Chapter 3799 Loyalty!

Chapter 3799 Loyalty!

Although Ellie's words were simple, Adele understood what she meant:
"You mean you don't want to come with me, but you want me to take the cat back to the ship?"

"It's dangerous here."

"You should all come back with me."

"No, it's about mission and responsibility."

Ellie shook her head and tried to remove Xiaomia from her head, but clearly she couldn't.

Adele, who knew nothing about it, felt as if she had grasped the truth:
"He gave you a secret mission, didn't he?"

Ellie thought for a moment:
"It's not a mission, it's a responsibility. Break the seal and go to the mountaintop."

Adele looked at the girl with a pitying expression:
“I understand. Although I don’t know the specifics of his plan, his demands on you are a bit too high. In that case, I’ll go with you. The road ahead will probably be difficult, but I can help you.”

Ellie shook her head again. She tried once more, and only after confirming that she couldn't move the cat above her head did she give up.

"Go to the top of the mountain and help."

"You want me to go straight to the top of the mountain?"

"A boat, that works too."

Adele nodded gently, then whispered a protective spell for the two little unicorns and the cat:
"Alright, I'll go to the boat first and tell them about your situation. You should also be careful and not be reckless."

As she spoke, she glanced at the little unicorn and the cat, confirming that the three of them combined couldn't even fill a pocket, so they definitely didn't have any personal belongings. Then she took out the two curved stones she had obtained during the battle on the mountain:

"Take this with you. The environment on the snow mountain is getting worse and worse. You will definitely need this."

Two curved objects, one white and one gold, appeared. Ellie stretched out her delicate white hand. In the light emanating from her hands, Adele saw the curved objects transform into two apples, one white and one gold.

She blinked, feeling that since meeting the little unicorns, there were more and more things she couldn't understand. But she quickly realized it was easy to figure out; it must be those witches who spent all their time with Shad keeping it from her.

"this is for you."

Ellie accepted the golden "Pain" apple and left the white "Happiness" apple for Adele.

Holding the warm apple, Adele touched little Leona with some concern. When she reached out to Ellie, she realized she was in human form, and touching her head seemed impolite.

However, Ellie took the initiative to extend her hand, so Adele smiled and took her hand for a brief handshake.

The moment the two made contact, a thick mist of steam billowed out from behind Ellie, and the four rings of fate that emerged from the mist were inscribed with the whispered rune of "Time".

Holding Ellie's little hand, Adele was completely bewildered by what she was seeing. Although she had sensed that Ellie possessed the level of a Ring Mage, she had assumed it was a perceptual error caused by the chaotic elemental environment.

But even the little unicorn became a ring sorceress, gaining spirit runes when she touched it, something the witch couldn't comprehend.

"goodbye!"

However, the cat, little Leona, and Ellie were all quite used to this. Ellie cheerfully waved goodbye to Adele, and Mia meowed. Ellie climbed onto little Leona's back, and then the little unicorn rubbed its cheek against the witch before hopping and skipping back into the snow.

The witch stood at the cave entrance, watching the little unicorns and the cat disappear into the snowy night, still feeling that everything that had just happened was utterly insane.

"This feels so strange, like the world has suddenly changed. Have I wandered into some kind of fairy tale world? Or is Vanessa and the others really hiding a lot of things?"

With these questions in mind, she leaped into the air and landed on the deck of the Radiant Messenger five minutes later.

This time, she didn't come as the mysterious Miss Sabel; the Speaker of the Witch Council finally appeared on Fatummont Island in her true form. Fortunately, although everything that happened in the snow mountain was strange, at least the ship was still functioning normally.

"Speaker!?"

Upon entering the cabin, she almost immediately bumped into Rita and Matilda in the corridor. The flaxen-haired girl was so startled she nearly dropped the suitcase she was carrying, while the blonde maid remained remarkably calm.
"Good evening, Your Excellency Speaker."

"Good evening. Who is in command on the ship now?"

"is teacher."

The head maid of Moon Bay said this, and then said to Rita behind her:
"Please take these two items back to the laboratory first. I will take the Speaker to the banquet hall."

"Ok."

Rita picked up the box and ran off down the corridor, but Adele knew without a doubt that she had gone to deliver a message. In reality, however, Miss Eliza had already spotted her the moment she landed on the deck.

Therefore, when Adele arrived at the banquet hall with Matilda, everyone was prepared to welcome this thirteenth-tier great witch.

Good evening, Your Excellency Speaker.

