Chapter 77 New Power-Type Template (Two-in-One)

In downtown New York City, sirens pierced the afternoon hustle and bustle.

"Make way for the Red Tank."

The roar of the red tank made the bank windows vibrate and tremble. He charged into the hall like a runaway rhinoceros, cracking the concrete floor beneath his feet and shaking the chandeliers precariously.

Panicked customers and staff crouched down, covering their heads. Several security guards were knocked unconscious by the counter he casually overturned as soon as they touched their service pistols.

"It's that mutant robber!" came the officer's urgent call over the radio. "Requesting heavy weapon support! Repeat, requesting—"

Before the words were even finished, more than a dozen police cars arrived with sirens blaring. The police quickly formed a perimeter, and bullets rained down on the massive, deep red vehicle.

boom! boom! boom!
The bullet hit the red tank's skin but didn't even leave a white mark before bouncing off. He didn't even stop walking; he just waved his hand impatiently, like shooing away a fly.

"Save your breath, kids." He grinned maliciously and turned to walk towards the vault deep inside the bank.

The vault's alloy doors were two feet thick, enough to stop a missile, but for the Red Tank, they were just a slightly tough cookie.

He gripped the door crack with both hands, his muscles bulging like hydraulic presses, the metal groaning shrilly. With a low growl, the entire door was ripped open, hinge bolts flying off like popcorn.

"That's more like it." Seeing the piles of banknotes inside, he grinned, grabbed the giant sack he had prepared, and began to pour bundles of banknotes into it.

"Mmm, the smell of fresh banknotes is really refreshing."

While packing, Red Tank took a deep breath, his face full of ecstasy.

Other bank employees took the opportunity to escape.

Red Tank didn't care. He carried the sack full of cash, and his heavy footsteps shook the entire building, causing dust to fall.

As he swaggered out of the bank, the police could only watch helplessly as this seemingly invincible monster crashed into three police cars that tried to stop him, humming a tune as he drove off.

In the distance, a rookie policeman trembled as he lowered his pistol: "We...we just let him go like that?"

The old sheriff took off his askew hat, his voice filled with disgust, "Damn mutant freaks!"

"Their arrogance won't last long. The president has made an exception and approved a weapons program called Sentinel for mass production. In the future, there will be robots as tall as buildings patrolling the cities across the United States. If they encounter mutants in public places, they will capture them all and send them to the laboratory."

"Isn't this a violation of human rights? Such a big move! What's going on?"

"I heard that it was because mutants broke into the nuclear missile base, almost starting World War III. The nuclear missile base was even wiped off the face of the earth."

The conversation below reached the ears of the two figures in the sky.

“That wouldn’t solve the problem at all, and Father shouldn’t have gone to that military base.” Wanda rubbed her forehead, slightly annoyed. “Sometimes I have to admit that Professor X’s ideas are sometimes right.”

The father's violent behavior made things worse.

"I should also have some influence on this."

Russell spoke slowly.

The aftermath of his battle with Magneto destroyed the nuclear missile military base, and with a wave of his hand, he turned the world's most terrifying weapon—the nuclear bomb—into harmless ribbons that fell to the ground.

The terrifying power of nuclear weapons has kept countries around the world at peace for decades, but they have no deterrent effect on mutants.

The president must be even more anxious now.

"The bag wasn't full yet; I remember there was a bank a few streets away."

The Red Tank's maniacal laughter could be heard several blocks away.

It sounds like he treats the bank like an ATM that doesn't require a card.

"This big guy is a real oddball. He stole so much gold from us and robbed many banks, but his biggest expense is just ordering lots of pizzas every day and installing a tacky disco ball in his house so he can dance anytime he wants."

Wanda watched the red tank rushing towards another bank and shook her head in confusion.

Logically, robbing money should be for the purpose of spending it.

With a size as large as Red Tank, he can't hide anywhere. And his brain isn't smart enough to launder money. He has money but nowhere to spend it, so I don't know why he would rob money.

