Chapter 442 A Little Bit of Kindness!
"That's outrageous!" Luffy exclaimed angrily. "Where are those pirates?"

“They must have headed towards the islands to the east,” the man pointed into the distance. “They said they were going to divide the loot there.”

"Then let's go after them!" Luffy immediately set off.

"Wait, Luffy!" Nami stopped him. "We're operating as merchants right now; we can't easily reveal our pirate identities."

"But we can't let those bad guys get away with it!" Luffy said unwillingly.

“They definitely can’t be let off.” Borsalino agreed with Luffy’s point of view. “Robbing innocent merchants deserves to be punished.”

"What should we do then?" Sanji asked.

Borsalino thought for a moment, then said, "We can stop them in the name of heroism. Ordinary people also have the right to protect themselves and others."

“That’s right!” Robin agreed. “Besides, we’re out-of-town merchants, so it’s reasonable for us to defend ourselves when we encounter bandits.”

"It's decided then!" Luffy exclaimed excitedly. "Let's go teach those bad guys a lesson!"

“We’ll go with you!” the man suddenly said. “Those are our things, and we want them back!”

“That’s too dangerous,” Chopper said worriedly. “You’re not combatants.”

“But those goods are very important to us!” the woman pleaded. “They represent all our savings; if we don’t get them back, we’ll go bankrupt!”

Seeing the couple's earnest expressions, the Straw Hat Pirates were all moved.

“Okay,” Nami agreed. “But you have to follow our instructions and not act recklessly.”

“Of course! We will follow your arrangements completely!” The couple nodded gratefully.

The Thousand Sunny changed course and headed towards the small island. According to the couple's description, the pirate crew that robbed them consisted of about twenty people; they were of average strength but very brutal.

“We need to develop a detailed plan,” Borsalino said. “We need to both salvage the cargo and ensure the safety of the couple.”

“And we can’t reveal our true identities,” Nami added.

"That's easy!" Luffy said casually. "Just defeat them!"

“Luffy, we can't be so simplistic and crude,” Robin cautioned. “We need to consider more factors.”

After discussion, they devised a relatively detailed plan. Borsalino, Zoro, and Sanji were responsible for the main battles, while the others were responsible for protecting the couple and searching for the stolen goods.

An hour later, they arrived at the island. It was a deserted island with only some basic vegetation and a few natural caves.

“Their ship is over there!” the man said, pointing to a pirate ship moored on the beach.

Indeed, a medium-sized pirate ship was moored on the beach, flying the skull and crossbones flag. Judging from its size, it could certainly hold more than twenty people.

“I’ll go scout out the situation,” Borsalino offered.

"Be careful," Nami warned.

Borsalino transformed into a faint ray of light and silently flew towards the island. His ability to transform into light allowed him to adjust his brightness, making him almost undetectable during the day.

He quickly located the pirates. They were in an open area in the center of the island, dividing their loot around a campfire. Various goods were scattered on the ground, including food, clothing, and decorations.

“About twenty-five people,” Borsalino counted silently. “Their strength seems average, but their numbers are considerable.”

He noticed the pirates were drinking and celebrating, and they seemed quite drunk. This was a good opportunity.

Upon returning to the Thousand Sunny, Borsalino shared his observations with everyone.

"They're drinking?" Sanji's eyes lit up. "That makes things easier."

“But there are still a lot of people.” Usopp was a little worried.

“It’s alright,” Zoro said confidently. “The three of us are enough to handle an enemy of this caliber.”

"Let's get started!" Luffy said impatiently.

They parked the Thousand Sunny on the other side of the island and then walked through the jungle to the vicinity of the pirate camp.

“Remember, we are merchants here to right a wrong,” Borsalino concluded. “Don’t use your abilities too obviously.”

"Understood!" Everyone nodded.

They quietly approached the pirate camp, where the pirates were indeed drinking and making merry, completely unaware of their presence.

"Hey!" Luffy suddenly emerged from the woods and shouted. "Are you the pirates who robbed the merchant?"

