Chapter 727 Who Dares to Speak So Arrogantly?
Although Xiaoqing was somewhat unwilling, she knew that now was not the time to be willful, so she followed Bai Suzhen and Ao Guang into the sky, disappearing into the horizon.
As Fahai watched Bai Suzhen and Xiaoqing leave, his heart was filled with despair. He knew that this time, he was truly finished.
"Fahai, what do you have to say now?" Zhu Xiong Ying looked at Fahai, her tone icy.
Fahai slumped to the ground, knowing he had no chance of resistance left.
“I…I surrender,” Fahai said with difficulty, his voice filled with resentment and humiliation.
Zhu Xiong Ying's lips curled up slightly, revealing a cold smile.
“Very good,” Zhu Xiong Ying said. “From today onwards, you are my servant. I will show you what true power is.”
Fahai's body trembled; he had never imagined that such a day would come.
Zhu Xiong Ying ignored Fa Hai and turned to look at the distant sky.
"Come out. You've been hiding for so long, it's time to show your face," Zhu Xiong Ying said calmly.
As Zhu Xiong Ying finished speaking, a figure slowly emerged from the void.
This is a man dressed in black, with a black mask covering his face, obscuring his features.
"Who are you?" Zhu Xiong Ying looked at the man in black, a hint of wariness flashing in her eyes.
“Who I am is not important. What is important is that I know your secret,” the man in black said in a hoarse voice.
"Oh? My secret?" Zhu Xiong Ying looked at the man in black with great interest. "Tell me about it."
“You are not the real Zhu Xiong Ying,” the man in black said slowly. “You have been reborn through possession.”
Zhu Xiong Ying's expression changed slightly, and a hint of murderous intent flashed in his eyes.
"How did you know?" Zhu Xiong Ying asked coldly.
“You don’t need to worry about that,” the man in black said. “I know your secret, and I know your weakness.”
"My weakness?" Zhu Xiong Ying sneered. "You overestimate yourself."
“Is that so?” the man in black said. “I know who you care about most.”
As he spoke, the man in black took out a portrait of a beautiful woman, none other than Bai Suzhen.
"If you dare to lay a finger on her, I will tear you to pieces!" Zhu Xiong Ying's eyes were filled with rage.
“Of course I wouldn’t dare touch her,” the man in black said. “I just want you to understand that your fate is in my hands.”
"What do you want?" Zhu Xiong Ying asked, barely suppressing his anger.
“It’s simple, submit to me,” the man in black said. “I can help you get everything you want.”
"Dream on!" Zhu Xiong Ying roared, and a powerful aura erupted from his body.
"Looks like you're going to have to suffer the consequences instead of being polite." The man in black sneered, and with a flash, he disappeared from the spot.
The next moment, the man in black appeared behind Zhu Xiong Ying, a black dagger in his hand, and stabbed at Zhu Xiong Ying's heart.
Zhu Xiong Ying was prepared and dodged the attack from the man in black with a quick movement.
"A mere trick!" Zhu Xiong Ying sneered and struck the man in black with a palm.
The man in black dared not meet the attack head-on, and with another flash, he disappeared from the spot. "Trying to run?" Zhu Xiong Ying sneered, his figure transforming into a golden light as he gave chase.
The two chased and fled, and soon left Jinshan Temple, arriving at the vast sea.
The man in black suddenly stopped, turned around and looked at Zhu Xiong Ying, a strange smile flashing in his eyes.
“You’ve been tricked!” the man in black said.
Just then, a huge whirlpool suddenly appeared on the sea surface and swallowed Zhu Xiong Ying...
The center of the whirlpool wasn't filled with turbulent water as Zhu Xiong Ying had imagined; instead, it was eerily calm. He felt as if he were wrapped in a giant cocoon, everything around him becoming blurry. A powerful suction pulled him downwards, and he struggled to resist, only to find his strength utterly insignificant in the face of this force.
"Damn it!" Zhu Xiong Ying cursed under his breath, a sense of unease rising in his heart. He realized that he might have fallen for the black-clad man's trick; this vortex was not formed naturally, but rather was some kind of formation or magical artifact.
After an unknown amount of time, the descent finally stopped. Zhu Xiong Ying crashed heavily to the ground, feeling as if all the bones in his body were about to shatter. He struggled to his feet, looked around, and found himself in an unfamiliar space.
The sky here was an eerie dark red, and the air was thick with the stench of blood. The ground was littered with countless skeletons, some still bearing remnants of rotting flesh, a truly nauseating sight.
"What kind of place is this?" Zhu Xiong Ying frowned, his heart filled with doubt and vigilance.
Suddenly, a gust of cold wind blew by, bringing a chill to the bone. Zhu Xiong Ying felt a chill run down his spine. He turned around abruptly, only to find that there was no one behind him.
"Playing tricks!" Zhu Xiong Ying sneered, conjuring a ball of golden flame in his hand.
Just then, a sinister voice came from all directions: "Welcome to the Asura Hell, this will be your burial ground!"
Zhu Xiong Ying's gaze sharpened as he warily scanned his surroundings. He knew he had fallen into the enemy's trap.
"I'd like to see who dares to spout such nonsense!" Zhu Xiong Ying roared, and golden flames transformed into a fire dragon, rushing towards the direction from which the voice came.
Wherever the fire dragon passed, the eerie atmosphere instantly dissipated, revealing a figure dressed in a blood-red robe.
"You're the mastermind behind this?" Zhu Xiong Ying stared at the man in the blood-red robe, his eyes filled with murderous intent.
"Heh, you guessed right." The man in the blood-red robe let out a chilling laugh. "However, you'll never know."
As soon as the man in the blood-red robe finished speaking, the surrounding scenery suddenly changed. The once gloomy hell transformed into a magnificent palace. Zhu Xiong Ying found himself sitting on a dragon throne, wearing a dragon robe and a crown.
"What's going on?" Zhu Xiong Ying was filled with doubt.
"Your Majesty, you've finally woken up." A familiar voice came.
Zhu Xiong Ying turned his head and saw Bai Suzhen standing beside him with a gentle smile on her face.
"Suzhen?" Zhu Xiong Ying could hardly believe his eyes.
"Your Majesty, what's wrong?" Bai Suzhen asked with concern.
Zhu Xiong Ying looked at Bai Suzhen, then at the surrounding environment, his confusion deepening. He felt as if he were in a dream, yet it felt so real.
"I...I'm fine." Zhu Xiong Ying shook his head, trying to stay awake.
"Your Majesty, you have been unconscious for three days," Bai Suzhen said. "The imperial physician said you are overworked and need to rest."
"Three days?" Zhu Xiong Ying was shocked. He felt like he had only been in the Asura Hell for a short while.
“Yes, Your Majesty,” Bai Suzhen said. “For the past three days, I have stayed by your side.”
