After the Silver Thunder crashed, events unfolded somewhat anticlimactically. While the Titans in Washington did receive orders to resist, very few actually returned to the fight. They didn't surrender to the Karaba, and the Karaba members, led by the White Vanguard, didn't pursue. Ultimately, the Titans army silently withdrew from Washington, handing over the majority of the Federal Council to Under Tek.

Thus, the vote of no confidence in the current federal government was passed.

The first thing the interim government, led by Gop, did after its formation was to legally abolish the Titans' series of extraordinary powers, including the right to defend Earth, and to announce this fact to the entire Earth Sphere.

Of course, the Titans, dominated by the Basques, immediately declared that this was a false announcement made by the rebels led by Eli, who controlled the federal government. They then announced that under the leadership of General Glynn Wyatt, they would carry out a campaign to uphold the king and punish the rebels.

To those insensitive to politics, this may seem like just another information war between the two sides. But those with a keen sense of smell immediately realize that this war is rapidly moving towards its final stage.

In the following week alone, four battles broke out over the struggle for near-Earth orbit, and the struggle for near-Earth orbit was ultimately won by Andre Tek, while the Titans retreated to the area around the almost besieged Sedan Gate.

On the ground, with Gop forming his government and taking office, the regular Federation forces in various parts of the world comprised nearly half of the new governments. In space, the Space Force, led by General Tiam, responded quickly, issuing a joint statement with General Jamitov, who was also in space, denying the Titans any further opportunity to operate.

It may sound like a small amount, but don't forget that after the Titans took over the core of the military and the General Staff, the disconnect between the military and the Federal Parliament has been gradually widening. The current situation is already a result of the Federal legal system being on Gop's side.

The fact that the General Staff remained under Titans control meant one thing—Jabro, the headquarters of the Union Army, had not responded to the new government's call. After all, the troops stationed there were staunch Titans loyalists, protecting Glynn Wyatt.

Against this backdrop, the white vanguard, having already swept across the North American continent, arrived at the Panama Canal. Of course, although it was also a ship, the white vanguard did not need to pass through the canal; it floated in the air, watching the ships moving through the canal below.

"The orbital airborne troops have been assembled and are ready to be deployed in combat at any time."

"Well, hard work."

Eli took the tablet Amuro handed him and signed his name on it. He no longer needed to personally oversee troop movements; in fact, things had progressed to a point where Eli no longer needed to concern himself with the minutiae. His role was simply to launch the attack on the Titans as a symbol.

Because the outcome of the war has little to do with Eli personally. The army itself will naturally move towards victory.

"Looking at this canal from the sky, you really feel that the earth is a narrow place."

As Eli checked and signed off on each item, Amuro looked down through the porthole of the bridge and could clearly see the cargo ships sailing in the opposite direction, slowly moving across the narrow waterway. With Amuro's abilities, he could also sense that the crew members of many ships were looking up at the white vanguard horse, and a sense of envy welled up in his heart.

"Isn't space also subject to flight path limitations?"

As Eli glanced at Amuro between signings, he realized that even someone who had fully matured into a reliable adult could utter such philosophical words.

"But in the universe, there is at least the power to turn in other directions, even if it involves some risks."

"There won't be any gravitational pull yet."

Eli signed his last name, transmitted the document into space, and then replied to Amuro.

The two exchanged a smile. Any pilot who has ever flown a mobile suit in space will complain about the various inconveniences caused by gravity once they return to Earth. However, even living in space, people need artificial gravity to allow their bodies to grow and develop normally.

So, in order to adapt to the universe, will NEW TYPE undergo more physiological changes in the future?

Eli did not have any further plans in this regard.

"The airspace is clear, continue forward!"

As Captain Otto, who had been listening for a long time, suddenly spoke, the passenger plane that had been blocking the white vanguard changed direction, and the white vanguard continued to head south at a leisurely pace, towards Jabulo.