The pirates were startled by the sudden sound and grabbed their weapons, looking at Luffy.

"Who goes there?" The pirate captain was a burly man with a full beard. "Dare to cause trouble on our turf?"

"We are friends of the merchants you robbed!" Luffy declared confidently. "We've come to get back what you stole!"

"Hahaha!" the pirates roared with laughter. "A few merchants dare to cause us trouble?"

"You fools who don't know their own mortality!" the captain brandished his broadsword. "Since they've delivered themselves to our doorstep, let's finish them off!"

"Brothers! Take all their stuff!"

More than twenty pirates rushed over immediately, and the scene looked terrifying.

But for the Straw Hat Pirates, an enemy of this caliber is nothing to worry about.

"Three-Sword Style - Demon Slash!" Zoro struck first, a sharp blade flashed, and three pirates immediately fell to the ground.

"Devil's Kick - Chest Shot!" Sanji's fiery kick struck several other pirates.

"Gum-Gum-Pistol!" Luffy's fist sent the pirate captain flying.

Borsalino, on the other hand, joined the battle in a more covert manner. He didn't use any obvious light-transformation abilities, but instead relied on his incredible speed and precise strikes to quickly subdue several pirates.

"So impressive!" exclaimed the couple watching from a distance. "Are they really just businessmen?"

The battle lasted less than ten minutes. All twenty-five pirates were knocked to the ground, some unconscious, some groaning, completely incapacitated.

"Too weak." Zoro sheathed his sword, looking somewhat disappointed.

"With this level of skill, you dare to be a pirate?" Sanji shook his head.

"Anyway, it's finally resolved." Borsalino looked at the pirates scattered all over the ground. "Now let's go find the stolen cargo."

They searched the camp and quickly found the couple's cargo. Except for some food that had been eaten, most of the items were intact.

"Great!" The couple ran over excitedly. "Our goods are all here!" "What about the money?" Nami asked with concern.

"Here it is!" Chopper found a money pouch on the pirate captain. "This should be it."

After checking and confirming that it was their money, the couple were so excited they almost cried.

"Thank you so much!" the man said, shaking Borsalino's hand. "Without you, we would be finished!"

“It’s nothing, it’s what I should do,” Borsalino said modestly. “Anyone with a sense of justice would do the same.”

"What should we do with these pirates?" the woman asked.

“Let’s leave it to the local navy,” Robin suggested. “We’re businessmen; we’re not suited to handle this kind of thing.”

“That’s right.” Borsalino nodded. “We can notify the nearest naval base.”

So they tied up the pirates and contacted the local navy. Warships arrived quickly to handle the situation.

"Who are you?" the approaching naval officer asked Borsalino about his identity.

“We are merchants from out of town,” Borsalino said, showing his identification documents from the Red Earth Kingdom. “We encountered fellow merchants who had been robbed on the road, so we helped them recover their goods.”

“I see.” The officer nodded after checking the documents. “You’ve done a good job! We’ll take these pirates back and put them to serious trial!”

"That's good," Borsalino said with satisfaction.

While the Navy was dealing with the pirates, the couple kept thanking the Straw Hat Pirates for their help.

“We truly don’t know how to repay you,” the man said sincerely. “These goods are our everything.”

“We’re happy to be of help,” Nami said gently. “Helping each other is the way to go.”

"Oh, right!" the woman suddenly remembered something. "We're actually going to Crystal Harbor. If you're going there too, we can be your guides!"

"Really?" Chopper exclaimed excitedly. "That's great!"

“We know Crystal Harbor very well!” the man said proudly. “We can take you to the best places!”

"Then I'll have to trouble you!" Luffy said happily.

And so, the Straw Hat Pirates unexpectedly gained two local guides. To express their gratitude for being saved, the couple insisted on showing them around Crystal Harbor's various attractions and restaurants free of charge.

"This was truly an unexpected bonus," Nami said happily. "Not only did I perform an act of heroism, but I also gained a professional guide!"

