Chapter 101 Extreme Danger
Monday of the fourth week of September was a day Peter had expected to be a good day, but it turned out to be quite the opposite. Because today, a supervillain suddenly appeared without warning—or rather, without warning.

Rhino Man.

Peter knew he needed to prepare a strategy to deal with the Rhino Man after Osborn Technologies' artificial metal polymer skin was stolen, but he didn't expect them to appear so quickly. He'd been busy dealing with the Scorpions these past few days, never imagining the Rhino Man would show up.

The opponent stood three meters tall. This wasn't due to natural height; the metallic polymer skin paired with a gray-black metallic exoskeleton made the rhino look ferocious. His exoskeleton, with exposed hydraulic rods, covered almost his entire body in thick armor. The small areas not covered were protected by gray metallic skin, giving him a muscular appearance. His massive, heavy metallic horn, while not sharp, was also striking.

It looks almost exactly like the rhino in the Marvel's Spider-Man game, except that it even has a metallic skin.

“I met a guy named Velen before, and he built himself a magnificent set of wheels as a weapon. Are you called Rhino?” Peter joked as he swung up to the rhino, covering its face with a spider web while simultaneously channeling electricity through the web.

The powerful electric current instantly caused black smoke to billow from the rhinoceros's entire body; it even opened its mouth and exhaled black smoke. But to Peter's surprise, the rhinoceros remained standing. It even turned towards Peter, then lowered its head and charged forward.

"Or, did you get bitten by a radiation-mutated rhinoceros? A mutated rhinoceros-man?"

A graceful somersault evaded the rhinoceros's charge, while simultaneously launching powerful spider silk to hook onto the rhinoceros's back, preventing it from crashing into her while forcefully dragging it to minimize property damage.

"Come on, man, say something!"

Spider-Man, pulling hard on the rhino, was utterly exasperated: "Are you really a living person and not some rhino robot? Or something sitting inside a rhino mech?"

"As long as I control the level of destruction, you Avengers won't send out the Hulk, so you'll have to spend time dealing with me."

Peter was shocked when Rhino spoke in his Russian-accented English. He immediately realized that this guy, who had scared away passersby, smashed several shops and more than a dozen cars, and who had told Captain America that Spider-Man alone could handle him, was actually stalling for time.

"What are you trying to stall for time for!"

Without uttering a word, the rhino simply lifted an unmanned car and hurled it at Spider-Man. Peter Parker leaped high into the air, using his webs to catch the car, which then crashed onto the rhino. Unlike the terrifying sight of a car wobbling after being hit, the rhino remained unmoved.

But what he needed to do was already over.

"Economic News: Wilson Fisker, chairman of the Fisker Group, surrendered to police and admitted to concealing three federal felonies. Now let's take a look at the live report."

On a large screen on a roadside building, Fisk, dressed in a suit and tie, appeared. He was already handcuffed and calmly looked at the reporters: "I am very grateful to my wife. She has always guided me on what is right and what is wrong. She... has made up for the psychological trauma I suffered since childhood. For my wife's sake, I will voluntarily return my illegal gains, pay three times the amount in compensation, and make sufficient compensation to all the victims' families."

The devil in the white suit revealed a sincere expression and said, "Of course, I know it's not enough to make up for the harm I've done to them. But I hope that our city, our community, can become a better place because of my actions..."

Did Kim Jong-un turn himself in?

why?
Kingpin surrendered himself to the authorities even though we hadn't obtained any evidence, or even just suspected him.

“Raft Prison…” Connecting the horror of the past two days and the mysterious man’s transfer to Raft Prison, Peter immediately understood.

This isn't a confession; it's seeking asylum. Because if all the crimes involving his superpowers are exposed, Kingpin won't end up in a New York prison, but in a raft prison under UN jurisdiction, outside of US sovereignty. The raft prison has no human guards, and no influence Kingpin has built up. If he goes there, he'll truly have nothing left.

This is why Daredevil still thinks Kingpin should be sent to prison, because there is now a prison that Kingpin cannot escape from.

So, if Kingpin's business has already been completed in stages, what difference does it make whether he goes to jail or not? In fact, the evidence that hasn't been found yet may have already been destroyed.

Peter was still reeling when he suddenly noticed something: the rhinoceros hadn't attacked him.

"My mission is complete, and I've received my money."

Rhino looked at Peter calmly, as if he were about to surrender, but Peter was even more confused: "If Kingpin wanted to turn himself in, no one could stop him. Why do you need to run around in the street and cause a scene?!"

"This makes absolutely no sense!"

“I don’t know,” Rhino said honestly, then explained further, “All I know is that they told me that if news of Kingpin’s arrest arrives, it means my job is done. The only one I need to hold off is you, Spider-Man. You’re a busybody, and if I get into trouble, you’ll definitely be there before the other Avengers.”

"Even the fact that you're only free at this time was something they told me."

Now you finally have time...?
No, no further explanation about rhinoceroses is needed.

Peter specifically instructed Jarvis to monitor his friends and their families in real time to prevent potential dangers. In case of any potential issues, he could immediately evacuate them. This naturally included Cindy, since the current S.H.I.E.L.D. might just be a snake-like organization that is not trustworthy at all.

Now, Jarvis has shown him footage of scorpions emerging from the sewers near Mu En's house.

“Alexei! I know it’s you! Listen!” Peter roared at the rhinoceroses, and the rhinoceroses whose names were called froze in place.

"You...you don't want to do these things, right? Then stay here and wait for the Avengers to arrest you!"

After saying these words, Spider-Man leaped into the air and swung his webs into the distance. Rhino, upon hearing this, obediently sat down on the ground, propping his chin up and remaining motionless.

"Jarvis, connect the call to the Mu En family!"

Communication has been blocked.

"Then connect Spiderweb's call!"

In the nick of time, as soon as the call connected, Cindy heard Peter's urgent shout: "Cindy, where are you?"

"I'm on my way home. I didn't have training today. What's wrong?"

“Scorpion, I mean, McDonald Gagan, the gunman you stopped when I was dealing with Mysterio, he's been modified by the radioactive scorpion and he's heading towards your house, you…”

Cindy hung up the phone, while Peter gritted his teeth and dialed another channel.

"Captain?! Tony?! I need the Avengers!"

Four types of Rhino: Polymer Skin: Comic Book Version; Mutant: Ultimate Spider-Man Animation and Kraven Movie; Robot: The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Movie; Exoskeleton: Marvel's Spider-Man Games.

This book features a polymer-skinned exoskeleton armor set, which is likely the most powerful version.
