Chapter 726 Do you think you can kill me?
Zhu Xiong Ying stood aside, watching the scene unfold before him, his heart filled with mixed emotions. He didn't know what to say or do.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, Fahai secretly gathered his strength, preparing to launch another attack.

Suddenly, the sound of rapid hoofbeats broke the awkward silence in the distance.

"Report! Your Majesty, something terrible has happened! Japanese pirates are attacking!" A soldier rode up on a fast horse.

The news of the Japanese pirates' attack struck everyone like a thunderbolt. Zhu Xiong Ying's face instantly darkened. He glanced at Bai Suzhen and Xiao Qing, who were still locked in a stalemate, and sighed inwardly.

"Suzhen, Xiaoqing, I must deal with the Japanese pirates now. I will leave Fahai to you." Zhu Xiong Ying said in a deep voice, his tone carrying an unquestionable authority.

Bai Suzhen and Xiaoqing were both taken aback; they hadn't expected Zhu Xiong Ying to leave at this moment.

"Your Majesty..." Bai Suzhen wanted to say something, but was interrupted by Zhu Xiong Ying.

"I believe you can handle this well." After saying this, Zhu Xiong Ying turned and left, leaving them with only a resolute back view.

Watching Zhu Xiong Ying's departing figure, a complex expression flashed in Bai Suzhen's eyes. She knew that Zhu Xiong Ying did this to give her and Xiao Qing a chance, a chance to resolve the grievances between them and Fahai.

Xiaoqing's eyes were filled with anger and confusion. She couldn't understand why Zhu Xiong Ying would leave at this time, or why he wouldn't kill Fa Hai himself to avenge their hatred.

"Sister, what are you still hesitating for? He's our enemy!" Xiaoqing said through gritted teeth, her eyes filled with murderous intent.

Bai Suzhen took a deep breath and slowly said, "Xiaoqing, there are some things you don't understand yet..."

"I don't understand? What don't I understand? Do you still have feelings for him?" Xiaoqing's voice rose a few decibels, her tone carrying a hint of accusation.

Bai Suzhen did not answer, but silently turned around to face Fahai.

Fahai had recovered some of his strength by this time. He looked at Bai Suzhen and Xiaoqing with eyes full of resentment and mockery.

"Bai Suzhen, Xiaoqing, do you really think Zhu Xiong Ying will let me go? He's just using you! Once I regain my power, I will make him pay the price!" Fahai roared.

Bai Suzhen stared coldly at Fahai, her eyes devoid of any emotion.

"Fahai, you have committed countless evils and your crimes are unforgivable. Today is your death day!" Bai Suzhen's voice was icy cold, as if it came from the deepest hell.

"Hahaha! You think you can kill me?" Fahai laughed wildly, his huge tentacles waving again.

Upon seeing this, Xiaoqing immediately drew her sword and went to meet them.

"Sister, let me help you!" Xiao Qing shouted, her figure moving like lightning as she clashed with Fahai's tentacles.

Bai Suzhen also summoned her white silk ribbon and joined the battle.

In an instant, magical power surged, and the world changed color.

Bai Suzhen and Xiaoqing joined forces to engage in an earth-shattering battle against Fahai.

Although Fahai absorbed the power of the earth's veins, greatly increasing his strength, Bai Suzhen and Xiaoqing were no pushovers either. Having cultivated for a thousand years, their magical power was profound, and coupled with their tacit cooperation, they gradually gained the upper hand.

Fahai's tentacles were constantly being severed, blood splattering everywhere, and he let out painful roars.

“Damn it! How could you…” Fahai’s eyes were filled with anger and resentment.

He never imagined that he would be driven to such a state by two women.

"Fahai, your end has come!" Bai Suzhen shouted coldly, and her white silk transformed into a giant python, tightly binding Fahai.

Xiaoqing seized the opportunity, her sword transforming into a streak of cold light as she pierced towards Fahai's vital point.

"No..." Fahai let out a desperate roar.

Just at this critical moment, a golden light descended from the sky, blocking Xiaoqing's sword. "Stop!" a dignified voice rang out.

Bai Suzhen and Xiaoqing were both startled and looked up to see that Zhu Xiong Ying had returned at some point.

“Your Majesty, you…” Xiaoqing looked at Zhu Xiong Ying with a puzzled expression.

Zhu Xiong Ying ignored Xiao Qing and walked up to Fa Hai, looking down at him.

"Fahai, I'm giving you a chance." Zhu Xiong Ying's voice was calm, yet carried an undeniable air of authority.

"What opportunity?" Fahai raised his head, a glimmer of hope flashing in his eyes.

"I'm giving you a chance to submit to me," Zhu Xiong Ying said slowly.

"Submit to you?" Fahai was taken aback, then burst into laughter.

"Zhu Xiong Ying, who do you think you are? Do you think I would submit to you? I am..."

Before Fahai could finish speaking, Zhu Xiong Ying interrupted him.

"What are you? You're nothing but a loser, a pathetic wretch." Zhu Xiong Ying's tone was icy, like a thousand years of frozen ice.

“You…” Fahai’s face instantly turned extremely ugly.

"I'm giving you one last chance: submit, or die." Zhu Xiong Ying's voice was icy cold, devoid of any emotion.

Fahai looked at Zhu Xiong Ying, his eyes filled with struggle.

Submission means he will lose his freedom and his dignity.

However, if he does not submit, he will face certain death.

“I…” Fahai’s lips trembled slightly, but he ultimately did not say it.

Just then, a dazzling light suddenly appeared in the distant sky, and a huge figure slowly descended from the sky...

Fahai's Adam's apple bobbed, and beads of sweat rolled down his forehead. Submit to Zhu Xiong Ying? This was an utter disgrace to him! How could he, the abbot of Jinshan Temple, a great master who subdued demons, bow down to a mortal? Yet, the threat of death was so real that he could not ignore it.

Just as he was torn between his inner turmoil and his own will, the dazzling light drew closer, revealing a colossal figure—a golden dragon, its scales shimmering brilliantly in the sunlight. The dragon coiled in the air, emitting a deafening roar, and a powerful pressure enveloped the entire world.

"Ao Guang, what are you doing here?" Fahai shouted in terror. He recognized the giant dragon as Ao Guang, the Dragon King of the East Sea.

Ao Guang ignored Fahai and instead respectfully bowed to Zhu Xiong Ying: "Greetings, Your Majesty."

"Rise," Zhu Xiong Ying said calmly.

"Your Majesty, I have come by imperial decree to welcome Young Master Bai back to the palace," Ao Guang said respectfully.

Bai Suzhen was slightly taken aback, but then she understood Zhu Xiong Ying's intention. He wanted her to leave to avoid getting involved in this conflict.

“Xiong Ying…” Bai Suzhen looked at Zhu Xiong Ying, her eyes filled with complex emotions.

Zhu Xiong Ying smiled gently at Bai Su Zhen: "Su Zhen, you go back first. I will handle things here."

Bai Suzhen hesitated for a moment, but finally nodded. She knew that Zhu Xiong Ying was doing this to protect herself.

"Xiaoqing, let's go," Bai Suzhen said to Xiaoqing.
