Chapter 7206 New and Old

Chapter 7206 (7206) New and Old
The brown-handed man said, "Whether it suits my taste or not depends on the situation."

"Explain why you need to consider the situation. Can't you just give me a direct answer that suits your taste?" Grayhand asked.

"For the sake of 'originality,' I have no choice but to say it this way, whether it suits my 'heart' or not," said the brown-handed man.

"Hey, the first character of the 'novelty' you mentioned, is it the 'new' in 'new and old'?" Gray-Handed Man asked.

The brown-handed man asked, "How did you know?"

The gray-handed man laughed and said, "When you spoke just now, you emphasized the word 'new.' You stressed that word so much, how could I not know?"

The brown-handed man asked, "Is that really the reason?"

"Otherwise what? Who do you think made me say that?" the gray-handed man asked.

The brown-handed man laughed and said, “I don’t think it’s because I emphasized a word or not. In my opinion, even if I hadn’t emphasized ‘new’ so much, you would have guessed it was ‘new’ in ‘new and old’.”

The gray-handed man asked, "Why?"

The brown-handed man joked, "If that's what you're asking, I might just say whatever comes to mind."

“Of course you can say whatever you want, the more casual the better, right?” the gray-handed man asked.

“Yes, but then we wouldn’t know where I would ‘follow’,” the brown-handed man said.

"Don't worry about it, just keep talking," said the gray-handed man.

"Alright, then you'll just have to make do with this," the brown-handed man chuckled.

The gray-handed man said, "What do you mean by 'just getting by'? It's like I'm at a disadvantage. I want to hear it. Can't you say I'm 'satisfied'?"

"Whether you'll still be able to say 'satisfied' after hearing this is another question," the brown-handed man laughed.

The gray-handed man said, "Then I'm even more curious. Tell me quickly."

“Look, haven’t we compared the past and the present many times during this period?” the Brown-Handed Man asked.

“Yes,” said the gray-handed man.

“Is this a ‘new’ situation?” the Brown-Handed Man asked. “Yes,” the Gray-Handed Man replied.

"What about the old days?" the brown-handed man asked.

“Same old situation,” said the gray-handed man.

"Aren't we making a comparison between the 'new' and the 'old'?" the brown-handed man asked.

“Yes,” the gray-handed man said. “How many times have we compared them?”

“Now you’ve hit the nail on the head again,” said the brown-handed man.

"What's the key?" Grayhand asked.

The brown-handed man laughed and said, "The number of times."

The gray-handed man said, "You haven't said it many times yet."

“Why should I say it so many times? I didn’t keep track. And sometimes we subconsciously make comparisons, does that count as one time?” the brown-handed man said. “Sometimes we might not even realize it when we make comparisons, so how do we count those?”

"Is it that detailed?" the gray-handed man asked.

“I said that because I thought it was impossible to do it that meticulously. I don’t know how many times I’ve said it, but the exact number of times doesn’t affect what I’m about to say,” said the brown-handed man.

"I don't know how many times, but do you think it's not enough?" the gray-handed man asked.

“There are quite a few, so it has nothing to do with ‘few’,” said the brown-handed man.

"You think that's a lot, right?" the gray-handed man asked.

“Yes. What do you think?” the brown-handed man asked.

“There are quite a lot,” said the gray-handed man.

“Since we both think there’s a lot, then wouldn’t you say we’re immersed in an atmosphere of contrasting the old and the new?” the brown-handed man asked.

“Yes, it counts,” said the gray-handed man.
