Chapter 480
“Nami’s suggestion was really good,” Robin said. “If she hadn’t suggested building the cabin, we probably would have just rested on the boat and wouldn’t have had this special experience.”
"Hehe." Nami said shyly, "I just felt that since we're in such a beautiful place, we should enjoy it to the fullest."
“That’s right,” Borsalino said slowly. “Life is about enjoying the present.”
"Uncle Kizaru is right!" Luffy agreed.
In the afternoon, everyone did what they wanted to do.
Luffy and Chopper ventured deep into the island in search of something interesting.
They discovered an orchard, the trees laden with unidentified fruit.
"What kind of fruit is this?" Luffy picked one.
“I don’t know,” Chopper sniffed, “but it smells really good.”
"Then let's try it!" Luffy took a bite.
"So sweet!" he exclaimed in delight.
"Really? I want to try some too!" Chopper took a bite. "It's really sweet!"
The two picked a lot of fruit and put it in a basket to take back.
Nami and Robin went to the waterfall.
The pool beneath the waterfall is crystal clear with a comfortable water temperature, surrounded by lush greenery, resembling a private natural bathing spot.
"So beautiful!" Nami exclaimed.
"Want to go swimming?" Robin suggested.
“Okay!” Nami immediately took off her coat and jumped into the pool.
"Wow! The water is so refreshing!" she exclaimed happily.
Robin gracefully entered the water, and the two swam leisurely in the pool.
"This feels so good," Nami exclaimed. "Away from danger, away from pursuit, just simply enjoying nature."
“Yes,” Robin smiled. “While our lives are always full of adventure, we sometimes need this kind of peace.”
Zoro found an open space next to the hut and began training.
Even on vacation, he doesn't relax his standards for himself.
Sword swings, slashes, footwork—every movement was performed with seriousness and focus.
Sanji looked at him and shook his head.
“This guy even trains on vacation,” he said.
“That’s Zoro’s way,” Franky laughed. “For him, training itself is a pleasure.”
Franky himself was modifying the waterfall. He made a simple waterwheel that used the power of the water flow to turn it, which was both beautiful and interesting.
Brooke continued playing the violin in the cabin, and beautiful music filled the air.
Usopp draws on the beach, documenting the beauty of the island.
Borusalino, on the other hand, strolled around the island, enjoying the scenery and completely relaxing.
Time passed slowly, and before we knew it, the sun began to set in the west.
The sky was dyed orange-red, and the sunset reflected on the sea, a breathtaking sight.
"Look!" Nami pointed to the sky, "What a beautiful sunset!"
Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked up at the sky.
Orange, pink, purple—various colors intertwine to create a magnificent picture.
"How beautiful!" Robin exclaimed.
“I’m going to write this down.” Usopp picked up his sketchbook.
“At times like these, we should have some music,” Brooke said.
He picked up his violin and played a gentle melody.
The music, accompanied by the sunset and the sound of the waves, created a perfect harmony.
Everyone quietly appreciated the moment.
“This is the vacation I’ve always wanted,” Nami whispered. “Beautiful scenery, a warm atmosphere, and my beloved companion.”
“We’re so lucky,” Robin smiled. “To find a place like this, to have such a time.”
"Yeah, I love this island! I love everyone!" Luffy grinned.
“We love you too, Luffy!” Chopper said.
The sun gradually sank below the horizon, and darkness fell.
The stars began to twinkle in the sky.
“Let’s sleep in the cabin tonight,” Nami suggested.
"Great!" Everyone agreed.
Sanji prepared a sumptuous dinner, and everyone sat around a campfire in the cabin to enjoy the food.
“It was a really fulfilling day,” Franky said. “We built a house, explored the island, and saw a beautiful sunset.”
"Yes," Zoro rarely sighed, "life like this is truly wonderful."
"Let's continue exploring this island tomorrow!" Luffy said excitedly. "Maybe there'll be something else interesting!"
“Take your time,” Nami said. “We have three days.”
"By the way, Uncle Kizaru," Luffy said, looking at Borsalino, "what do you think of this place?"
“Very good,” Borsalino said slowly. “This peaceful life reminds me of many things.”
"What's wrong?" Chopper asked curiously.
