey to the West, was the current Buddha in Buddhism his senior brother Duobao?
What about powerful beings like the Jade Emperor and Zhen Yuanzi? Were they evolved from the Taiqing Sage, or were they incarnations left behind in the Taiqing Heaven?
He did not reveal himself to the stone monkey, but instead cultivated himself while silently observing everything. At the same time, he used his innate supernatural powers to listen to the voices of the Three Realms and Six Paths and to understand this world.

The birth of the stone monkey was a momentous event, alarming the Heavenly Court, the Underworld, and naturally, the nearby Dragon Palace of the East Sea could not escape its influence.

Occasionally, sea creatures would emerge and secretly observe the growth of the stone monkey.

Three hundred years passed in the blink of an eye, and the stone monkey also mingled with the monkey troop of Flower Fruit Mountain, and became the new monkey king through the feat of leaping over the waterfall.

From then on, Huaguo Mountain, a blessed land, and the Water Curtain Cave became the new home of the monkey troop.

The Monkey King led a group of monkeys, macaques, and gibbons, assigning them roles as ruler, ministers, and assistants. They would roam Flower Fruit Mountain in the morning and sleep in Water Curtain Cave at night. They were of one mind and shared the same feelings, not associating with birds or beasts, and reigning as king alone. They were overjoyed, but were also touched by the matters of birth, old age, sickness, and death.

One day, while feasting with a group of monkeys, he suddenly became distressed and shed tears.

Upon seeing this, the monkeys hurriedly bowed and said, "This is a place of joy, why is Your Majesty troubled?"

The Monkey King said, "Although I am happy, I have some worries about the future, which is why I am troubled."

The monkeys laughed again, "Your Majesty is so ungrateful! We enjoy ourselves every day in this blessed land of immortals and ancient caves, free from the rule of the Qilin, the Phoenix, and the constraints of human kingship. We are free and unrestrained, which is an immeasurable blessing. Why do you worry about the future?"

The Monkey King said, “We are now carefree and unrestrained. Although we are not subject to the laws of human kings and are not afraid of the might of beasts, in the future, when we grow old and our blood weakens, the King of Hell will be secretly watching over us. Once we die, will we not have lived in vain in this world and not be able to stay among the heavenly beings for long?”

Upon hearing this, the monkeys covered their faces and wept, all fearing the impermanence of life. But there were exceptions!
Suddenly, a gibbon leaped out from the ranks, cupped its hands to the Monkey King, and shouted, "Your Majesty's foresight is truly remarkable, a sign of your enlightened mind. Of the five types of creatures, only three are not under the jurisdiction of Yama, the King of Hell. Your Majesty may go and learn from them!"

The Monkey King immediately asked, "Do you know which three classes of people are they, and where they reside?"

The gibbon replied, "They are Buddhas, immortals, and gods who have escaped reincarnation, are neither born nor die, live as long as heaven and earth, mountains and rivers, and are the same age as the sun and moon. They exist only in the ancient caves and immortal mountains of the Jambudvipa world."

Upon hearing this, the Monkey King was overjoyed and danced with glee, saying, "Tomorrow, I will bid farewell to you all, descend the mountain, and travel to the ends of the earth to seek out these three things, to learn the secret of immortality and to always escape the clutches of Yama, the King of Hell."

The monkeys clapped and cheered, saying, "Excellent! Excellent! Tomorrow we will cross the mountains and climb the hills to find plenty of fruit and hold a grand feast for our king!"

The next day, the Monkey King boarded a raft, carrying fruits and vegetables, and sailed across the ocean.

"We've finally set sail!"

Seeing the stone monkey leave, Xuan Yin immediately revealed himself, keeping an eye on the stone monkey while also approaching Marshal Ma Liu and General Beng Ba.

These four monkeys are also considered outliers among the monkeys of Flower Fruit Mountain. Although they are not as good as the stone monkeys, they still have the blood of the gibbon and the red-bottomed macaque.

It's just very thin!
Judging from its appearance, it must have been descended from an ancestor who was born with a divine nature, like the stone monkey.

He used his supernatural powers to take a drop of essence blood from each of the four monkeys and integrate it into himself, to see if he could gain something through bloodline resonance.
Of course, he did not kill the four monkeys, but only made them unconscious.

Unfortunately, the bloodline of the four monkeys was too thin. Apart from allowing Xuan Yin to glimpse a phantom of a chaotic demonic ape in the dark, they gained nothing from their essence blood, which was obviously due to their impure bloodline!

Seeing this, Xuan Yin shook his head: "It seems we need to find their ancestor!"

After saying that, he released four streams of immortal energy to replenish the four monkeys' depleted essence and blood, and then transformed into a rainbow of light to follow the stone monkey out to sea.

He did not interfere with the stone monkey's fate, but merely acted as an observer.

Soon, the stone monkey arrived at Xiniu Hezhou and found Lingtai Fangcun Mountain.

Guided by the woodcutter, the stone monkey successfully became a disciple of the Bodhi Patriarch and was given the name Sun Wukong. He then began to hone his character on Fangcun Mountain.

Xuan Yin wanted to spy on him secretly, but Patriarch Bodhi did not give him the opportunity.

In a whirlwind, Xuan Yin found himself standing before Patriarch Bodhi.

The Bodhi Patriarch smiled and said, "You already have a master. There is no master-disciple relationship between us, but we have a karmic connection that has existed in the unseen world!"

"Since it is cause and effect, it should be resolved. Would you be willing to listen in on my teachings for a while?"

Xuan Yin would not refuse.

He was simply curious whether the Bodhi Patriarch before him was an incarnation of the Taiqing Sage, or an incarnation left in this world by the Western Sage Zhunti.
If it's the former, then it doesn't matter. But if it's the latter, shouldn't one force a connection with oneself?

The Bodhi Patriarch smiled and said, "Remove the animalistic nature from the character '猢' (hú), and you become '古月' (gǔyuè). Since you were named on Fangcun Mountain, we will take the character '方' (fāng), hoping that you will not lose your true nature. Finally, we will take the character '猿' (yuán), and you will be called '古月方猿' (gǔyuè fāngyuán)!"

"what?"

Xuan Yin was taken aback upon hearing this.

I?
Ancient Moon Ape?
