Chapter 734 The Rise of Velasco
The Dark Consortium, a name no one has ever heard of.

The only thing Strange was certain of was that these guys really were the kind of very traditional and stereotypical devils. Although they looked and dressed rather human-like, considering that the form of a devil itself doesn't really matter, their true form might be very abstract.

However, none of the people present, not even Velasco himself, realized that this group of people were not Velasco's helpers; they were merely the helpers of the master of Hell's Border. As for who the master was, that was none of their concern.

This is very strange. Strange looked at them, then turned to Iliana: "This doesn't make sense, unless you believe your masters are two at the same time. Or perhaps, you are..."

Given the devil's abilities and way of thinking, it's highly likely that he could make Iliana's demon form remember certain things while her human form forgets them, and this would definitely be to their advantage, as evidenced by what they've been doing lately.

"No, we have not made any decisions concerning the Lord of the Borderlands himself."

Seemingly noticing what Strange was about to say, the leading member of the Dark Consortium spoke first: "We were just offering a suggestion. After all, the master of Limbo doesn't like managing Limbo herself. She always needs someone to help her with the trivial matters here, and we... are very good at that."

Strange seemed to hear the group's snickers, so he waved his hand, summoning not only King and Ghost Rider, but also Peter, Ironfist, Blade, Moon Knight, and Doctor Voodoo. Peter looked somewhat confused when he saw the demons around him: "Wait, Mephisto isn't here?"

“No, I’m pretty sure Mephisto isn’t coming.” Strange said, looking at the group of demons and then at Iliana, who was staring at Velasco. “The question now is, what does your Dark Corporation need?”

The Dark Corporation remained silent, or rather, Strange understood why they didn't speak; they believed the answer was meaningless, beyond the comprehension of mortals. Strange then turned to Velasco: "And you? The defeated Velasco? Are you planning to take us and Iliana on your own? Don't forget, you are no longer the master of Limbo."

"Wait, didn't we kill Velasco when he was the master of Limbo?"

Peter muttered something under his breath next to Strange, but not so quietly that both the Dark Corporation and Velasco heard it. Velasco looked at the group with a mocking rage, then clenched his fist.

"You really think you have victory in your grasp? Or do you think I'm some kind of clown or comedian?! Enough! Today I'll make you pay! Even if I'm no longer the lord of Hell's Frontier, I'm still a powerful dark mage!"

Velasco summoned his longsword and pointed it at Iliana, who was staring at him: "Come on, my apprentice, let's have a one-on-one duel and see who is the true master of the frontier of hell!"

Strange and Peter exchanged a glance and suddenly felt something was very wrong. They had previously analyzed what Velasco wanted most, and in this situation, fighting for leadership of Limbo was not his best option.

Of course, Iliana, who had been staring at Velasco in silence for quite some time, suddenly swung her sword at the hydra she had summoned, accompanied by a chilling, low laugh. The hydra, sent flying, crashed straight into Velasco.

Almost simultaneously, Peter's Spider-Sense shadow vision spotted Velasco suddenly appearing behind Elsa. He immediately switched his Nanosuit to Speed Suit mode and swiftly caught Velasco's sneak attack from behind Elsa with his Dragon Fang Sword. In that instant, not only Velasco, but many of his teammates looked at Peter in surprise, completely unaware that he could use this move.

"Haha, this was indeed your trap! You really went all out! A user of chaos magic and a holder of a bloodstone from Universe 616!"

Having exchanged a sword strike with Peter, Velasco used brute force to force Peter back, then jumped back to create distance: "You really dare to go all out, don't you? Didn't you know I could tell this was a trap? Since I knew this was a trap, why did I dare to come here?!" A dense flame ignited in Velasco's left hand, as if something terrifying was gathering, but in the next instant, golden light shone beneath his feet, and then, the demonized Iliana appeared behind Velasco.

"Why is that, my dear teacher!"

The Soul Sword struck Velasco, but surprisingly, it caused no damage. He was completely unfazed by Iliana's attack, even having the audacity to mock her: "My good student, don't you know? I am blessed by the great Sithon; I cannot be harmed! And you! This time! You're finished!"

The flames engulfed the surrounding land for dozens of kilometers in an instant. The Dark Consortium teleported away in an instant, and then some of them began to discuss what to do next.

Who do you think won?

"How could this move possibly determine a winner? There's still a long fight ahead. However, Velasco is indeed invulnerable to blades and spears, and there are very few ways to harm him. The little girl is now demonized and not thinking clearly. I wonder if her henchmen can drive Velasco out."

The demons, who had been chatting idly, fell silent as Strange appeared beside them.

“Alright, friends, although at first I was thinking about how to persuade you with Mephisto around, it seems there’s no need now.” Strange walked over to them. “To lure out Velasco, we brought a user of chaos magic and a Bloodstone… that’s her name. And these are things Velasco, or rather, Sithon, needs. So, what do you think Velasco would do if she were to stop at nothing?”

The demons of the Dark Consortium immediately understood: "He can't summon Sithon on Earth 616, so he plans to summon him here? Then we're willing to help."

“Very good.” Strange nodded in satisfaction, then continued, “What exactly do you want?”

"What we want are the assets of those hosts, such as money, land, resources, and influence."

Strange waited a moment, then looked at the devils with confusion: "And then what, what are you going to do with these assets?"

“We don’t want anything, we just want these assets, that’s all we want.”

At that moment, Strange understood why these guys hadn't revealed their true intentions before.

Because ordinary people simply cannot understand it.