Adele nodded in response, her golden eyes sweeping over Stella, who was fighting amidst the light and shadow, and the sand table on the table beside her, covered with countless points of light.

Luvia stood quietly with the other busy girls, while Bella and Claire greeted Adele's arrival together.

"Your Excellency Speaker, what brings you here?"

"I came here because I was worried about you. I didn't come alone; Chaos, Moon, and Creation all sent some people, along with my followers. They encountered some trouble in the waters of Falling Star Bay, but they will be here soon."

Bella, once they arrive, you can assign them tasks. Do you have enough manpower?

Hearing that reinforcements were coming, Bella outwardly breathed a sigh of relief, but inwardly she remained vigilant, knowing that the Speaker had secretly gathered manpower while keeping it a secret from everyone present. After all, if she could secretly gather manpower today, she might do so tomorrow.
"Currently, we have enough manpower, but only the vanguard is fighting. The story of the seventh act is about breaking thirteen seals, and there are still four seals left."

"Your Excellency, Vanessa is leading a team to deal with those troublesome monsters in the snowy mountains. Why don't you go directly to the summit and meet up with Megan and Sylvia, who are waiting there? That's the most important place."

Bella wanted the Speaker, who had suddenly appeared tonight, to leave the ship, since Shad should be returning soon. Only four seals remained, and the five candidates were about to meet; Adele Isabella's presence in this stronghold of the great witches was now somewhat of a hindrance.

The Great Witch of Time nodded imperceptibly; she knew perfectly well what Bella was thinking.

"I just ran into that little unicorn named Ellie. She was accompanied by another unicorn and an orange and white cat. How did you let Ellie run away? And where did that strange unicorn and cat come from?"

Claire and Bella both paled slightly, but Luvia in the crowd knew this was the Great Witch of Time retaliating. She had seen Shad with Mia before; there was no way she wouldn't recognize the cat.

"Something went wrong in Act VII, and Ellie was forcibly dragged into the performance. The strange unicorn and cat were probably also involved. The elves brought quite a few unicorns to this island this time; I think they were little unicorns that escaped from the elf camp."

Bella explained that she realized continuing the conversation might lead to more problems. She wanted to change the subject, perhaps by discussing the current situation on the island, but Adele then pressed her for a serious answer:

"Bella, are you hiding a lot from the council?"

Bella and Claire both felt a jolt in their hearts—

"She knows about Xia De's affairs?"

But what Claire said was:
"Your Excellency Speaker, we are utterly loyal to the Parliament. What exactly do you wish to say?"

So, wanting to seize the opportunity to cause trouble, Adele took out the white apple:
"Loyalty? Well, ladies, can any of you explain what that is?"

The apple had attracted everyone's attention the moment it appeared, even Luvia raised an eyebrow. Claire didn't recognize it, and relieved that the Speaker wasn't asking about Shad, while Bella stepped forward to examine the apple more closely:
"This is."

She asked incredulously:

"Frozen destiny? But why is it apple-shaped? Your Excellency, may I ask where this came from? Is there some relic that can turn destiny into an apple?"

Adele initially thought Bella was still acting, but after carefully observing Bella's expression, she realized that the others on the ship were also unaware of the matter. Although she was still somewhat angry that she seemed to have become an "outsider" to the Witch Council, she knew this matter was important:

"When I met Ellie and the others earlier, Ellie gave this to me."

She briefly described how she discovered the cave, communicated with the humanoid unicorn inside, and then the unicorn showed her the Life Ring and she obtained the Spirit Rune:
"At that time, Ellie transformed into human form, and after touching the two curved objects I gave her, the curved objects instantly turned into apples. So you didn't know Ellie's abilities? She's at the fourth ring level now. She couldn't have advanced four levels tonight, could she?"

Adele observed Bella and Claire's expressions:

"You're not trying to tell me that you didn't know any of this either, are you?"

Bella shook her head, holding the apple:

"When Ellie disappeared around 8 o'clock, she didn't have the Ring Warlock rank, and she couldn't transform into an apple. Yes, this apple was a genuine Fate Solidified. However, apart from the different shape, it was no different from Curved, and of course, it couldn't be eaten."

Bella then emphasized:

“We are loyal to Parliament, and we have not hidden anything.”

Adele did not comment on this:
"Then can you answer this question for me—why is that little unicorn named Ellie so special? Don't tell me that you didn't notice anything unusual before tonight."

"She may be the sixth candidate."