It's normal that ordinary people can't understand his thought process.

He doesn't look very bright.

Russell crossed his arms and sized up the back of the Red Tank.

Strictly speaking, Juggernaut is not a mutant; his power comes from the Crimson Ruby—a gem belonging to the cosmic demon Cyttorak.

Those who obtain the power of the gems will become messengers of the Crimson Demon, possessing unparalleled power, but will also suffer a decline in intelligence...

'Perhaps when power dominates, intelligence simply disappears.'

"Hey, you two up there, stop talking bad about me! Do you really think Red Tank can't hear me?!" Red Tank suddenly stopped, glanced back, grabbed a nearby street lamp, and threw the javelin into the sky behind him.

Bang!
The streetlight exploded with a sonic boom, shooting through the air. Russell's eyes shot out a burning gaze as the streetlight melted into molten iron and fell, its sharp gaze fixed on him.

"Big guy, you stole what you shouldn't have taken."

Wanda gave a soft shout and released chaotic power from her hands. The large bag of money flew into the air. Red Tank tore the pocket open, but he couldn't stop the money that he had just received and hadn't even had a chance to warm up from flying away.

"You dare steal my money!"

Enraged, the Red Tank stomped on the ground, its body shooting out like a cannonball. Its towering form compressed the air, creating a visible white shockwave, its imposing presence terrifying.

"Only Red Tank has ever stolen from others; no one has ever stolen from Red Tank."

"Then you should get used to it."

Russell appeared in front of Wanda and threw a punch with lightning speed.

The shockwave exploded outwards with a deafening roar.

The red tank crashed through the road like a deep red meteorite, sending asphalt debris raining down on the surrounding buildings and turning shopfronts into sieves.

"You have some strength, but it's not enough against the Red Tank. The Red Tank is unstoppable!"

Red Tank scrambled to his feet, pounding his chest in fury like King Kong atop the Empire State Building after being provoked, his angry voice echoing through the streets: "Come on, kid, let me crush your bones!"

"as you wish!"

Russell swooped down from the clouds, his black afterimage leaving a sonic boom cloud in the air, and threw a punch. Juggernaut angrily threw a punch, and their fists collided in mid-air—

boom! ! !
The shockwave shattered all the glass curtain walls within a radius of 100 meters. The Red Tank's legs sank more than ten feet into the ground, creating a large crater, while Russell was bounced back into the air by the reaction force.

“Interesting.” Russell shook his numb wrist, his eyes suddenly lighting up with a warm light.

Rumble!
The crimson beam struck the Red Tank in the chest, plunging him through three skyscrapers, but the behemoth rose up laughing amidst the steel and concrete, its skin bearing only faint scorch marks.

"Is this all you can do?"

"Such a tough body."

Russell was slightly surprised.

Its strength slightly surpassed his, and its defense was even more impressive, almost comparable to a berserker beast, or even stronger!

Think about it, although the Juggernaut can't usually beat the Hulk, Thor, and others, he has almost never been seriously injured by them.

This brute's body is indeed incredibly strong, sometimes giving even the Hulk and Thor a headache.

"Go quickly, go quickly!"

The police officers screamed and fled.

Even before the Red Tank appeared in the area, the New York Police Department, fearing this incredibly destructive beast, ordered officers to evacuate the surrounding crowds.

This does make people less hesitant.

Swish!
The ground shook, Wanda waved her hand, and with the manipulation of chaotic magic, a department store was lifted from the ground, rising a hundred meters high, and crashing heavily into the clamoring Red Tank.

The red tank seemed to have no idea what dodging was, leaping up wildly.

Rumble!
The tremors were felt throughout New York.

An entire department store crashed down on its head, and the Red Tank was slammed straight into the ground. It shook its head, got up, and was still as if nothing had happened.

He grabbed a section of the wall and swung it around, smashing it down.

Russell and Wanda dodged, but Juggernaut seized the opportunity to leap up and attack. This big guy sometimes really knows how to fight in the streets.

