Who let this Dementor into Hogwarts!

Chapter 112 Oh my god, it’s in my bed!

This didn't do much for Harry—or, for that matter, for most Gryffindor students.

"What happened?" Harry asked Coin and Hermione after Professor McGonagall had left. "Why did Professor McGonagall say... 'danger'?"

Hermione told Harry what she and Coin had seen.

"Filch is dead too?" Ron's eyes widened. "I was just saying..."

"No one suspects you, Ron," said Hermione, turning to look at Harry. "Harry, you've been staying with Lockhart, haven't you?"

"Yes—he kept muttering to me things like 'Fame is a fickle friend' and 'Celebrities must act like celebrities'." Harry also felt something was wrong. "But... if he was the murderer, he shouldn't have been in the office at the time, right?"

"It means the murderer is still at large, and the professors have no clue what's going on," Hermione said anxiously. "If he had only attacked cats, it wouldn't have been so serious, but he attacked people..."

"There's a difference between a murderer and a cat-killing pervert." Cohen nodded, because it was Lockhart who attacked the cat.

"But since the person who attacked was Filch, it feels like it could have been done by a student," Ron speculated reasonably. "Think about it, the students all hate Filch. If someone happens to know a way to kill him and happens to be in detention by him—"

"..."

Ron was suddenly speechless.

"We are the students he just gave detention to." Hermione's face was very bad, "and we were the first to find him - after he was attacked."

"But... it can't be you!" said Harry anxiously. "You don't even know what kind of magic Filch has been under—"

"The murderer could also claim he didn't know." Ron said worriedly, "How can you prove your innocence..."

"The Flashback Charm." Hermione was still worried. "It can detect the spells our wands have cast recently - but it's very likely that the murder wasn't caused by a spell. Do you remember the words written on the wall when Mrs. Norris was in trouble last time?"

"What about 'The Chamber of Secrets has been opened'?" Harry asked. "What's the Chamber of Secrets? Hogwarts has lots of secret rooms – but it certainly can't be some empty classroom. Maybe it can be found in a book in the library?"

"I've been looking through a lot of books, but there's no introduction to the Chamber of Secrets." Hermione shook her head. "Hogwarts: A History was borrowed. Even though everyone treated the Chamber of Secrets as a joke last time, there are still quite a few people who want to find out what it is. I originally bought a copy of the book myself, but I happened to not bring it with me this semester..."

"Why?" Ron asked.

"Because Lockhart has too many textbooks!" said Hermione irritably. She no longer had a good impression of Lockhart. "There's no way I can fit an extra thousand-page book in my suitcase - I should buy an owl so that I can have my parents send the books to me..."

"I can lend you Hedwig," said Harry, "but it might take a few days for the book to arrive, and it's a long way from London."

Although Professor McGonagall sternly reminded them not to leave the Gryffindor common room, Harry tossed and turned and couldn't fall asleep after going to bed.

"Cohen...Cohen..."

Harry asked Cohen quietly twice.

"Where's the soul?"

Cohen poked his head out from under the covers. The moon outside was dim, and it was almost pitch dark in the dormitory.

"Hermione said you stopped Filch outside her door today - did you hear any noise then?" Harry said uncertainly. "Remember, we heard noises in the wall last time, and then two mice died - there were also words scribbled on the wall, 'Where are you'..."

"Indeed, I heard it," Cohen said. "There was a voice inside saying 'Kill you', the same voice I heard in the wall last time. But I don't want to tell everyone. It's unusual to hear voices that others can't hear in the wizarding world. It will make us more suspicious, especially in the past few days."

"Could it be a ghost?" Harry guessed. "It can pass through walls. Ghosts can pass through walls."

"Ghosts can't harm humans." Cohen yawned. "Leave it to the professors and go to bed early."

Cohen knew Harry wouldn't give up.

But Voldemort had the same plan. He seemed to still think that Coin didn't know that he was behind Lockhart, and he would not stop until the frame-up was successful.

At midnight, Cohen dreamed again - Cohen decided to give himself the title of Hogwarts Dream King, because this was the Nth time he had dreamed about the same snake... The basilisk was crawling in the pipe - but Cohen felt that there was something wrong with the perspective.

If he was seeing the snake from its perspective... why could he still see the entire snake's body?
The field of view was quite normal last time, but this time it suddenly changed from first person to third person.

Could it be that the basilisk can also pull its own soul out of its body?

[Here…]

This voice is right next to me!!!

Cohen woke up suddenly. Harry woke up almost at the same time as Cohen.

It was still pitch black outside - all they could see were large shadows covering the dormitory.

"Did you hear that?" Harry said in horror. "I feel like it's right under the bed!"

"Under the bed?"

Cohen's voice was surprisingly calm.

"I don't think so..."

Because Cohen felt a large, cold mass beside his legs—

[Soul Strength: 40]

Although the soul strength was exactly the same, Cohen could clearly feel that this one was related to him by blood...

"It seems to be in my bed."

No matter how close you are, you can't just crawl into someone's bed without even saying hello, right?!
Boom!
Something splattered onto the floor and scurried toward the dormitory door, pulling off Cohen's blanket in the process.

"You're even pulling the covers off! In the middle of the night!"

Cohen said angrily.

No quality!

[Secret Room...Find Me...]

The dormitory door was slammed open, and everyone in the dormitory woke up.

"What's going on?" Ron asked confusedly.

"What exploded?!" Simo shuddered.

"There's a pervert running into the dormitory." Cohen lit the tip of his wand and checked his bed.

It didn't leave behind any snacks like dead mice, so it was still quite sane.

"What kind of animal was that just now?" Harry looked at the pitch-black darkness outside the door. It was too dark just now and he couldn't see clearly.

"Like a snake," Cohen said. "Disgusting! I've never been crawled on in bed before! I'm not clean anymore..."

"Did it just say..." Harry recalled quickly, but stopped talking after remembering what Cohen had said before, "easy to be suspicious."

"Should we tell Professor McGonagall?" Seamus asked. "There's a snake in the dorms - what if it bites us?"
