Chapter 789 Discusses the Difference Between the Main Universe and Its Derivative Universes

Chapter 789 Discusses the Difference Between the Main Universe and Its Derivative Universes

"The multiverse is a complex concept. Its initial definition came from parallel universes, but we later discovered that some universes deviate so abnormally that a considerable number of worlds are distorted beyond recognition. However, there are exceptions. Each universe itself does indeed give birth to its own infinite parallel universes."

"Among them, the 616 universe is the main axis, and the other universes that were born from it are the most numerous. This is also one of the proofs that the 616 universe is the most powerful universe."

Miguel had Lyra open a map of the multiverse. This map wasn't actually a map, but rather countless images of Earth superimposed with slight differences. Each universe was in motion, and the subtle variations in the vibrational frequencies produced by this motion made it possible to distinguish between different multiverses.

"This is also an important way to distinguish the multiverse. As long as the frequency range of resonance is determined, for example, based on the 616 universe, then a large number of parallel universes based on the 616 universe can be quickly located. For example, what I am talking about may be another universe where Otto Octavia succeeded, here."

Miguel then split off a universe: "We'll tentatively designate this universe as Earth TRN95 until we find its exact number and then assign it a location. It's a universe based on the prototype of universe 616, but it's just a prototype. Your universe has experienced too many unique events."

"For example?"

There are indeed many.

The two most basic ones are: Cindy Moon as a totem does not exist in other universes. Perhaps she still exists, but she is not the "Bride" in other universes, Peter is not the "Patriarch" in other universes, and Uncle Ben is dead.

These two factors created a number of other situations: the Avengers had no opportunity to gather intelligence from other universes, nor could they obtain the exclusive intelligence provided by Peter.

This has also led to a lot of disagreements. For example, the reason for the X-Men's reunion has changed. Originally, Peter was supposed to go to the Academy because of his physical condition, but it was the White Queen who pushed him. Spider-Men from other universes naturally do not have Peter's strength and so many changes. Mr. Negative is still a villain, and Venom from other universes is far from being so innocent, so there is no Anti-Venom.

The Kovak incident, however, was a completely different event that never occurred. Captain Marvel, Mar-Vell, revealed her identity and granted Carol superpowers in another way, so Gwen in that universe was naturally not a superpowered person. The absence of the Kovak incident meant that the Kang dynasty never happened, and that Kang in that universe was easily defeated. This led to another consequence: Ultron was not abolished by Pym.

Besides, Velasco and Limbo were not part of Iliana's journey in that universe. Peter remembered Iliana saying that quite a few Magiks use the portal to go in and out of Limbo every day, but most of them don't stop to take a look. For most people, the environment of Limbo is so bad that it is not a suitable place for exercise.

In addition, there's the matter of Mephisto. He didn't enter Earth in other universes, which prevented many things from happening.

"There may be other things, but in short, after removing all of these things, a 'basic universe' based on 616 is formed, from which a large number of other parallel universes are then derived."

"For example, regarding Earth TRN95, I initially thought the divergence in this universe stemmed from the Battle of Octopus City. Because no one from the Avengers came to help, Spider-Man was left to fight the Sinister Six alone, leading to his disappointment with the Avengers and his eventual departure. But now it seems that's not the case." Without his nanotech suit, without Anti-Venom or Venom, without other enhancements, and without any teammates, Spider-Man fought the entire Sinister Six and barely won. Doctor Octopus, the culprit, died. Then, Spider-Man, disappointed that the Avengers went to stop Kang but no one came to help, left the Avengers.

No, that's not the case. In the final battle, Doctor Octopus succeeded. He took over the body of Peter Parker in that universe, trapping Peter Parker's consciousness within his decaying body. However, this also caused him to transform, becoming the "Ultimate Spider-Man."

Peter remained silent for a long time, then looked at Miguel: "About how long ago was that?"

"The timeline is exactly the same as Earth-616. We discovered this universe about two weeks ago and tried to invite this 'Ultimate Spider-Man' to join the Spider-League, but he was clearly not interested."

"That means... it happened about half a year ago."

Peter looked at the universe with slightly complicated feelings, frowned, and then shook his head helplessly. Miguel looked at Peter and said, "You're planning to go and see, right? To investigate that ultimate Spider-Man who can travel through the multiverse."

“Yes, I need to know what he’s planning to do and why. If a multiverse-level spider totem organization has been established, then it must have its own plans and enemies. We now know that the Spider Legion has a grand plan; they are recruiting an army to fight an enemy, although I’m not sure if that enemy is Shasla. What we need to do is understand the truth about the Spider Legion incident and avoid being hunted by the successors and Shasla followers.”

So why did Otto Octavia from this alternate universe create anti-hero Spider-Men in different universes and recruit them all? Who exactly are his enemies that they are willing to provide such a large number of villainous gadgets to the Jackals of Earth 1616?

Or perhaps, this isn't actually an anti-hero, but simply the villainous Ultimate Spider-Man?
"Then when are you leaving?"

"When we leave doesn't really matter... Oh, wait, I might have to bring Cindy with me this time, since we already agreed."

After a moment of silence, Miguel turned to Peter and said, "This has nothing to do with me, and you don't need to tell me, my friend."

"Alright... I'll have to trouble you with the Spider Alliance matter. You seem to have quite a bit of free time."

Miguel was actually quite busy, but he still nodded: "I have a few suitable candidates for management, um... they should be able to help."
