Chapter 14: Order of the Holy Rose

Chapter 14: Order of the Holy Rose
"How should we train nuns?" Chen Xi touched his chin and suddenly found himself in an awkward situation.

Although he was playing with the Sisters and had Sisters pawns in his hands, his understanding of the Sisters of Combat was not very deep. Not only had he not read much of the official novels of the Sisters of Combat, he had not even read the Codex of the Sisters of Combat. He had only touched the index when he was at the table and writing military tables.

So he really didn't know how to train a unit of battle sisters in the 40k era.

However, he was not particularly embarrassed. Instead, he took out his mobile phone and contacted a group member in his Warhammer group who mainly played Battle Sister.

"Ezi, do you know how to recruit and train combat nuns in 40k?" Chen Xi asked the other party his question.

This is a rare female Hammer player in the Warhammer group that Chen Xi belongs to. She is a senior player with a Battle Sister chess piece of about 4000 points.

"Recruit and train combat nuns? Just build a monastery! Once the monastery is built, just apply to the Sisters' Order in the star region for admission. The Sisters' Order generally won't refuse." Ezi quickly sent a reply to Chen Xi and asked curiously, "Why are you asking this? I saw the pictures you posted in the group before. Are you planning something big? If you have something good, take me with you!"

"It's not a big deal, I just want to understand." Chen Xi didn't reveal anything, just said a few simple words.

Now is not the time to tell my friends in the group that I can travel through time, and I don’t have enough foundation.

However, Chen Xi still asked Ezi, "If you could travel through the Warhammer world, what would you want to do?"

"Traveling through the Warhammer world? Goose wants to be a super big guy with muscles all over his brain! I want to try what it feels like to smash the bad can's head into his cavity with one punch!" Goose sent a statement that was completely inconsistent with her image.

Chen Xi looked at Goose's words, his mind in a knot, but he still replied, "A biochemically modified human from the Necromonda Goliath family? Then I'd have to go to the Escher family and kidnap a few fitness godmothers to inject you with growth hormone."

"Yeah, yeah! That super big guy with a pointy head and a brain full of muscles!" Ezi responded excitedly, feeling an urge to go and have fun with Brother Gaomao.

Chen Xi really didn't know what to say about this, so he just asked, "Aren't you playing a nun?"

"Yeah, but Bomb Girl isn't strong enough, not waaaagh enough! But I don't really want to play an orc." Goose's answer was very orc-like.

Chen Xi couldn't help but wonder, if she traveled to the Warhammer world and became an orc, would she become a warboss comparable to Gaishigu?

However, this was not the end. After Chen Xi learned from E Zi how to recruit and train combat nuns, he ended the conversation with E Zi.

Turning his attention back to his model stand, Chen Xi picked and chose from the chess pieces of the battle sisters, preparing to choose the right one to put into Rostov II.

He now has about two hundred points to use. If he were to deploy them into combat teams, probably two teams of people would be able to fill up these points.

But if he were to join a special unit, Chen Xi estimated that he could probably join four or five.

After thinking for a while, he took down the Battle Sisters' Grand Sister (50 points), Court Officer (50 points), Dogmatist (45 points), and Secretary Sister (40 points) from the shelf one by one. After estimating the scores, he had to put down the Medical Sister (50 points) with regret.

(High Sister) (Court Officer)

(Dogmatic Officer)

(Sister Secretary)
(Medical Sister)
At present, he has invested a total of Eisenhorn (65 points), the Battle Sisters Squad (100 points) and the Kashejin Commando (100 points). If these four pieces are included now, he will have just used up the 500 points in his hand.

Although it is a bit regrettable that there is one less medical sister, it has at least completed the required combat sister chess pieces.

The Grand Sister is the supreme leader of an order of sororities, equivalent to the Chapter Master of a Space Marine Chapter.

The Palace Officer is similar to the Space Marine Captain's combat unit commander, while the Dogmatist and the Secretary Sister are the corresponding auxiliary personnel.

It can be said that they just constitute the main leadership, decision-making and command group of a convent. As long as they are equipped with some auxiliary personnel, they can support the basic operation of a convent.

According to Ezi, Chen Xi only needs to build a monastery on Rostov II to accommodate the nuns, and then apply to the local star district's state religion and the nuns to get a nun to settle in.

But Chen Xi did not intend to do so. Instead, he planned to use his own pawns to complete the entry of the Sisters.

After all, if Chen Xi applied to the local star district's state religion and the nuns' order and the combat nuns who came were not under Chen Xi's control, this would be somewhat of an unstable factor.

It has been said before that battle sisters are all fanatics. Although they are very useful in clearing out heretics on the planet and can effectively prevent the spread of chaos pollution on the planet, these muscle-bound lunatics are not so easy to control.

Once problems arise, they will be as difficult to control as wild horses, and may even turn into a group of mad dogs.

Here we have to mention the Order of the Bloody Rose, one of the six factions of the Sisters of Battle. They are dressed in red armor, and just by looking at the name, you can tell that they are more powerful than Khorne's vampires in killing people.

They believe that every breath a heretic breathes in the world is blasphemy against the God-Emperor, and they can be extremely fanatical when they encounter a heretic on the battlefield.

Chen Xi was not sure that he could hold on to such a group of fanatics.

So he decided to use his own pawns to recruit a nun, so that at least he wouldn't have to worry too much about problems during battle command and on weekdays.

"We can contact the state religion of the star region through the local state religion of Rostov II, and then apply for a position in the sisterhood. As long as we get the position, the rest of the personnel recruitment and training will be easy." Chen Xi went over the entire plan in his mind, and after he felt that there was no problem, he threw the four chess pieces in his hand into the box and placed them next to the Inquisitor Governor.

After the investment was completed, Chen Xi issued new orders to the chess pieces, asking the Inquisitor Governor and the Archsister to contact the State Bishop of Rostov II and apply to him for the construction of a monastery and the settlement of the nuns.

"Speaking of which, my chess pieces are all from the Order of the Holy Rose. What are the characteristics of this order... I think it's strict discipline, calmness, and perfect tactical coordination..." Chen Xi muttered to himself. Although the battle sister chess pieces were universal, the six major orders could still be distinguished by their paint jobs. "Although the Holy Rose is rarely used on the table, in real life, they are undoubtedly much more useful than other tacticians."
