Chapter 69 Kenosha Enslaves Mutants

Enter Magneto's tent.

Under the lamplight, a world map lay on the table, with a deep red circle encircling a place.

"Mystique, I told you this before."

Magneto introduced the two to each other.

"This is the infinite number of people..."

Russell greeted Mystique, ignoring her curious stares, and turned to Magneto.

"Why did you call me over so late?"

Magneto slammed his fist on the table, pointing at the Pacific island nation circled in red on the map, and sneered.

“On that island, there was no tolerance or love for mutants, only deception and enslavement.” Mystique spread a stack of photos on the table.

"Kinosha?"

Russell's eyes flickered.

The photo appears to be from a dam construction site, where many mutants wearing collars around their necks, looking pale and sickly, are working hard, moving stones and mixing concrete.

The Kenosha people, armed with guns, acted like domineering warlords, bossing everyone around and urging them to work day and night.

"He actually tricked our people onto the island and then enslaved them like cattle, making them build dams and power plants!" Magneto was furious.

Wanda looked distressed and equally angry. Among the enslaved were the elderly, children, and women, all of whom looked exhausted and desperate, as if they had been enslaved for a long time.
