Chapter 738 Spider Web Gods: I'm going to work at 8 AM!
Earth 51821, the headquarters of the Spider Legion.

With each tremor, the four spider-web gods residing in the Pantheon stood up and looked at each other in bewilderment.

"what happened?"

The Web of Fate was trembling violently, as if it were under some great threat, but on the other hand, Shasra was certainly not released, because the Web of Fate had not been damaged in any way.

This strange situation puzzled the Spider Gods. After examining the entire Web of Fate, Anansi gave a perplexing answer: "Well, it seems that our patriarch from Earth 616 is fighting with Sithon. At least Sithon's energy is being transmitted through the Web of Fate."

"...Which Sithon?"

"God of Black Magic, God of Darkness, Primordial Fire..."

Spider-Man, the Sorcerer Supreme, interrupted Anansi's rambling: "What exactly is going on? Has Sithon invaded the Web of Fate?"

"Not yet, but he is constantly opening rifts to the Web of Fate, the one used to traverse the multiverse. The more rifts he opens, the greater the extent of the rifts, the greater the possibility of Sithon's infiltration."

"Should we save them or not?" asked Jean Grey, the Phoenix Spider. She looked quite young, probably in her early twenties, and because she was one of the few spider totems who wasn't Peter Parker or Peter Parker's circle of friends, she often couldn't understand the thought processes of Peter Parker and his ilk.

After a moment of silence, the Sorcerer Supreme Spider-Man looked at the Phoenix Spider: "Can you imagine what would happen if the patriarch fell into the hands of Sithon? The God of Dark Magic has gained control of the celestial map of the souls of all beings in the multiverse?"

"Perhaps we can persuade him to leave?"

“Then you really don’t understand what Peter Parker is.” Spider-Man, the Black Emperor, sat there. “Peter Parker will never back down, because there are people he needs to fight, and more importantly, there are reasons for him to fight.”

Jean Grey looked at the two Peter Parkers present and asked, "Do you two both have some kind of serious illness?"
"In other words, as long as we intend to continue our plans, we must help the 'patriarch' deal with that damned Sithon."

After the Sorcerer Supreme Spider-Man finished speaking, he sighed: "Dealing with Sythoth requires magic. I have to go, and Phoenix, you go too. We need the power of life and emotion to fight him, but we also need to leave someone here to guard the place. Deadpool's condition has been unstable."

Theoretically, there are five Web Gods, but Deadpool and Spider-Man are unable to participate for some reason and need someone to guard them. Anansi volunteered to take on this responsibility: "You know I'm not good at fighting, so I won't go."

The black-clad emperor ignored Anansi and instead asked, "Where is the battle taking place?"

"It should be... the border of hell."

“That area isn’t covered by the symbiotic network, so there’s not much difference between me going there and not going. I’ll stay.” At this point, the black-clad emperor suddenly realized something was amiss: “Speaking of which, with the Web of Fate facing such a huge crisis, why is Nice still missing?”

"Pain is a self-defense mechanism of the human body. When you feel pain, you know that there is danger. For superheroes, this danger warning is even more important. You know what the good news is? The good news is that I don't need physical pain to know danger because I have spider-sense."

"The bad news is that the spider senses never stop when there's danger!"

Peter felt he was talking to the levitation cloak, because while he was talking to himself, he also had to stretch out his hands to activate his abilities, tearing apart the reality of this summoning space and trying to make it grow larger and larger. Therefore, he hardly did any other movements; the levitation cloak was basically pulling him around aimlessly.

Strange's magic greatly reduced the alarm effects of his spider-sense. The King, the Voodoo Doctor, and the Dark Consortium began casting spells to solidify the reality rifts, but to little avail, because Peter saw with his own eyes some writhing, bright, magma-like substance covering the reality rifts, and then the reality rifts began to repair themselves.

He knew that if left unattended, the rift in reality he had torn open would slowly heal, but Strange could accelerate it with magic. (Peter could do that now too.) But this was the first time he had ever seen someone actively use other matter to fill a rift in reality. The levitation cloak seemed to be having a lot of fun, or perhaps it was in a real hurry, as Peter was being carried around at an incredible speed through the air. Every now and then, he would glance back and see large amounts of gushing lava rushing towards his original spot.

That said, it's quite bizarre that the embodiment of Sithon, a god of dark magic, is magma.

On the ground, Strange was still making preparations. If Mephisto were to get involved in this mess, it would actually be easier for him, as Mephisto's magical skills were far superior.

While maintaining stability within the magic group, Strange was also assigning tasks to the others.

"Alright, Blade, Elsa, Moon Knight, Iron Fist... and of course Ghost Rider, you guys are responsible for holding Velasco back and preventing him from interfering with us. Remember, this is very important."

As Strange spoke, he added, "Velasco mainly uses dark magic, and other than that, he has superhuman physical strength and swordsmanship. I'll handle the dark magic aspect, and the rest is up to you. Remember, even without dark magic, you saw the battle between Velasco and Magik earlier. He's incredibly strong, so you'd better rely on Ghost Rider to tank the damage."

"Also, remember you have an ace up your sleeve, Bloodstone."

"Don't worry." Bloodstone himself waved his hand: "If I sense something is wrong, I'll run away on my own."

Watching the team that had taken down Velasco leave, Strange then looked at his next target: "Genki? I know you're feeling tired and mentally exhausted right now, but I need you to do something that only you can do. You need to defeat your counterpart on the frontier and secure your position as the Sorcerer Supreme on the frontier. I believe you can do it."

Iliana sighed and stood up: "You know what? I just glanced at her, and that girl is forty centimeters taller than me! Forty centimeters! How am I supposed to fight someone that big...?"

That's your own problem.

After everyone had left, Wanda walked up to Strange and asked, "What about me? What am I supposed to do? Deal with Velasco's dark magic, or help Miss Rasputin fight her own inner demons?"

“You are my trump card, Miss Maximov. I don’t need you to make a move until the very last moment.”

Wanda nodded, then asked, "So, what are your plans to do next to counter Velasco's dark magic?"

Strange smiled and took out a spellbook with a human face on it.

"Oh, about that, I have way too many cards."

To be honest, there's very little slice-of-life content in this book, mainly because the author doesn't know how to write slice-of-life scenes. Whenever they try, they get writer's block, really bad...

Magik is 1.65 meters tall, which is relatively short for an American comic book character.

The only character that came to mind was Wolverine, who was shorter than her.
