Chapter 31: Re-evaluation of The First Sequence

Title: The First Sequence: The Shock Brought by Seven Thanks

Hu Ge posted on Weibo today, announcing that he is endorsing the China Literature IP, listing three books and also filming a promotional video.

I also wrote an article in time to introduce the three books and watched the promotional videos carefully.

Logically speaking, this article should not be written.

However, those words kept lingering in my mind for a long time and seriously affected my writing of my own novel "The Mirrored Giant".

This is why I wrote this article, not for fame or fortune, but just because of the restlessness in my heart!

"The First Sequence", author: Talking Elbow.

In a certain chapter, Ren Xiaosu awakens his ability:
“For the first time, I’m grateful that I never backed down when faced with an opportunity.”

"The second time, I thanked myself for never flinching in the face of danger."

"For the third time, I thank myself for never giving in when facing hardship."

"For the fourth time, I'm grateful that I always have a bottom line when facing temptation."

“For the fifth time, I thank myself for never being hypocritical.”

"For the sixth time, I thanked myself for being sober and never hesitated."

"For the seventh time, I thank myself for singing and overcoming all obstacles in the quagmire of life!"

People who are familiar with me should have an impression of me.

On April 15, the day when Talking Elbow first published "The First Sequence", ten chapters were released in a row. I wrote "Ten Chapters of Poison Testing" at that time.

I was honored to have that book review selected and published on the official WeChat account of Qidian Chinese Network. The editor (column lady) was even so kind as to give me a signed copy of "My Great Lord".

This is the first signed copy of an online novel I have ever received. It is very memorable!
According to my habit of writing book reviews, I generally don’t recommend the same book repeatedly.

I like to explore new things and write different books, especially books I have not read.

But I have promoted "The First Sequence" many times in different ways, especially the fan short stories.

When I read the above paragraph "Seven Thanks", I initially thought that the author was padding the word count and that the weapon unlocking process was a bit long-winded.

But when it was read out from Hu Ge's mouth today, it gave people a special feeling.

[Sentiment]

Never be timid in the face of opportunities.

Reality teaches us that opportunity often favors those who are prepared. Only when opportunities arise can we seize them. Accumulating knowledge and building upon it over time will allow us to better seize opportunities. Don't be timid.

Never be afraid when facing danger.

The reason why online novels are passionate and exciting is that the protagonists can always face danger head-on. Even if they are temporarily roundabout and forbearing, it is for the big explosion later.

Never compromise in the face of hardships.

Tribulation and danger always come with it. Uncompromising means resistance, resistance, a spirit that can be traced back to a very profound and lofty realm. We just need to remember that today's tribulations are accumulated experience for tomorrow's success.

When faced with temptation, stick to your bottom line.

This is even more significant. In "Laughing Bugs," Season 2, Episode 35, "Iceberg," Da Huang and Xiao Hong, after enduring countless hardships, finally return to their room. Upon seeing the small cake on the table, their previous love for each other is instantly forgotten. This is the popular commentary about "We can share hardships, but not happiness!" How many people, instead of falling prey to the ravages of war, are easily defeated by sugar-coated bullets.

Never hypocritical.

Ren He in "I'm a Big Player" is the author's real name; Lü Shu in "Lord Spare Me, Great Lord" is mean and servile; and Ren Xiaosu in "The First Sequence" is the name of the author's son. Few people would choose such authentic names as the protagonists of their stories. These settings all demonstrate the author's consistent portrayal of authentic characters. Authenticity is, in fact, a valuable quality.

As clear-headed as ever, never hesitating.

This is strikingly similar to the motto "never forget your original aspiration," and I'm not exaggerating. How many authors still remember their original aspirations for writing? How many readers remember their original aspirations for reading online? And how many people remember their original aspirations for studying, working, and living?

The quagmire of life allows me to sing and overcome all obstacles along the way.

There are always some people who lament the unfairness of fate and wonder why they were not born into a wealthy family. However, they fail to see that it is precisely because life is full of hardships that one can forge noble character, understand the difficulties of life, cherish every progress in life, and ultimately achieve one's dreams.

[Summary] Doomsday disaster is scary, but also not scary!
Disasters expose human nature;
Hope keeps people moving forward!

original,

Hope is the first weapon that mankind has when facing danger!

And Elbow is indeed worthy of being called the "first sequence" by a group of great masters and platinum writers!
【Cang's Ramblings】

I wrote this article in one go, expressing my true feelings.

No tricks or pretense!

When I recommend books, I not only look for them myself, but also refer to readers' opinions.

But when writing, I always follow my heart, commonly known as following my heart.

In the past, I would also make rankings against my will just for the sake of reading volume.

Write ten book reviews first, and then use these reviews to sort them mindlessly like permutations and combinations.

Another stupid title:

Among the top ten classic Xianxia heroes, "The Great Ruler" is fourth, who is first?

Among the top ten classic works, "Panlong" ranks fifth. Who is the first?

Among the top ten classic online novels, "Mortal" ranks third. Who is the champion?

Among the top ten classic cities, "The King's Avatar" is not the first.

Among the top ten science fiction works, the first one is not "The Three-Body Problem", but this one.

Among the top ten suspense works, "Ghost Blows Out the Light" was actually defeated by this book.

It works, but it's boring.

(First of all, I have never queued it!)

Although the book recommendations written with these titles have a high degree of content overlap and are easily detected by the system, as long as they pass the review, the number of readers will definitely increase dramatically.

Many friends have always loved this.

But it will only take a while, not long, maybe 3 months.

You will find that ranking has become boring.

The articles I wrote are meaningless, except for the rewards at the beginning.

When running an account, whether it is a self-media account or an author account, the key is to be attentive and be able to output energy in a sustained manner.

Without talking about anything grand and glorious, just launching different books is much more meaningful than mindlessly ranking them.

Of course, some people may argue: ranking is also very brain-intensive, okay?

I can only say that it’s because you didn’t learn permutations and combinations well.

No matter what business you are in, taking shortcuts will only be temporary, as time will test everything.

Just like those well-known platinum and great writers, no matter how good the reputation is, it still needs to be tested by the market.

The market is actually always changing.

Following the market is never as advanced as leading the market!

And "The First Sequence" is really leading the market.

Talking Elbow, his success is not accidental.

As a post-95s, his head full of white hair is definitely not caused by idleness.

Writing is not easy, so cherish every moment!

Every author is an angel fallen into the mortal world~
