Chapter 7225 Flexible

Chapter 7225 (Seven Thousand Two Hundred and Twenty-Five) Flexibility

The gray-handed man laughed, "It's me, so what?"

“It’s you. I don’t need to think about what to do if I don’t get a positive answer,” the brown-handed man said.

The gray-handed man said, "It wouldn't hurt for you to think about it."

The brown-handed man said, "It's alright, you won't do anything to me, but it's really unnecessary."

"You're not having second thoughts, are you?" Grayhand asked.

The brown-handed man laughed and said, "It seems I do have some regrets."

"Is something like this something to regret?" Grayhand asked.

“I didn’t need to consider it, but I did,” said the brown-handed man.

The gray-handed man laughed and said, "There are plenty of unnecessary things to do, but we still do them all the time, don't we? Some things are clearly unnecessary, but we do them not just once, we do them again and again. After all this, aren't you used to it yet?"

The brown-handed man said, "I'm used to it, but I'm only used to those things. This time, I still had to consider things that I didn't need to consider before, which is different from other times."

"What's the difference? Aren't they all things you think are unnecessary?" Grayhand asked.

“Yes,” the brown-handed man said, “but when I’m facing you, I still wonder what I should do if I don’t get a positive answer.”

The gray-handed man said, "This is perfectly normal. You're not making things difficult for yourself because of this, are you?"

“It’s not that I should be making things difficult for myself, but it’s not right,” said the brown-handed man.

"What's this about right and wrong?" Grayhand laughed. "What does it matter if it's right or wrong? Aren't they all just people's own thoughts? And thoughts can be flexible and ever-changing."

The brown-handed man laughed and said, "Since you've said that, I won't say 'shouldn't'."

"But you still regret it?" Grayhand asked.

“That’s right,” the brown-handed man said. “You’re not saying ‘shouldn’ anymore, so do you really think it’s wrong? If you really think it’s wrong, then what you did wasn’t ‘wrong,’ so what are you regretting?” the gray-handed man laughed.

Brown-Handed Man said, "Sometimes I don't think too much about it, and then I just regret it."

“I know you regretted it just now, but I said so much to you afterwards, are you still going to regret it?” the gray-handed man asked.

“Well, I won’t regret it then,” said the brown-handed man.

"Are you really sure, or are you just saying this to appease me?" the gray-handed man asked.

The brown-handed man laughed and said, "None of those are true."

"Why is there a 'neither of these' option?" Grayhand asked.

The brown-handed man chuckled, “I do intend not to regret it, but I haven’t truly achieved that yet, so I can’t say I really am. But if you’re going to call it being perfunctory, that’s not really true. When I said ‘Well, I won’t regret it,’ I was responding to you, but actually, I was also encouraging myself.”

"What should I do to encourage myself?" Grayhand asked.

“Encourage yourself to do it,” the brown-handed man laughed.

The gray-handed man said, "So serious?"

"I wasn't that serious, was I? Anyway, it's good that responding to you can encourage myself to do it too," said the brown-handed man.

"Did your self-encouragement work?" Grayhand asked.

"It should work, but I can't say exactly when it will. I also hope I won't regret any of these things. I can only say, I'll do my best," said the Brown-Handed Man.

The gray-handed man said, "I really shouldn't have."

"Shouldn't what?" the brown-handed man asked.

“I shouldn’t have said that. I shouldn’t have mentioned ‘perfunctory’ to you at this time in the first place,” Grayhand said.