Unfortunately, it was of little use.

Noisy!
Russell's laser eye shot out suddenly, and the Red Tank, which had only jumped a few dozen meters, was blasted back to the ground by the laser.

With veins bulging on his forehead, Russell unleashed his full power, trying to break through the Red Tank's defenses. The Red Tank screamed in pain as it was engulfed by lasers and blasted deep into the ground.

With the Homelander panel now available, he has hardly used any other physical strength templates since; the Soldier Boy template is starting to fall behind the times.

"The Juggernaut's power comes from the Crimson Demon God. I wonder if he can gain the same power if I defeat him." The Juggernaut template seems to be a good candidate for his new power-type form!
The scorching white steam almost vaporized the entire street.

Russell stopped when he felt a slight stinging in his eyes.

"That felt great, what a wonderful hot bath!"

The entire street was almost completely blocked by the lava pool. The Red Tank swayed as it stood up in the lava, and even mockingly splashed a few handfuls of lava on itself, pretending to take a bath.

However, the charred skin on his chest, revealing patches of bright red flesh beneath, betrayed him.

"Too bad, your body isn't as tough as your mouth!"

Russell rubbed his uncomfortable eyes and snorted coldly.

"This is nothing. Once I catch you, you'll know what real pain is." Juggernaut tore off his shattered shoulder armor, revealing the bulging muscles beneath.

"If you've got the guts, come down here and fight me, you little punk!"

Are you afraid of me?

Russell swooped down and threw a punch.

The two fought fiercely in the street, like two enormous beasts with incredible destructive power, leaving the ground shattered and houses collapsing in their wake.

Bang!
Red Tank delivered a headbutt to Russell's chin, and Russell tasted a metallic rust in his mouth.

He casually wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, and the next second he delivered a topspin punch right into the Red Tank's chin.

"If you can't fly, no matter how tough you are, you're just a punching bag."

The shockwave exploded, sending the Red Tank soaring a thousand meters into the air. Russell then launched himself into the air, breaking the sound barrier to catch up, and delivered another punch to the Red Tank's face.

"hateful!"

The Red Tank was punched and sent flying into the suburbs of New York.

Bang bang!

Russell's relentless attacks caused the Red Tank to accelerate like a baseball being hit from a distance.

Juggernaut's eyes were practically spitting fire as he tried to grab Russell and crush his head, but his speed was no match for Russell's, especially since he was still in mid-air and couldn't catch him no matter what he did. He could only rage in vain.

"Even elderly ladies are more agile than you!"

Russell attacked from all directions, finishing with a heavy punch.

Like a missile being launched, the red tank suddenly accelerated, creating flames from friction with the air, and crashed straight through a mountain peak.

Bang!
The blast wave exploded and swept for miles, turning the forest into a meadow battered by a gale, with trees bent almost to the ground.

The mountains outside New York City resembled sand dunes that had been smashed open, kicking up dust, each grain of which was as large as a house and was thrown high into the air.

In the suburbs of New York, the ancient stone walls of Xavier's School suddenly trembled slightly.

The chalk in Storm's hand, which was giving a history lesson, snapped in two with a "snap," and the chalk dust slowly drifted away in the sunlight.

The students in the classroom looked at each other in bewilderment, then suddenly—

boom! ! !
The entire building shook violently, and textbooks on the bookshelves crashed to the ground with a clatter.

Kitty the Phantom Cat instinctively grabbed Colossus beside her, and Colossus's arm had already instinctively been coated with a metallic sheen.

"Earthquake?" The Rakshasa woman had just opened her mouth when a deafening explosion came from outside the window.

Everyone turned to look out the window—the Bear Mountain where they often went on picnics was being pierced by a deep red meteor.

The massive mountain appears to have been cleaved open by a god's fist, with rocks and trees hurled hundreds of meters into the air, creating a terrifying dust fountain.

“That’s not a shooting star.” Jean Grey closed her eyes and sensed it. “It’s the professor’s brother, Juggernaut.”

