Hong Kong Nights of Passion

Chapter 5 is incredibly immoral.

Chapter 5 is incredibly immoral.

Jiang Shu stepped forward and placed his hands on her shoulders.

Looking at the person in front of her, Wen Jinnian's thoughts drifted back to her childhood, when she always liked to follow him around like a little tail.

Four years have passed in the blink of an eye. He now exudes a more mature and composed demeanor, and she is no longer the little girl she once was.

Jiang Shu looked at Wen Jinnian in front of him, a hint of emotion in his eyes, "Our Niannian has grown up so much."

She was born with a pair of exceptionally pure and spirited eyes, and her face, with its distinct lines, exuded an air of innocence.

Wen Jinian instinctively tried to push him away, but Jiang Shu tightened his grip on her shoulders and didn't let go.

Wen Jinnian frowned, looked up at him, and asked in Cantonese.

"Brother, what's wrong?"

Jiang Shu clearly noticed Wen Jinnian's resistance, so he slowly released his hand from her shoulder and sighed softly.

“Niannian, I have to apologize to you for what happened back then. I don’t understand how those letters you wrote to me ended up being used as a PowerPoint presentation on the screen.”

"It's not your fault, brother. I was young and naive back then, and I didn't take your feelings seriously."

She paused for a moment, then continued, "I have never regretted it."

She looked up, her eyes sparkling as she gazed at Jiang Shu.

There was a hint of determination in his eyes.

Looking at Wen Jinnian like this, Jiang Shu felt a sudden pang in his heart, as if something precious was rapidly slipping away from him, impossible to grasp.

This shouldn't be happening. He called her back after his engagement because he wanted to keep her by his side.

"Niannian, can you wait for me for a few more years?" Jiang Shu's tone was pleading.

Wen Jinian looked up at Jiang Shu in surprise, and just as she was about to speak, a "Brother Jiang" broke the slightly tense atmosphere between the two.

The two turned around and saw Zhou Shiyi standing not far away.

“I saw Niannian run out and was worried that something might happen to her, so I followed her out to check.”

Zhou Shiyi explained.

"Brother, sister-in-law, you go in first. I'll come in after I've had some fresh air."

Jiang Shu looked into her eyes, a complex emotion flashing within them.

Zhou Shiyi took Jiang Shu's hand and said, "Let's go inside first, they're still waiting!"

Jiang Shu had no choice but to nod.

Wen Jinnian turned around, stood on the balcony railing and looked down, the entire harbor area and Kowloon Island night view unfolded before her eyes without reservation.

The skyscrapers in Central are brightly lit, with neon lights flashing.

She stared ahead, lost in her own world, completely unaware of anyone approaching.

"Looks like it's another breakup."

A teasing voice, uttered in authentic Cantonese, rang out.

Wen Jinnian subconsciously turned her head and saw Chi Yige holding a cigarette case and taking out a cigarette from it.

Then, with a "click," he lit the lighter, took a deep drag, and leaned against the edge of the terrace not far away.

Wen Jinnian's anger flared up instantly.

The thought of losing her first kiss made her furious.

"I've never even been in a relationship, so how could I have experienced heartbreak?"

He slowly exhaled a smoke ring, which swirled around his eyes, making it impossible for Wen Jinnian to discern any emotion hidden within them.

He slowly and methodically stubbed out his cigarette and tossed it into the nearby trash can. "Wen, does your brother know you have two sides?"

"What do you want to say?" Wen Jinian immediately became alert.

"Now this is your true nature!" He smirked, a half-smile playing on his lips. "I never expected that Wen would like someone like Jiang Shu."

"The sense of immorality is too heavy."

Chi Yige deliberately dragged out the second half of his sentence.

Upon hearing this, Wen Jinnian almost laughed out of anger. She rolled her eyes and retorted, "Please, what business is it of yours who I like?"

Chi Yige stepped forward and walked up to her. The oppressive aura emanating from him instantly overwhelmed her, causing her to involuntarily take several steps back until her back hit the railing, leaving her with nowhere to retreat.

