Chapter 753 Seven Cities of Tiandu
Going to Kunlun is a very time-consuming endeavor. According to Iron Fist, he spent over a decade practicing martial arts there. Peter neither has the time nor the inclination. He simply wants to go to the Spider Kingdom and ask the Mountain Spider: "Can I have a beating, and then give me your heart?"

But later, an Eastern monarch did something called 'severing the connection between heaven and earth.'"

"Simply put, he severed the connection between the gods and the mortal world. The gods could no longer interfere with anything in the mortal world. As a result, the ancient myths soon ceased to have any influence on the earth. Later, newer myths, or fairy tales, were born. These new gods were based on stories of people at that time. Many of them were even originally humans who, after death, merged with the stories and became gods in a similar way."

So Kamar-Taj knows nothing about what happened in the Heart of Heaven, or how it shattered into the Seven Cities of Heaven. Not only does Kamar-Taj not know, but the gods themselves don't know either. They are all too young; a significant portion of their existence has not exceeded two thousand years, so it's impossible for them to know what happened before.

"And what about the seven cities of Tiandu now?"

"The current Heavenly Court pantheon is basically located in Kunlun. They have followed the tradition of their ancestors, which is to sever the connection between heaven and earth. They have almost no contact with the mortal world. Apart from occasionally recruiting some servants and disciples—which the locals call 'seeking immortality and asking questions'—they have almost no contact with the outside world."

Strange essentially explained the situation in the Seven Cities of Heaven: nobody knew what was going on inside, not even Iron Fist himself, since he trained there and emerged as Iron Fist. Peter nodded wistfully after hearing this, then returned to his seat on the Sanctum Sanctorum sofa. This cryptic information seemed crucial; everyone could see it likely involved a major event. However, Peter was now indifferent, like someone who had become numb to the dangers of life. He already knew of so many terrible, impending disasters, one after another, and had no time to concern himself with such matters.

It's better to ask for other information.

"Speaking of which, do you really not need to give me this Bloodstone Amulet? I always feel that this thing is very dangerous. It only needs one Bloodstone from our world to summon Xisorn, so it doesn't seem very safe to keep it with me."
