Mind Master of the Elf World

Is Chapter 55 a success?

Is Chapter 55 a success?
The next morning.

"Kou Jie!!"

Jinghe was awakened from her sleep by Gastly's scream. Opening her sleepy eyes, she saw it circling around the room like a headless fly.

"It's a bit strange not being licked awake from paralysis."

Jing He withdrew her hand, which had been unconsciously rubbing "cherry fruit" onto the bedside table, and asked:

"What happened? The learning machine is gone?"

"Hehehe!" Gastly shouted hurriedly.

The little fox has disappeared!

Ok?
It was only then that Jinghe remembered that there was a Pokémon in the house.

Looking towards the foot of the bed, there was no sign of the Ice Six-Tailed Fox.

"Don't worry, this is the sixth floor. It couldn't have jumped off the building. The door is locked, so it should still be inside."

As he spoke, Jinghe quickly got out of bed and started searching the house with Ghost.

"Kou Jie!!"

It's fortunate that Gastly can pass through walls and even walk straight through some furniture.

Finally, we found the Ice Vulpix curled up in the corner under the wardrobe.

It huddled close to the wall, its tail covering its head, revealing only two crystal-clear light blue eyes.

They saw Jinghe lying on the ground and Gastly grinning mischievously.

"Ooh!!"

The Ice Sixtails bared its two small fangs and growled softly at them.

The milk is fierce. The milk is fierce.

"Kou Jie~~"

Gastly's eyes rippled.

So cute~~
Jinghe felt a little heavy-hearted.

The Ice Vulpix's rejection of them was more severe than they had imagined.

This may be related to its past experiences.

After thinking for a moment, Jing He grabbed a handful of energy cubes, lay down on the ground, and handed them in.

Even a Pokémon psychologist would need to be able to communicate and interact with a wounded Pokémon to comfort it.

Furthermore, he cannot see the Ice Vulpix's Pokédex unless the Vulpix uses any moves or abilities.

Smelling the aroma of the energy cube, Ice Sixtail blinked at Jing He, its eyes revealing a hint of doubt and intense wariness.

"Eat up," Jing He said with a smile.

"Never mind anything else, you're too weak right now. You lost so much blood yesterday. Eat something to recover."

"Hehehe~~"

Gastly swallowed hard, joining Jinghe in offering words of comfort.

Eat up, eat up.

Energy cubes are so delicious, aren't they easy to handle?

Ice Six-Tail stared at the energy cube in Jing He's hand again.

Snapped! !

Unexpectedly, the Ice Six-Tails suddenly swung its claws and slapped Jing He's hand away.

Energy cubes were scattered all over the ground.

"hiss--"

Jing He gasped, noticing three scratch marks on her hand, from which blood slowly seeped out.

A hint of apology and heartache flashed in the eyes of the Ice Vulpix, but it was quickly concealed.

He still looked wary.

"Kou Jie!"

When Gastly saw the scattered Power Cubes, it rushed forward and carefully picked up each one, even blowing on it with a touch of reluctance.

It looked puzzled.

It doesn't make sense.

Energy cubes are so delicious.

Back then, Jinghe bought it off with just a bowl of instant noodles.

Through the bottom edge of the cabinet, Vulpix watched Gastly's every move.

Jinghe sat up, leaning against the cabinet.

I didn't pay much attention to the wound on my hand.

After all, they've gotten used to being licked by Gastly, so this is nothing.

"I remember"

He began to speak slowly, as if talking to himself.

“I know a friend who, like you, went to an unfamiliar region, an unfamiliar city, and an unfamiliar school alone. He didn’t dare to have too much contact with others, and he didn’t dare to slack off in his studies.”

"He loves Pokémon, but he's too afraid to raise them because he doesn't have the time, energy, or money. So he chose to take a Pokémon psychology course because he believes that Pokémon are much simpler than people."

Others think the original owner was very powerful.

He entered Silver University with the highest theoretical score in the Hoenn region, and even graduated early from the academy, making him only a few years older than Daigo and the others.

Little did they know how much they had sacrificed, both materially and in terms of time, to achieve such results.

