"Everyone back off!"

Eli shouted into the channel, ordering all friendly forces to evacuate Jabro's underground area immediately.

Just as Eli had predicted, a high-yield nuclear bomb had been planted underground in Jabro. Glynn Wyatt wanted to annihilate the forces sent down by Under Teke in one fell swoop, thereby turning the tide of the war.

Unfortunately, this tactic is outdated in Eli's eyes. Throughout the history of Gundam, operations like this, using one's own base as bait to annihilate the enemy's main force, have been carried out several times before.

Such behavior can always be described as ruthless, essentially driven by a zero-sum game mentality. Whether it's the Titans planting nuclear missiles in the present moment, or the Atlantic Federation in another universe deploying the Cyclops system in Alaska, both require genuine military force to lure the enemy deep into their territory.

Even for enemies, being abandoned in this place as bait without their knowledge is ultimately a tragic thing.

Therefore, after prioritizing the evacuation of friendly forces, Eli also instructed the White Vanguard to announce this fact on the public channel, hoping to allow some Titans who still possessed rationality to leave.

But letting them die here would clearly reduce many unstable factors under Ander Tek's rule in the future.

"In the end, I was just too weak."

As Eli spoke, he piloted the Bull to eliminate the squad of Titans' new mobile suits, including Bazarm, who were blocking his way with guns drawn, and continued advancing towards the core area at an unobstructed speed. Jabro was not designed with the operation of mobile suits inside in mind, but its vast underground space, coupled with continuous modifications over the years, allowed the Bull to achieve high-speed maneuverability within Jabro.

Eli wasn't trying to be a hero and solve the nuclear crisis; he wouldn't do something so risky. Rather, Jabro's loss was a good omen for Eli. Just as the Earth Federation's capital returned to Earth after the Laplace Mansion was destroyed, Eli could use this nuclear bomb's destruction as an opportunity to relocate the Federation military headquarters into space, and use this as a springboard for society to expand into outer space.

What should have been the most vigorous force of a nation has remained hidden underground, which itself is a metaphor for being trapped by gravity.

The GM II quickly emerged from the core area. Ahead of him was the unexplored Titans-controlled area, but he was fearless and maintained high speed. Among the machines that tried to stop him, the GM II was no longer visible. Instead, they were all mass-produced new models such as the Zelda and Bazarm.

Because Eli is tracking the Green Wyatt Group, which is trying to evacuate from this location.

They are landing on Jabro's underground mass launcher, intending to leave the battlefield on their own and head to space. Their plan is that after eliminating most of the forces mobilized by Andre Tek in this battle, their forces in space will be easier to handle, at least enough to rival the Titans' current strength. At that point, the Federation will likely employ the art of compromise and ultimately choose to quell the war.

That was what they originally thought.

"Damn it, are the New Humans really this unreasonable? They can even predict nuclear bombs in advance?"

Inside the ship's cabin, Glenn Wyatt, the famous tea general, completely lacked the refinement of an old English aristocrat, smashing his teacup on the ground with a ferocious expression.

He knew how powerful the New Humans' senses were on the battlefield, but he never imagined that these senses could detect threats yet to materialize. Just as he was underground, he had always viewed the New Humans through the lens of his old, narrow lens, treating their sensory abilities merely as another form of radar.

Now forced to bring the aircraft into the launch sequence ahead of schedule, he could only attribute the failure to the unreasonable abilities of the new humans.

He didn't think there was anything wrong with his plan; in fact, he felt that by taking the risk of launching the missile just before the nuclear bomb exploded, he was already an excellent commander who stood with his subordinates through thick and thin.

"An enemy aircraft is approaching at high speed!"

As Green was angrily berating his subordinates, alarm sounds rang out on the MS communication channels guarding the various passageways.

"General, please take off immediately! The person coming is Eli!"

Eli's Gundam was already well-known in the Earth sphere without any promotion.

Even a single Gundam cannot break through the combined defense of multiple mobile suits in the short time it takes for the launch sequence to execute.

So when Eli finally broke through the defenses and reached the launch site, the space shuttle had already risen into the sky, leaving a white trail behind it.