"That bastard who caused trouble at the academy last time and demolished half the castle? My treasured whisky collection is ruined—I'm going to settle the score with him!"

Wolverine stared out the window, his adamantium claws already extended from his fingers, gritting his teeth.

Professor X's wheelchair slid silently to the window, his long fingers pressed against his temples. "Not only him," Charles's voice was unusually tense, "there are...Infinite Man."

Before he could finish speaking, a figure in a white cloak streaked across the sky. Russell hovered above the collapsed mountain, about to activate his X-ray vision to scan the ruins.

Suddenly, the pile of rubble on the mountain exploded, and Red Tank roared as it leaped into the air, sending Russell soaring higher into the sky with an uppercut—

The shockwave spread to the college, causing the glass windows to rattle violently.

Several younger students cowered under their desks in fear, while the Rakshasa woman became excited: "That's so cool! Should we go help?"

Storm Ororo's eyes were already glowing white as she prepared for battle: "Charles? They won't end up fighting their way here and destroy the school, will they?"

"The Scarlet Witch has arrived too."

A red meteor enveloped in energy streaked across the sky, and Professor X's expression turned unusually grave. "They seem to be working together against Cain."

Few people know that Juggernaut is Professor X's half-brother. Long ago, when Professor X was a child, Juggernaut Cain Marco's father married his mother for the sake of Professor X's family's wealth.

“All students remain in the college,” Professor X finally ordered. “Jin, Logan, Ororo, come with me. Perhaps this is a good opportunity for us to have a good talk with that young man with unlimited potential.”

"He and Magneto recently conquered an island nation and took it over for themselves. I don't know what they're planning to do."

The red tank flew into the sky, only to be knocked back to the ground at an even faster speed.

Bear Mountain—the place that holds countless picnic memories for Xavier's School students—is now being destroyed like a building block toy in a battle between two super monsters.

"Like the stones in a latrine, they are both smelly and hard."

Russell was a little annoyed.

In the crater-like crater left by a meteorite impact, the Red Tank suffered minor injuries to its face, but it didn't seem serious when it stood up again.

Although he was confident that he could keep fighting and might be able to defeat the Juggernaut thanks to his immortality, he didn't know how long it would take.

Should I join in?

Wanda could tell the two were locked in a fierce battle, but she didn't intervene. She knew that men always had a strange sense of honor and a desire to win.

“No need, I will end this battle immediately.” Russell gazed into the distance, reaching out his hand as if searching for or sensing something.

"What are you looking at, little guy? I'm right here. Did I knock your head off?"

Slammed back to the ground, halfway through the fight, Russell suddenly stopped, looked into the distance, and roared angrily.

"Don't worry, you'll get your comeuppance soon!"

Russell turned back and gave a cold smile.

In Xavier's Academy, Wolverine, who was about to board a fighter jet, suddenly stopped and froze.

"What's wrong? Why aren't you moving, Logan?" The Rakshasa woman, who was walking behind him and whose path was blocked, was taken aback.

“There is… damn it…”

The metal skeleton was trapped by the powerful magnetic field and couldn't move. This familiar feeling made Wolverine swear. The next second, he suddenly flew towards the horizon, streaking across the sky like a shooting star.

"When did Logan learn to fly?"

Colossus was taken aback.

"I'm afraid it's not him."

The Storm Goddess looked at the horizon where Wolverine had disappeared with a strange expression.

"You're kidding me! After all this time, you've only scratched my itch..."

Red Tank sneered.

Suddenly, a sound of something cutting through the air was heard.

Wolverine on the horizon looked like a helpless little woman being forced into a corner, standing at attention as if he had been thrown a javelin.

The raised hands were forced to extend adamantium alloy claws, which gleamed coldly in the sunlight, and shot straight at the uncontrollable Red Tank.

"Ok?"

Red Tank stared wide-eyed in terror.

Adamantium, the only thing on Earth that can penetrate its defenses.

"My weapon is here, why aren't you saying anything more?" Russell chuckled.