Any obstacles encountered along the way were either wisely stepped aside, or were swiftly cut off by Amuro's Nu Gundam.

Compared to his experience at the White Fortress during the One Year War, Amuro is now much more at ease.

Just as the situation on the ground was becoming increasingly tense as the white vanguard approached Jabro, the movement of an asteroid in space seemed to become insignificant.

Axis is approaching Earth's orbit.

It has entered the Earth Sphere, just outside the range of Side 3. The Titans soldiers within it have received orders to bring Axis to the vicinity of the Sedan Gate and strengthen the near-Earth orbit deterrence.

"If it weren't for this order, how could we tolerate these Zakus before our eyes!" The Axis commander gritted his teeth as he watched the High Zakus once again flit past the edge of the Axis defense perimeter. These mobile suits, which completely inherited the appearance of the Zaku, fueled the Titans loyalist's rage. However, he also knew that the Titans' military strength within Axis was no match for Side 3. Since Side 3 was maintaining restraint and hadn't launched an attack, he had to keep his subordinates calm in order to ensure that Axis could be brought into Earth's orbit.

"Sir, Side 3 has sent another conversation request."

The Titans commander rubbed his head, looking somewhat annoyed. He'd received numerous requests for a talk during this time, but had ignored them all. He felt that continuing to ignore them might actually provoke Side 3 into an attack.

"Put it through."

Before long, a figure sitting upright on a high throne appeared before them.

"Zeon is Zeon. Whether it's a principality or a republic, they all play the same game."

Just seeing this scene made the Titans commander almost lose control. This scene reminded him of the Zabi family, the horrific family that had started a war that had caused the deaths of his entire family.

Seated atop the throne was Artesia, who remained unperturbed by Titans' provocation.

“We have no intention of blocking your way. However, I would like you to hand over the civilians inside Axis to us.”

Artesia acted as if she hadn't heard the provocation, simply stating her demands in a calm manner.

The Titans' commander fell silent.

"You're going to be fighting next, and you probably don't want any more destabilizing elements within the organization, right?"

"The people of Zeon are actually so kind?"

"I just don't want to see any more of my compatriots killed or injured."

The Titans commander was silent for a moment. He glanced at the civilian settlement displayed on the monitor. Under days of oppressive rule, all the civilian uprisings they had organized had been suppressed, and they should no longer pose a threat. But bringing them into the battlefield would not only increase his own burden, but also create internal chaos at a crucial moment, which would indeed become a weakness.

"Civilians can be transferred, but it must be done according to our plan, in batches. Your receiving ships must remain outside the cordon. Also, deliver a batch of supplies to us."

"What do you want?"

"Food, water, spare parts."

"Don't even think about the parts; the rest will be prepared for you."

Neither side had any goodwill towards the other, and the communication ended quickly.

This decision quickly spread throughout Axis. In the civilian areas, the news elicited mixed reactions. Some hurriedly packed their belongings, while others hesitated. Axis's civilian population consisted mainly of those who had already lived there and had been relocated after the One Year War. Some were genuine civilians, while others were simply people who could no longer be tolerated in the current Republic of Zeon.

But the Titans soldiers paid no heed to their thoughts, quickly entering the civilian area armed to the teeth and beginning the evacuation, herding them onto any available civilian vessels, such as mining ships, cargo ships, and shuttle boats, and throwing Axis out onto them.

These ships, set to an automated program, automatically headed away from Axis.

Meanwhile, several cargo ships from side 3 were also heading to Axis with loads of food and water.

Everything was proceeding normally until a yellow beam of light pierced through the GM II as it inspected the cargo ship.

"I'm not going to let things settle down like this."

In the distance, a massive machine gradually came into view.

"At least, I haven't joined the battle yet."

Sirocco piloted his brand-new mech, a cold smile on his face. However, his gaze was naturally not fixed on the insignificant army before him, but rather on Earth, where the battle for Jabro had already begun in the distance.

That was the battlefield he would truly join later. (End of Chapter)