“A dream from my youth.” Borsalino looked at the campfire. “Back then, I also dreamed of this kind of life—away from conflict, with friends, enjoying simple pleasures.”
"And then?" Nami asked.
"Later," Borsalino smiled, "I became a navy officer, took on responsibilities, and my dreams were put on hold."
“But things are different now, aren’t they?” Robin said gently. “You are free now, and you can realize your dream from back then.”
“Yes,” Borsalino nodded, “that’s why I cherish my life now.”
"Then stay with us forever!" Luffy said. "Let's adventure together and enjoy life together!"
“Yes.” Borsalino smiled. “I will.”
As night deepened, the campfire gradually died down, leaving only faint embers flickering.
After everyone had eaten and drunk their fill, they began to prepare for bed.
"So, the girls will sleep in the two rooms on the left, and the boys will sleep in the rooms on the right," Nami assigned.
"Understood!" everyone responded.
Nami and Robin entered the room on the left and lowered the bamboo curtain as a door curtain.
"Finally, I can get some rest." Nami stretched. "Today was really tiring."
“Yes,” Robin smiled, “but it was very fulfilling.”
“I’ll go get a change of clothes,” Nami said. “They’re on the ship.”
“I’ll go too,” Robin said.
The two walked out of the cabin and headed toward the Thousand Sunny, which was moored in the bay.
Meanwhile, in the boys' room, Sanji's eyes suddenly lit up.
"They went to the boat to get their clothes," he muttered. "That means they'll be back to change in a bit."
His mind was already racing with ideas.
"No, no!" He patted his face. "I'm a gentleman, I can't do such a thing!"
But a few seconds later, his expression changed again.
"But...but this is a rare opportunity!" His eyes turned into hearts. "The sight of Nami and Robin changing clothes...ahhhhh~"
He started having a nosebleed.
"Hey, what kind of lewd thoughts are you having?" Zoro noticed Sanji's unusual behavior.
"Shut up, you green-haired moss!" Sanji immediately retorted, "I wasn't thinking anything lewd!"
"Your expression has already given you away," Zoro said coldly.
"What do you know!" Sanji's face flushed red. "This is a man's romance!"
"Romantic my foot!" Zoro scoffed. "You're just a lecher."
"What did you say?!" Sanji was furious.
"Alright, alright, stop arguing," Franky advised. "Everyone's tired, let's go to sleep." "Hmph," Sanji lay down, but his eyes kept glancing towards the girls' room.
After a while, Nami and Robin returned from the ship.
"We're back," Nami said. "We need to change and go to bed, so please don't come any closer."
"Okay~" the boys replied.
Nami and Robin entered the room and lowered the bamboo curtain.
Sanji's heart began to race.
"They're changing clothes," he thought to himself, "right behind that bamboo curtain."
He tried to control himself and told himself he couldn't do such a thing.
But a few minutes later, reason finally broke down.
"I...I'll just take a look!" he whispered to himself. "Just one look!"
He quietly got up and tiptoed towards the girls' room.
Zoro opened one eye, looked at Sanji's back, and shook his head.
“That idiot,” he muttered.
Sanji cautiously walked to the outside of the girls' room. The bamboo curtain blocked his view, but he could vaguely see the shadows inside.
His heart was pounding even faster, and his nose was about to bleed.
"Just one look. Just one look." He reached out, preparing to gently lift a corner of the bamboo curtain.
at this time--
"What are you doing?"
A cold voice sounded behind him.
Sanji turned his head stiffly and saw Nami standing behind him with a terrifying smile on her face.
"Nanami-san?" Sanji broke out in a cold sweat. "What are you doing here?"
"I forgot my towel, so I went back to the ship to get it." Nami's smile grew increasingly sinister. "I didn't expect to come back to find someone lurking around like this."
"No, no!" Sanji explained hastily, "I just... I just..."
"You just wanted to peek, right?" Nami's voice was calm, but terrifyingly calm.
"I...I..." Sanji couldn't speak.
"Sanji." Nami slowly raised her fist, black energy flashing around it like lightning. "Do you know the consequences of spying?"
“Wait a minute! Nami-san! I can explain.” Sanji raised his hands.
“No explanation needed,” Nami said. “Thunderbolt—Heavenly Punishment!”