"Hehehe"

Gastly had floated back to his side at some point, and its expression was somewhat complicated as it listened.

This was also the first time it had heard Jinghe say these things.

When you hear other people's stories, even if they are told in a plain way, you can always relate them to your own.

"Ooh!"

Ice Six's low voice came from under the cabinet.

Jinghe and Gastly exchanged a glance and smiled.

This time, instead of squatting down, he took a plate, placed the energy cube on it, and carefully pushed it in.

"Eat something. Once you've recovered, if you want to go home, I'll take you back to Alora. If you want to stay..."

The words were not finished.

Jinghe suddenly felt a cool, soft tongue licking the wound on her hand.

"Kou Jie~~"

We're back!

Before the door was even opened, Gastly squeezed right through it and crawled in, searching for the shadow of Vulpix.

Then a snow-white figure disappeared from sight in a flash.

"He looks much more energetic."

Jinghe opened the door and walked in, carrying a bag of things.

After a day of comforting, Vulpix was much less wary of him and Gastly. Considering its weakened state, it took Gastly to the department store that evening.

Once inside, Gastly was already standing guard by the cabinet.

Clearly, the Ice Vulpix has gone inside again.

Jing He sighed inwardly.

Pokémon may have simple hearts, but they are also intelligent beings who can think for themselves.

In some ways, their inner strength is fragile.

Strength lies in waiting countless years for a promise and silently enduring everything.

Their vulnerability lies in the fact that when they are abandoned or deceived, their hearts are left with huge wounds that may never be healed.

"Six-Tails, I bought you a gift. Do you like it?"

Jinghe walked to the cabinet and took out three light blue bows from her pocket.

"Ooh?"

The Ice Vulpix has dared to peek its head out from under the cabinet right in front of Jinghe and Gastly.

It looked at the three bows, its big eyes sparkling like stars.

"Shall I put it on for you?"

Jinghe asked with a smile.

"Ooh!"

The Ice Vulpix retracted its head again.

"口桀"

Gastly lowered its head somewhat dejectedly.

Jinghe smiled and indicated that it was alright.

next second.

Sudden——

A white figure darted out from under the cabinet and rushed straight into his arms.

Bang! !

It was a complete disaster, with people and horses falling flat on their faces.

Ice Sixtails nestled in his arms, burying its head deep inside, its body trembling slightly.

It seems a very big decision has been made.

It also seems that he was worried and afraid about his decision.

Sensing the state of the Ice Vulpix, Jing He smiled gently and held it softly in her arms.

It didn't say anything, but just slowly stroked its back.

It took a while for the Ice Vulpix to gradually recover.

"Here, let me put it on for you."

Three bows, one worn around the neck, and two hanging below the ears.

"Alright! Take a look." Jinghe brought over a mirror.

"Ooh?"

The Ice Vulpix, its cheeks flushed, slowly raised its head.

"Kou Jie!!"

Gastly let out a strange howl, just like a wolf.

"It suits you very well. It seems I have good taste," Jing He couldn't help but praise.

Ice Sixtails blushed even more and lowered its head.

Then, as if making a decision, the little guy climbed onto Jinghe's shoulder and gently licked his cheek with his little tongue.

"Kouhee, kouhee!"

I want one too! I want one too!
Gastly chuckled and quickly floated over, sticking out its scarlet tongue to lick Jinghe's other cheek.

suck-

A thin layer of frost rose on one side, while numbness gradually settled on the other.

Jing He's lips twitched.

It doesn't seem bad?
Originally, it seemed like things should have ended there.

Gastly was too excited and stuck out its tongue too long, spitting saliva onto Vulpix's bow.

stare!
For an instant.

The feeling that Vulpix gave Jinghe and Gastly completely changed.

Then, a blue halo appeared in the eyes of the Ice Six-Tails.

The next moment.

"Uh, ugh?! Σ(дlll)"

Bang! !

Gastly flew backward and stuck firmly to the wall.

A drop of cold sweat slid down.

Supernatural powers? !
Jing He's pupils also contracted.

I glanced at the Gastly on the wall.

She glanced down again at the shy and bewildered Ice Vulpix.

It seems... unaware of its own capabilities?
