Chapter 5 Nighthawks

Sirius's detached house had many rooms. The gray-eyed officer led Luze into one of the guest rooms and found two armchairs, choosing one to sit down. He took out a pipe from his pocket, sniffed it, and then put it back.

"Let me introduce you, Dunn Smith."

He introduced himself.

"Good evening, Officer Dunn."

Lu Ze sat opposite him, speaking with a slightly wary expression.

He didn't know what the young, bookish police officer with black hair and brown eyes had said to Dunn, nor did he know if he would end up in a bad situation because of it. Naturally, he was on guard when he was alone with the other person in the room.

"Don't be so nervous, you just need to tell the truth."

Dunn smiled politely, looked into Lu Ze's eyes, and asked seriously, "Mr. Lu Ze, you mentioned before that you often have hallucinations. What exactly are they like?"

Lu Ze recalled the scene of the black-haired, brown-eyed police officer solemnly performing a ritual with citrine. Could he be obtaining information in this way?
"Yes, we are indeed extraordinary beings, just like you."

Dunn spoke calmly to Lu Ze, but then uttered a remarkable statement.

The young police officer with green eyes reported the situation.
