Chapter 66 Stealing Your Opportunity!

Earth 700, Brooklyn, New York.

Peter (our protagonist) only vaguely remembers the plot of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, but after he travels to this universe, he almost immediately determines his own timeline—Miles hasn't been bitten yet.

Because New York had just experienced its second earthquake, in other words, this was the second time Kingpin in this universe had activated the shuttle. At this time, Gwen Stacy, the Spider from Earth-65 in the original storyline, arrived here, and due to the influence of the multiverse collider, she traveled back a week.

In other words, the Peter Parker in this universe should have just created the key to stop the shuttle, but hasn't taken action yet.

Peter toured the high schools near Brooklyn and successfully found Vision School, where Miles attended, but he couldn't find Gwen Stacy, who was supposed to have crossed over into the story and disguised herself as a high school student.

A large spider with the number "42" and the words "Alchemy Company" on its back, and all eight of its legs glowing, was wandering not far away.

In an instant, the spider looked at Peter, and Peter looked at the spider as well. His spider senses buzzed, and his attention was also focused on the spider. Spider number 42 seemed to have noticed something, so he raised one of his legs.

With a "snap," the spider web quickly caught the little spider. Peter tiptoed over to the spider, picked it up, and the spider wriggled its eight legs restlessly before opening its sharp mandibles and biting Peter's hand hard.

At that moment, Miles and Aaron Davis were directly beneath him. Peter endured the pain and then heard Miles yell, "Brooklyn!" He breathed a sigh of relief, removed the spider from his hand, and put it into the reptile box.

"It won't do you any good if you bite me... I'm already Spider-Man, oh, just please don't turn me into a humanoid spider or an eight-legged spider."

Peter muttered something and slipped away to the side, quietly climbing over the wall and disappearing. Meanwhile, Miles, completely unaware that his fate had been altered, had already begun his stylish graffiti work. Only the Wanderer sensed something, looked up, but saw nothing.

"What's wrong, Uncle Aaron?" "No, nothing, let's continue."

Peter, having quietly slipped out of the subway station, breathed a sigh of relief. The next task was simple: find the Spider-Man of this world, tell him what he knew, then work together to stop Kingpin from bringing multiple universes together and causing a collision crisis, and finally send the Spider-Man of universe 42 back to bite Miles of that universe. Then everything would be accomplished.

Then, as he was swinging in Brooklyn, he felt his spider-sense begin to sting. He quickly swung on his web to dodge, but it seemed that his movements were predicted. He was kicked to the top of a building and rolled around before standing up.

Peter was so frightened that he quickly looked at the box. Fortunately, the spider from Universe 42 was very resilient and was still jumping around inside.

Before he could even stand up straight, he heard a... somewhat unfamiliar voice.

"At first I didn't believe the news of another Spider-Man in New York, but now I have to. Chameleon? I thought you were doing well in jail."

A Spider-Man, slightly taller than him, landed in front of Peter in a standard superhero manner, stood up straight, and pointed at him: "Go back to prison, you imposter!"

"What? No, I'm not an imposter."

Peter patted his chest, then looked at Spider-Man in front of him: "Why are you pointing at me?"

"I wasn't pointing at you, you're the one pointing at me..."

"616? The universe with the strongest reality barrier?" Spider-Man 2099 said as he leaped off a tall building to chase after the two Spider-Men who had already left. "Never mind, we have to stop the Web Project from being destroyed no matter what."