Eli raised his beam rifle. At this distance, he wouldn't miss like that shameful red-clad guy and fire three spectacular shots; if he wanted to, he could destroy the space shuttle during takeoff.

No one doubted this, so the moment Eli raised his gun, communications from the space shuttle were brought into the cockpit.

“Stop, Eli, otherwise the Titans will not stop and will continue to fight, which is not a good thing for the Federation.”

Despite the threat to his life, Green Wyatt, who had requested to negotiate, remained composed and showed no trace of the anger he had just displayed towards Eli.

“Let me return to space. I will then restrain my subordinates’ actions and allow the Federation to develop according to your plan. It’s just about developing space. If we work together, we will naturally be more efficient. There’s no need to plunge the Federation into turmoil that could last for an unknown period of time.”

Seeing that Eli was aiming at him but hadn't fired, Green Wyatt's tone quickened. "What we're doing is a dispute over the Federation's direction. If we let the Federation descend into chaos because of this, that would be a real mistake, wouldn't it?"

The contrail trailed by the space shuttle gradually dispersed, and at this distance, Green could no longer see the bull's appearance, nor did he even know whether the gun had been lowered.

But they are already at a high enough altitude that Eli might not be able to fire accurately.

"Om-"

The next moment, a beam of light pierced through the disgust and grazed past the side of the space shuttle!

As expected, the shot missed!

Before Green Wyatt could even feel relieved, Eli's voice came through the communication channel.

"General, please take one last look at the Earth you cherish. Even Dozru of the Zabi family, the enemy of the Federation, looked towards the universe before he died. So please, at least stick to your principles."

Glynn Wyatt didn't understand the meaning of that sentence. What did it mean to mention Dozle at this time? But Eli still remembered the Federation's idea at the time: "to throw Dozle out to unite the Zeon remnants and eliminate the Zeon threat."

Just as Green Wyatt said, this is ultimately a case of drinking poison to quench thirst.

In this way, everything Eli did was just as Green had said—a mere internal struggle over policy within the Federation.

Green Wyatt saw that Leon, who was still in the Jabro launch area, had lowered his gun.

For a moment, Green thought Eli meant that he would never be able to return to Earth, so he should stay a little longer. Just as he was feeling humiliated and relieved and was about to reply, a beam of light pierced through the middle of the space shuttle. Eli, who was maintaining contact, could even see Green's figure being swallowed by the beam and turning into a black shadow in the instant.

"Well done, Amuro."

Eli paid no further attention to the crashing shuttle, maneuvering the aircraft from the launch port in front of him toward the ground, and then heading away from Jabro.

The attack was carried out by Amuro, who was piloting the Nu Gundam on the deck of the White Vanguard, with the Mega Rocket Launcher in his hand connected to the White Vanguard's power unit via cables.

"How is the situation in the Basque Country?"

"He has already been taken into custody."

Amro had just been sent by Eli to pursue the Basques who were fleeing to Australia, and he had just captured the white vanguard horse from the Basques when he promptly came to Eli's aid.

"Have we won?"

After firing that shot, Amro was somewhat at a loss.

He looked down at his allies, their machines, some intact, some damaged, all watching Jabro being gradually engulfed by the nuclear fireball. A sun was rising above them, while in the distance, the setting sun cast its glow. The scene truly felt like the end of an epic saga.

Among the debris of the crashed space shuttle, humanity gained a tangible possibility of leaving Earth.

Eli did not reply.

Instead, they look to the universe.

His gaze could not penetrate the atmosphere, let alone travel across vast distances to see the edge of the Earth sphere.

But at the edge of the Earth's sphere, around side 3, the asteroid Axis ignited all of its nuclear engines.

"The war is far from over. In the world you've envisioned, I don't see a place for myself."

Among the numerous pieces of debris scattered across this region of space are those of the Titans and those of the Side 3. But without exception, they all revolve around a massive machine.

"Let's take action, THE O, we're going to seize the world."

Without the purple-haired man needing to push any levers, Theo beneath him began to operate, actually entering the silent asteroid and heading towards Earth together. (End of Chapter)