"And we also got those pirates' bounties," Robin added. "The Navy gave us a reward of 5 Berries."

"That's great!" Borsalino said with a smile. "It feels really good to get paid for doing good deeds."

"Now we have more funds!" Nami happily added the prize money to her financial plan.

That evening, the Thousand Sunny, carrying the Straw Hat Pirates and the couple, continued its journey towards Crystal Harbor. The sun was setting, the sea shimmered, and everyone was in high spirits.

"We'll be at Crystal Harbor tomorrow!" Luffy exclaimed excitedly, gazing into the distance. "I can't wait!"

"I've already decided what to buy!" Nami said, holding up her shopping list.

"I want to try the local specialties!" Sanji was also looking forward to it.

The following morning, a beautiful city silhouette appeared on the horizon. Crystal Harbor truly lived up to its name; from afar, one could see countless crystal-clear buildings shimmering in the sunlight.

"Wow! It's so beautiful!" Luffy exclaimed excitedly, leaning against the bow railing. "Why are those buildings glowing?"

“They say the buildings in Crystal Harbor are all adorned with special crystal decorations,” the man—whose name was Thomas and whose wife was Irene—proudly explained. “They sparkle beautifully in the sunlight.”

“And Crystal Harbor also boasts the world-famous Crystal Caves,” Erin added. “They contain natural crystals of all colors; it’s truly spectacular.”

Borsalino gazed at the distant city, a sense of anticipation rising within him. Although he, as a naval admiral, had seen many beautiful sights, opportunities to appreciate the scenery purely as a tourist were indeed rare.

“Let’s go to the port to complete the immigration procedures first.” Nami took out the prepared documents. “Thomas, is there anything we need to be careful about?”

“Nothing special,” Thomas waved his hand. “Crystal Harbor is a free port and very welcoming to foreign merchants. All you need is proper identification.”

The Thousand Sunny slowly entered the port, and Borsalino noticed that the dock facilities were very advanced and orderly. Various ships were moored in an orderly manner, and the staff were very efficient.

“The management here is quite good,” Robin observed the port. “It looks like a thriving trading city.”

“Of course!” Thomas said with a proud expression. “Crystal Harbor is one of the most important commercial centers in the entire sea area.”

After completing immigration procedures, everyone started discussing accommodation. Nami took out her travel guide and prepared to look for a hotel with good value for money.

“Wait a minute,” Eileen suddenly spoke up. “You saved our lives, how can we let you stay in a hotel?”

“It’s alright,” Sanji said politely. “We have enough funds.”

“No!” Thomas shook his head firmly. “You are our saviors, you must stay in our house!”

"But wouldn't that be too much trouble for you?" Chopper asked worriedly.

“It’s no trouble at all!” Eileen said enthusiastically. “Our house is big enough; it can easily accommodate everyone!”

"Is your house very big?" Nami asked curiously. "What kind of business do you run?"

Thomas and Eileen exchanged a glance, then said somewhat embarrassedly, "Actually, our family runs some businesses in Crystal Harbor."

"What industry?" Luffy asked directly.

“Well, it’s mainly crystal mining and processing,” Thomas said modestly. “There are a few other businesses as well.”

"Crystal mining?" Franky's eyes lit up. "Sounds amazing!"

"It's nothing," Eileen waved her hand. "It's just a family business passed down from generation to generation."

Borsalino sensed that the couple seemed to be deliberately downplaying something, but since they weren't willing to elaborate, he didn't press them. Everyone has their own privacy.

“Since you’ve extended such a warm invitation, we’ll gladly accept,” he said slowly. “But we still need to pay for the accommodation.”

“Absolutely not!” Thomas firmly refused. “It’s just a small token of our appreciation!”

And so, the Straw Hat Pirates left the port with Thomas and his wife. They first rode in a luxurious carriage, and then transferred to a beautifully crafted small boat, traveling along the city's waterways.

“Crystal Harbor has waterways?” Brooke looked at the buildings on both sides in surprise.
