The bait Strange brought wasn't just Wanda and Elsa; Wanda's chaos magic was something Sythorn was interested in, and the Bloodstone from Earth-616 was key to Sythorn's ability to descend upon Earth-616. Add to that Magik's ability to teleport to Earth-616.

And yet, nothing happened?
Furthermore, none of the so-called magical heroes outside came to stop it, which is very unreasonable. Upon closer inspection, it can be discovered that Iliana's other half of her soul was protected by magic.

In an instant, Velasco thought of many things. This spell was black magic. If white magic was used to protect Iliana's soul, then theoretically it would protect the entire soul and would not be able to tear apart half of her essence. In other words, the magic protecting Iliana's soul must be black magic. He forcibly intervened in the ritual and, on the premise of ensuring that Iliana's soul would not dissipate, allowed Velasco to continue the entire ritual.

The thought of this problem instantly made Velasco restless. He immediately left Iliana, abandoning her to his Hellfront counterpart. He then jumped into the air to assess the situation. Soon, he saw how it all had happened: Earth 616's Sorcerer Supreme, Strange, holding a handful of scrolls, had enveloped all his team members in a magical field while simultaneously casting powerful dark magic.

The moment Velasco saw the scroll, he gasped and then burst into maniacal laughter that could be heard clearly by the Sons of Midnight, kilometers away.

"Hahahaha, you actually... you actually brought the Dark Book?" Velasco laughed until tears streamed down his face. "You must think that you rabble, along with these fools on the border of hell, can deal with the great Chthon, right? Your target is Chthon? You actually dare to oppose Him?!"

Strange said nonchalantly, while casting a spell to pull Iliana back from the beating: "What's wrong with that? It's just an evil god. I've fought countless evil gods in my life."

Upon hearing this, Peter asked, "Are you sure? If we can stop Sithon from fully descending, that would be great, but if not..."

“Sithon is powerful, of course I know. Descending into a medium-sized extradimensional space like Limbo, he could very well destroy the entire dimension.” Strange looked at Peter. “Trust me, Spider-Man, I have a backup plan.” Strange wasn’t lying; he really did have a backup plan. However, Peter wasn’t sure if Strange’s plan could truly handle Sithon. He hesitated for a moment, then Strange continued, “Don’t worry, even if Sithon descends here, I can still bring everyone back. Are you relieved now?”

"To be honest... no."

"It's too late, Velasco has already begun the summoning."

Strange's tone remained calm. He had been stopping Peter and others from doing something all for this moment. The ever-crimson sky over Limbo had now turned a dark, pure black, with lightning flashing silently. Then came a dazzling bright red, making the entire sky shine like lava spewing from an erupting volcano.

The ground began to tremble, the air began to stagnate, and the native demons of the border of hell scattered and fled, trying to find a new way out. Then, the entire earth involuntarily rotated and writhed in one direction, and the strata collided spontaneously, forming a spiral mountain peak that shot towards the sky.

In that instant, Peter's spider-sense, far surpassing that of any enemy he had faced before, struck him almost instantly. Peter collapsed to the ground, nearly unconscious from the pain, almost for the first time. Wanda, who was standing nearby, was terrified and ran to Peter's side, crouching down as she looked at Strange: "Are you sure your plan will work?"

“Of course it’s feasible. He’s just affected by the perception of the Web of Fate. Wait a moment, I’ll cast a spell that can lessen his pain.”

As Peter's pain gradually subsided, he stood up with Wanda's help, then looked helplessly at Strange: "That's the downside of spider-sense, isn't it? It can detect even the most dangerous enemies."

"Yeah, that's why we have to rely on you, Spider-Man. If you leave, what will we fight?"

Strange laughed as he let the levitation cape land on Peter's shoulder, then looked up and said, "Hurry up, Spider-Man, it's up to you to stop Sithon from coming."

“Of course not. Spider-Man’s power comes from the Web of Fate, and even the Web of Fate itself is no match for Sithon, let alone him.” Strange said, putting away the Dark Book. “But the more he uses his power, the more the Web of Fate trembles and becomes unstable.”

"Then those so-called Spider Web Gods will be more able to sense the danger."
