Snape, the Sunshine of Hogwarts.

Chapter 33 Do what I want to do

Chapter 33 Do what I want to do

"His situation could have been a big deal or a small deal."

"The ghost Snape, inside Severus's body, said calmly."

"Let's not talk about stealing the medicine. Since you've taken the blame for making the medicine, as long as you don't say it's theft, then it's not theft."

"As for drugging that Muggle, it does violate the Wizarding Law. But as long as it can be proven later that his actions were not harmful, but rather consensual and agreed upon with the Muggle, then it won't constitute a serious crime. After all, strictly speaking, even a potent version of Hellfire isn't exactly a lethal poison."

"The only part that is difficult to measure is the violation of the Secret Service Act. Only a vote by the members of Wizengamo can determine the extent of the crime."

Upon hearing this, Severus mentally accepted Snape's words.

"And this crime, which could have been a minor or major offense, is now so escalated that it cannot be easily and lightly punished. In addition, Bloodny is not a wizard, but a vampire, whose status in the magical world is not much higher than that of a werewolf. I cannot imagine that Wizengamo would let this matter go so easily."

Ghost Snape's voice was icy.

"He should be sentenced to at least five years in Azkaban."

Severus said calmly.

“But a place like Azkaban is not a place that ordinary people can withstand. If Heni were really imprisoned there, he would be sucked to death by those Dementors in less than two years.”

"So what?" Ghost Snape said nonchalantly. "This is the consequence he has to bear. A vampire, daring to be so audacious, stealing medicine, showing magic to Muggles, and kidnapping children!"

Severus did not say that Henney was innocent; he simply asked again.

"Bloodny's fate was to be sucked to death by Dementors in Azkaban, but what about Patty?"

"Once she's revived, the memory erasure team will take care of her," Ghost Snape said dismissively. "She shouldn't have known this vampire in the first place. After this, her life will be back on track."

"The right track? I dare say without Bloodny, trapped in that kind of family, she would find a way to die in less than two years, just like she did without hesitation when she jumped off the building in the first place."

"So what?" Ghost Snape's face was cold and indifferent. "They brought this on themselves."

Severus did not continue communicating with Snape the Ghost, but turned to look at Harry, who had come to his senses.

“If we hand these two over to the Aurors now, Shini will be sentenced to Azkaban, where she will be sucked to death by a monster called a Dementor. After Patty regains consciousness, the Memory Erasure Team will erase all her memories of magic and Shini, and before long, she will end her own life.”

"Harry, do you think they brought this on themselves?"

Harry stared at Severus in shock and said in a voice that was hard to understand.

"Why did this happen? None of them wanted to harm anyone! They just wanted to escape from here. Bloodny just wanted to take Patty to the place she always wanted to go! Why did they have to die like this?"

"Because one of them is a vampire and the other is a cripple, two outcasts without status or dignity, yet they've made such a big fuss."

Severus said calmly.

“The high-ranking officials will not sympathize with them, nor do they care what they did for what purpose. They will only want to use this case as a typical example to impose the highest punishment.”

“This isn’t fair!” Harry shouted, shaking his head. He looked Severus in the eye and said earnestly, “Teacher, I think any normal person would think this is unfair! They don’t deserve to be punished like this!”

Hearing Harry's answer, Severus was satisfied.

He muttered to himself about Ghost Snape.

"Did you hear that? You weirdo, even Harry says you're not normal!"

Ghost Snape didn't care who Severus had won over; he was just being sarcastic.

"Whoever controls the discourse has the right to call anyone an outcast! Clearly, those who control the discourse only think the same way I do!"

Severus remained noncommittal.

"Let's put aside the issue of having a voice for now, and just talk about who makes up the majority of people in the wizarding world: those with Harry's ideas or those with yours?"

The answer to this question is fixed. As Harry said, public sentiment is simple. Any normal person, after understanding the whole story, would not feel that Bloodny and Patty deserved such an ending.

Therefore, Ghost Snape did not answer the question, but instead said...

"But their story won't get out. Even if a few obscure tabloids report it, who would believe a vampire and a new writer without any credible testimony?"

"Once they are caught, the Ministry of Magic will only try and convict them as quickly as possible to put an end to this matter."

After saying that, he also warned Severus.

"The same goes for you. This matter should end once these two are captured, and the task Dumbledore gave you will be complete. As long as you send them to the Aurors, it will be enough to settle the matter regarding the potions, since they stole the potions themselves!"

Upon hearing his words, Severus simply smiled. He said nothing, but instead suddenly asked a question that had nothing to do with the matter.

"Let's make a hypothetical scenario: if I hadn't become you, and you were still yourself, and you told Dumbledore you wanted to come and take Harry away on a trip, do you think Dumbledore would have agreed?"

Ghost Snape was silent for a moment, then his voice became irritable.

"You don't need to try to refute me in different ways! Let's just talk about the matter at hand. The only thing you can do now is to hand these two over to the Aurors, and then at most ask Dumbledore for help. When they are on trial, ask him to put in a good word and reduce their sentences! And then take extra care of that crippled Muggle so that she doesn't commit suicide!"

"Besides that, what else can you do?"

Severus did not answer Snape's question immediately. Instead, he waved his wand and lowered Bloodny and Wolper, who were hanging upside down in mid-air.

Then he looked at them intently.

“If you are caught by the Aurors, you will be severely punished by the Ministry of Magic, and other wizards who are unaware of the truth will only cheer for it.”

"Because they don't know what a vampire and a crippled Muggle can go through. They just think that outcasts are outcasts, that poor Muggle was hurt by you, and that she should have been living a good life in her own family. This is just your wishful thinking!"

Blood Nyx seemed to have his soul ripped out; he slumped to the ground in a daze.

Volpe didn't say anything either. He lowered his head, covered his face, and trembled silently.

The cabin fell silent for a moment until Severus spoke again.

"But things would be different if I joined."

This sudden statement stunned both the human and the ghost!
Harry stared wide-eyed at his teacher.

Xueni raised his head blankly.

Volp's body trembled violently.

Ghost Snape seemed to sense something, and his face turned extremely ugly!

Severus crossed his legs and, facing everyone's gaze, said lightly.

"Just imagine, if the Aurors find out that Severus Snape, the former Death Eater who was exonerated by Dumbledore, is now the Headmaster of Slytherin at Hogwarts, a Potions Professor, a Master of Potions, a Master of the Dark Arts, and a Master of Defence Against the Dark Arts in the wizarding world, was also involved in this Muggle poisoning case, and is very likely the mastermind behind it all."

"My God! The editors and reporters at those magic newspapers must be going crazy. This is definitely the biggest news since Voldemort lost power!"

"They will spare no effort to dig up inside stories, exaggerate the reports, and create a media frenzy!"

In reality, Harry, Nyx, and Wolpert were stunned by Severus's words.

Ghost Snape roared.

“What on earth do you want to do!!”

Severus smiled.

"Of course I'm going to do it, the things I want to do."
