Chapter 237 Prison Break

Chapter 237 Prison Break
Why are there so many strange people gathered at the dock today? Is Halloween coming early?

At Hartlep Wharf, Forrest, a sailor who had just disembarked from a cargo ship and was returning home to rest, looked in bewilderment at a small dock not far away. There, a group of people dressed in black robes and wearing terrifying metal masks that only children wear on Halloween were discussing something with some small boats.

"Who cares? It's probably just the Grasshead Club throwing some weird party again. You know, they always use these kinds of methods to attract attention and raise funds."

"Well, let's hope they don't cause any trouble and affect tomorrow's dock work."

The strange group that sparked the Muggles' discussion was none other than Old Nott and his crew, who were fully prepared and would be heading to Azkaban this evening to begin their prison break operation.

No one chose to avoid the event. The moment Voldemort appeared before them, no one doubted the possibility of their comeback.

Given this, what they need to do now is to strive to gain more leverage and benefits for their future selves.

The breakout from Azkaban was the best way to demonstrate their true loyalty to Voldemort.

Moreover, with the combined efforts of so many pure-blood families, no one thought the mission would fail. The very meaning of the so-called unbreakable prison was to be broken from the outside by this group of people today!
"What truly guides wizards into Azkaban is not this ship, but the lanterns on it! If you don't want to abandon your flying brooms, take down the lanterns from the ship and hang them on the broom heads. The others can then follow the brooms with the lanterns attached and together they can navigate through the fog and reach Azkaban."

Upon arriving here, the person specifically in charge of directing them and explaining the precautions was a current Auror.

The reason why this Auror chose to help old Nott and his group was quite simple.

His last name is Selwyn.

He is a wizard from a typical pure-blood family.

Following his instructions, the Death Eaters took the lanterns off the small boat and placed them on the heads of their brooms. Then, old Nott checked the time on his pocket watch, and finally gave a disgusted look to the ignorant Muggles watching them with amusement.

"Drive them away, don the invisibility cloak, and prepare to begin the operation."

Beside him, Goyle and Crabbe raised their wands and cast a Muggle banishing spell.

After the spell took effect, the Muggles around them suddenly remembered that they had urgent business to attend to, and they all hurriedly left the dock.

Even when Muggles passed by on the road by the dock, they all acted as if they couldn't see the Death Eaters at all; nobody paid any attention to them anymore.

Old Nott took the lead, and everyone pulled out their invisibility cloaks.

These cheap invisibility cloaks made with the Disillusionment Charm are not valuable items, especially for the people gathered here now.

After donning the invisibility cloaks, they began to ascend into the air on broomsticks!

These invisibility cloaks cannot completely conceal their figures; at close range, the distorted human silhouettes in the air can still be clearly seen.

But once night falls, this minor flaw completely disappears.

As the sun dipped halfway down the horizon, Old Nott and his companions set off for the North Sea. After more than two hours of travel, they entered a gray fog that Muggles could never traverse. The lantern then proved invaluable, emitting a bright yellow light that guided them in the right direction. It took them about half an hour to cross the fog, finally bringing them to the sight of the prison island that terrified all of England's wizarding world.

Even from the sky, they could still vaguely see the black-robed creatures roaming the island.

Dementors.

A terrifying and despairing dark creature!

"I'll remind you one last time, none of us can use the Patronus Charm, so if we want to abduct them from Azkaban, we'll have to rely on speed!"

"See that castle? The prison is over there, and the people we're looking for are all in the dungeons of that castle. Before we came, you should have seen the prison's layout and map."

"So our plan is simple: ride flying broomsticks, rush into the castle dungeon, open the cell door before the Dementors can react, throw down the extra flying broomsticks we brought, and then take off again to escape!"

"If anyone gets entangled with a Dementor, don't expect anyone else to come to your rescue. Instead, use the Oblivion Curse on yourself as quickly as possible to erase everything about the prison break. Then, when you see an Auror, tell them that you were under the Imperius Curse and were forced to do it. The others will find a way to exonerate you!"

Someone laughed.

“You’re really getting old, Nott. We know this process better than anyone else. Don’t repeat it over and over again.”

"We're the first wave to officially announce the return of our master, right? How about we start with some fireworks?"

More than a dozen people raised their wands.

The next moment, a huge black magic mark, seemingly covering the entire sky, suddenly lit up in the night sky!

The Death Eaters, wearing iron masks, lowered their flying brooms and swooped down towards Azkaban Island, their target the castle on the island.

Such an undisguised commotion naturally attracted the attention of the Dementors on the island, but by the time the monsters realized what was happening, the Death Eaters at the forefront had already stormed into the prison!
These pampered pure-blood wizards do indeed possess some superior skills, because having no worries about making a living, they have more time to pursue hobbies that most people would consider a waste of time.

For example, flying broom racing.

Now, such hobbies are showing plenty of benefits.

After the Death Eaters bypassed the island's hordes of Dementors and stormed into the castle, they quickly found the passage to the dungeon using the map they had memorized. They then broke down the gate and rushed into the dungeon.

The Dementors were like an inescapable tail, relentlessly pursuing them. However, in less than five minutes, Old Nott and his companions successfully reached the dungeon at the very bottom of the prison.

All those imprisoned here are Death Eaters who were captured by the Aurors eight years ago and are vicious and unrepentant!
The Death Eaters at the bottom of the dungeon also heard the commotion, and when they saw the figures in black robes and iron masks riding in on broomsticks...

This once deathly silent space suddenly erupted into a frenzied cheer and laughter!