"boom!"
A heavy punch landed on Sanji's head, the powerful force sending him flying.
"Aaaaaah!" Sanji screamed as he crashed through the wall of the hut, flying several meters away before landing on the beach.
The loud noise woke everyone up.
"What's wrong?!" Luffy woke up with a start.
"What happened?" Chopper was startled.
Everyone rushed out of the room and saw a large, human-shaped hole in the wall. Sanji was lying on the beach in the distance, with smoke rising from his head.
"Sanji?" Luffy looked at him in confusion.
Nami walked out of the room, her face still showing anger.
“This pervert tried to peep at us while we were changing,” she said coldly.
"Ah!" Everyone suddenly realized.
"Hehehe!" Brook was the first to laugh out loud. "Mr. Sanji is still the same as ever!"
“That guy never learns his lesson,” Zoro laughed. “I knew he’d do that.”
"Sanji-kun!" Franky covered his face. "You're being way too obvious."
"How stupid!" Chopper couldn't help but complain.
Borsalino leaned against a pillar, chuckling slowly.
“Young people, they really have a lot of energy,” he said.
Robin also came out of the room, looked at Sanji in the distance, and smiled gently.
“Sanji hasn’t changed at all,” she said.
Luffy was laughing so hard he was rolling on the ground.
"Hahahaha! Sanji got sent flying! Hahahaha!" He laughed until tears streamed down his face.
“It’s not funny at all,” Sanji said weakly on the beach, but no one listened to him.
"You deserve it!" Nami said, hands on her hips. "Serves you right for not learning your lesson!"
"But Nami-san, you went too far!" Sanji covered his head and stood up unsteadily.
"Heavy? I've already gone easy on you," Nami scoffed. "If I catch you again, it won't be so simple."
“Yes, yes,” Sanji dared not refute.
“Speaking of which,” Usopp said, looking at the large hole in the wall, “the house has been breached.”
"Ah!" Everyone then noticed the hole in the wall.
"I'll fix it tomorrow," Franky sighed. "That's fine for tonight."
"I'm sorry," Sanji said, bowing his head in shame.
"Hmph." Nami turned and went back to her room. "Remember this, if you do it again, I'll throw you into the sea to feed the fish."
“Yes, yes,” Sanji answered obediently.
Robin returned to her room, and before leaving, she said gently, "Sanji, get some rest."
"Ah~ Robin-san~" Sanji is going to swoon again.
"Snapped!"
Nami threw another punch.
“Behave yourself!” she said.
"Yes," Sanji said, clutching the new bump on his head.
Everyone burst into laughter at the sight.
"You bastards!" Sanji said, his face flushed with shame and anger, but a smile remained on his face.
"Alright, alright," Borsalino said, "the farce is over, everyone go back to sleep."
"Yes, we'll continue exploring the island tomorrow," Robin's voice came from inside the room.
"Let's go to sleep." Luffy yawned and went back to his room.
The others also returned to their rooms one after another.
As Zoro passed by Sanji, he patted him on the shoulder.
“Serves you right,” he said briefly, but there was no sarcasm in his tone; rather, there was a hint of sympathy.
“Shut up, you green algae head,” Sanji replied weakly.
After everyone went back to their rooms to rest, Sanji sat alone on the beach, looking at the starry sky.
"I really am," he sighed, "why can't I control myself every time?"
But soon, he laughed again.
“But that’s just me.” He lit a cigarette. “Sanji is Sanji.”
The morning sunlight streamed through the gaps in the coconut leaves into the hut, waking everyone from their sleep.
Luffy was the first to open his eyes and stretch.
"Good morning!" he shouted energetically, completely ignoring the others who were still sleeping.
"It's so noisy," Zoro rolled over and went back to sleep.
"Wake up, wake up!" Luffy jumped up and started shaking Zoro. "Today we're going to explore the depths of the island!"
"Okay, okay," Zoro said, sitting up with a sigh. "Can't you let someone sleep a little longer?"
“But the sun is already up!” Luffy said matter-of-factly.
Soon, the others also got up one after another.
Sanji rubbed the bumps on his head as he walked out of the room. The two bumps Nami had given him the night before were still swollen.
