When his ear twitched but he couldn't shake the old man off, Lin Ge simply took two steps back with the water cup lid in his mouth, moving to a place out of the old man's reach.

Lingo licked his lips, still feeling a bit unsatisfied, and felt his strength returning; he could continue his journey.

"Want some more?"

The old man added some more water to the lid and looked at Lin Ge with great interest.

"This old man isn't so bad."

Lin Ge muttered something to himself and walked over to continue drinking water.

The old man took out a handful of sunflower seeds from his pocket, each one plump and full. Seeing the cat looking up at him, the old man rubbed two more seeds out and handed them to Lin Ge in his palm.