Chi Yige leaned down slightly, getting closer to her, his warm breath gently brushing against her cheeks.

"Wen, you stole my first kiss, do you think it's okay?" "I...you..." Because they were so close, the burgeoning hormones emanating from him, the woody fougère scent mixed with delicate floral fragrance, first entered her nostrils. Then, the faint smell of tobacco drifted out, intertwining with the fresh aroma.

The two flavors blended together, filling her nose and stimulating her senses.

Too intimate, Wen Jinnian's breathing became disordered involuntarily, and her heart trembled slightly.

A faint blush crept up to the tips of her ears for no apparent reason.

She looked at the handsome and imposing face of the man in front of her. He was getting closer and closer, and if she made the slightest movement, the two of them would have intimate contact again.

She forced herself to tilt her head back as far as she could.

That was also my first kiss.

She replied through gritted teeth.

"Well, it seems we're even now."

Wen Jinian did not answer him directly, and still looked wary.

"Wen, you are in a dangerous situation."

"Don't worry about it."

"Why do you speak to me with such sharp edges, but are so gentle when you talk to your so-called brother?"

Chi Yige chuckled, then changed the subject, "How about we make a deal?"

He fixed his gaze on Wen Jinnian's eyes and said earnestly, "If we start dating, I'll help you leave the Jiang family."

Wen Jinian stared wide-eyed in shock, looking at the man in front of her in disbelief.

His pale skin had a porcelain-like sheen, which made his eyebrows and eyes appear even more deep and three-dimensional. His brow bones were slightly raised, sharp as if carved by a knife, casting small shadows in his eye sockets, adding a touch of mystery to his long, narrow peach blossom eyes.

Her eyes were slightly upturned at the corners, her eyelashes were long and thick, and her pupils were as black as ink. At this moment, a smile crept up the corners of her eyes, instantly turning into spring water, so gentle that it could drown a person.

This even gave Wen Jinian the illusion that she had abandoned the person she had loved for many years.

My heart skipped a beat for no apparent reason.

She looked away and muttered under her breath, "vixen."

She could hear her heart pounding uncontrollably.

How did he know she wanted to get rid of the Jiang family and investigate her? But that doesn't make sense; she didn't tell anyone.

She once wondered if Chi Yige had mind-reading abilities.

"How can you date me? It's embarrassing." Chi Yige scoffed lightly, his deep voice ringing in my ears.

"I don't understand what you're saying, and I don't want to be in a relationship right now."

Wen Jin thought of something and suddenly reached out to push Yi Ge away.

She turned to leave, but he grabbed her arm.

Her heart tightened, and she bent her knees, turned around, and raised her leg, delivering a horizontal kick aimed straight at Chi Yige's wrist.

Chi Yige dodged to the side and used the momentum to press down and dissipate the force.

The two exchanged blows on the terrace.

Wen Jinnian looked up: "As expected, you also know Taekwondo."

Chi Yige laughed and said, "Likewise."

Finally, Wen Jinnian's phone rang, and the two hurriedly stopped what they were doing.

Wen Jinian took out her phone and saw that it was Jiang Shu calling, probably because he hadn't seen her for a long time.

She didn't answer the phone, looked down at the pink bandage on her palm, clapped her hands, and said, "I'm back."

As he turned away, he left with the words, "I will leave the Jiang family on my own."

Then, she turned around, glancing subtly at the crotch of Chi Yige's pants under his trench coat, and added, "I don't date people with hidden illnesses."

"Wen Jinian, what did you say?"

Chi Yige's face instantly darkened to the point of being dripping with gloom, and he watched helplessly as Wen Jinnian's figure gradually walked away.

He took out his phone and dialed a number: "Duan Jiayan, find out who is spreading rumors that I have a hidden illness."

Duan Jiayan on the other end of the phone looked bewildered: "Do you have a hidden illness?"

Please continue reading, thank you, love you all.
